Guys, im in a bind, I think I should maybe play She Hulk/Jennifer Walters instead of Quake. What does the floor think?

Bowen

Game hasn't started. Yeah sure pick you you want to play.

Sally Aces

Go with the characters you most love. The rest will work itself out.

I downplayed it in my app, but if we need a powerhouse, Meggan has awesome super strength when she needs it.

JaredSyn

I think you should play who you want. We have some heavy hitters in here Ghost Rider included as well as Meggan, and Rogue.

Hero Name: Captain America

Legal Name: Steve Rogers

Origin of Powers: Super Soldier Serum

Age:92

Sexuality:Hetero

Powers:
The Super Soldier formula enhances all of his metabolic functions and prevents the build-up of fatigue poisons in his muscles, giving him endurance far in excess of an ordinary human being. It also increases his strength and agility to the maximum range for a human. His enhancements are the reason why he was able to survive being frozen in suspended animation for decades and he is highly resistant to hypnosis or gases that could limit his focus.

Special Skills and Other:
Rogers' battle experience and training make him an expert tactician and an excellent field commander, with his teammates frequently deferring to his orders in battle. Rogers' reflexes and senses are extraordinarily keen. He has blended judo, western boxing, kickboxing, and gymnastics into his own unique fighting style and is a master of multiple martial arts. Years of practice with his near-indestructible shield make him able to aim and throw it with almost unerring accuracy. His skill with his shield is such that he can attack multiple targets in succession with a single throw or even cause a boomerang-like return from a throw to attack an enemy from behind.

Rogers has vast U.S. military knowledge.  He is an expert in combat strategy, survival, acrobatics, parkour, military strategy, piloting, and demolitions. Despite his high profile as one of the world's most popular and recognizable superheroes, Rogers has a broad understanding of the espionage community, largely through his ongoing relationship with S.H.I.E.L.D. He is also a talented artist.

Equipment:
A nigh-indestructible disc-shaped shield made from an experimental alloy of steel and the fictional vibranium. The shield was cast by American metallurgist Dr. Myron MacLain, who was contracted by the U.S. government, from orders ofPresident Franklin D. Roosevelt, to create an impenetrable substance to use for tanks during World War II. This alloy was created by accident and never duplicated, although efforts to reverse-engineer it resulted in the discovery of adamantium.

History:
Steven Rogers was born in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City, in 1925 to poor Irish immigrants, Sarah and Joseph Rogers. Joseph died when Steve was a child, and Sarah died of pneumonia while Steve was a teen. By early 1940, before America's entry into World War II, Rogers was a tall, scrawny fine arts student specializing in illustration and was a comic book writer and artist.

Disturbed by the rise of the Third Reich, Rogers attempted to enlist but was rejected due to his frail body. His resolution attracted the notice of U.S. Army General Chester Phillips and "Project: Rebirth". Rogers was then used as a test subject for the Super-Soldier project, receiving a special serum made by  the scientist Abraham Erskine.

The serum was a success and transformed Steve Rogers into a nearly perfect human being with peak strength, agility, stamina, and intelligence.  Erskine refused to write down every crucial element of the treatment, leaving behind a flawed, imperfect knowledge of the steps. Thus, when the Nazi spy Heinz Krugerkilled him, Erskine's method of creating new Super-Soldiers died. Captain America, in his first act after his transformation, avenged Erskine.

Unable to create new Super-Soldiers and willing to hide the Project Rebirth fiasco, the American government cast Rogers as a patriotic superhero, able to counter the menace of the Red Skull as a counter-intelligence agent. He was supplied with a patriotic uniform of his own design ,a bulletproof shield, a personal side arm, and the codename Captain America, while posing as a clumsy infantry private at Camp Lehigh in Virginia. While there, he formed a friendship with the camp's teenage mascot, James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes.

Barnes eventually learned of Rogers' dual identity and offered to keep the secret if he could become Captain America's sidekick. During their adventures, Franklin D. Roosevelt presented Captain America with a new shield, forged from an alloy of steel and vibranium, fused by an unknown catalyst, so effective that it replaces his own firearm. Throughout World War II, Captain America and Bucky fight the Nazi menace.

In late April 1945, during the closing days of World War II, Captain America and Bucky tried to stop the villainous Baron Zemo from destroying an experimental drone plane. Zemo launched the plane with an armed explosive on it with Rogers and Barnes in hot pursuit. The pair reached the plane just before take off. When Bucky tried to defuse the bomb, it exploded in mid-air. Rogers was hurled into the freezing waters of the North Atlantic. Both are presumed dead,

Years later, the superhero team, the Avengers discovered Steve Rogers' body in the North Atlantic. After he is revived, they piece together that Rogers has been preserved in a block of ice since 1945, surviving because of his enhancements from Project: Rebirth.

Rogers accepts membership in the Avengers, and his experience in individual combat service and his time with the Invaders makes him a valuable asset. He quickly assumed leadership and has typically returned to that position throughout the team's history.

While with the Avengers, Rogers reunites with his old war comrade Nick Fury, who is similarly well-preserved due to the "Infinity Formula". As a result, Rogers regularly undertakes missions for the security agency S.H.I.E.L.D., for which Fury is public director. Through Fury, Rogers befriends Sharon Carter, a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, with whom he eventually begins a romantic relationship.

In the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks, Rogers revealed his identity to the world and established a residence in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York,

From there, Captain America proceeded to assemble the Avengers Unity Squad, a new team of Avengers composed of both classic Avengers and X-Men.

I like She-Hulk but you play who you are comfortable with.

Also, I see we have a Captain. HEY!!! :P

Bowen

Hmm...based on that. I think I may be switching out Torch for Hyperion

VoluptuousVixen

I think one hero is enough for me for now. Otherwise we get crowded with too many characters.

Lady Kitsune

Finally done. I will post hopefully today.

Hero Name: Psylocke
Legal Name: Elizabeth Braddock
Origin of Powers: Psylocke’s original telepathic powers were unlocked by Dr. Synne. In her original body she was half Otherworlder, she is currently in the Kwannon’s Japanese body. The powers she had gained were lost after her fight with the Shadow King. Psylocke did undergo a power upgrade after her resurrection and mind swap with Jean Grey.
Age: 24
Sexuality: Heterosexual but then that never stopped her from whatever she wants.
Description: Lithe and athletic. Beautiful Asian with dark purple hair.

Powers:
Telekinesis: Ability to psionically manipulate and control the physical aspects of reality. She can also move and levitate other people.
Force Fields: Psylocke can create a telekinetic shield of all sizes to deflect/decelerate incoming attacks.
Telekinetic Weapons: Can construct psionic weapons for either physical or mental damage. Raw psi energy blasts.

Telekinetic Katana: Psylocke can manifest a telekinetic katana blade composed of raw psi-energy at will, which at its lowest intensity, functions to disrupt neural pathways and at its highest level, her katanas can slice an armored opponent and cut through the armor, but leave the attacker physically unharmed. She can also use her swords to shatter telepathic power-inhibitors imposed on others. Psylocke's telekinetic manifestations produce visible radiance in the physical world. Thus, she can use her psychic katana as a makeshift light source in areas of darkness. Her telekinetic katana is strong enough to harm other beings more powerful than herself.

Telekinetic Crossbow: As of late, Psylocke has been showing even more versatility when it comes to her psionic constructs. She has been seen creating psi-bows and arrows. She has created psi-crossbows with a rope attached bolt that allows not just her to swing on it, but other people as well.

Telekinetic Bow and Arrow: Psylocke has the ability to create a bow and arrow made of telekinetic energy that can pierce through armor or damage the target mentally or physically on contact.

Telekinetic Claws: As an extension of her psionic constructs she is able to create claws like X23's but made of pure psionic energy which can affect the target physically, and also to slice through armor.

Telekinetically Enhanced Condition: She can use her telekinesis to enhance her speed, strength, agility and other fighting skills to super-human levels inckuding fly but she usually chooses not to in combat..

Telepathy: (Please note that any controlling powers will only be worked on NPC's and or express permission of the other writer, otherwise may not be used at all for gaming purposes.)She possesses mental powers to affect and manipulate the minds of other sentient beings. Psylocke can read minds and communicate mentally with others over long distances. When she telepathically communicates with another person over a distance, that person often perceives her presence as a butterfly-like image bearing large eyes on its wings.

Telepathic Tracking: Enhanced psionic senses enable her to track other sentient beings by their unique psionic emanations (thought patterns contained in the psionic portion of the spectrum) especially if they pose a threat to her well-being in her immediate vicinity.

Psionic Shadow: She is able to mask her presence from others. Her abilities can go undetected and are very difficult to track, even by very powerful telepaths such as Shadow King. She can extend these defenses to others around her as well.

Psionic Knife: Described as "the focused totality of her psychic powers," by intensely channeling and focusing her psionic powers to her hands to create “psychic blades”, razor-sharp edges of pure mental energy which are said to be the ultimate physical manifestation of her powers which she plunges into the minds of her targets directly. She often uses them to disrupt the neurons of her foes by driving the glowing "blade" of mental energy into their skulls. It is able to kill.

Mind Control: Capable of controlling the minds of others.

Telepathic Illusions: She has the ability to create illusions to make herself seem to be invisible, look like someone else, or make others experience events that are not truly happening.

Telepathic Detection: She can scan large areas and detect threats in her vicinity. She can also detect the psyches of the inhabitants of a city to learn of their condition.

Mental Paralysis: Ability to induce temporary mental or physical paralysis

Mental Amnesia: Can erase any awareness of particular memories or cause total amnesia.

Psionic Blasts: Can project psionic force bolts which have no physical effects, but which can affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain, unconsciousness, or even death.

Psionic Immunity: Psylocke has been shown to have an immunity to certain psionic attacks such as mind reading and illusions.

Astral Projection: Can project her astral form from her body onto astral planes or the physical planes. In the astral plane, she can mentally create psionic objects and manipulate the aspects of her environment.
Precognition: Psylocke occasionally has precognitive dreams

Special Skills and Other:
Master Martial Artist: Psylocke has been classified as a master martial artist, though the specific fighting arts she has mastered have never been revealed. Presumably, as a ninja, she is skilled in various Ninjutsu techniques such as Taijutsu and Kenpo. Psylocke is also very well versed in the use of all Ninja weapons, stealth methods, silent movement, infiltration, concealment, escape & evasion, covert methods, Ninja espionage, and Ninja acrobatics.

Master Telepathic Combatant: As a telepath, Psylocke takes advantage of her powers in a fight by reading her opponents' movements seconds before they make them, giving her the opportunity to counter-attack faster, and she can also use her telepathy to mask her presence from other people, humans and super-humans alike. She also creates telepathic illusions to distract her enemies while fighting them and as a ninja, she uses her psychic knife to incapacitate her opponents without killing them, though she has less inhibitions about doing so and will if necessary.

Advanced Telekinetic Combatant: As a telekinetic, she often uses her powers to augment her strength and speed, which made her fighting skills so strong that she was able to match and even outmatch other superhumanly strong opponents.

Equipment: Psylocke currently carries a katana named Shurayuki. She can focus her powers to create a psionic Katana or a crossbow. Psylocke also carries pair of katana as well. Psylocke can kinetically charge weapons with psionic energy, when charged, her weapons glow purple.

History: (The super condensed version) Elizabeth had grown up with all the riches and privilege of the wealthy. Unbeknownst to her was her Otherworld lineage and one of her brother’s being Captain Britain. After her encounter with Dr. Synne her abilities were unlocked. She became a part of S.T.R.I.K.E. and later to help her brother, spent some time as Captain Britain.
After an altercation with Slaymaster, Psylocke went to the Alps to recover only to be kidnapped by Mojo who gave her cybernetic eyes. She later became a part of the X-Men. After using the Siege Perilous to help the X-Men she found herself on distant shores where she was found by the Hand. Her body was switched with Kwannon to save her and she became Lady Mandarin because of brainwashing. Wolverine restored her memories.

At one point, badly injured, she drank the elixir of the Crimson Dawn and gained shadow powers. With Cerebro’s help, she boosted her powers to fight the Shadow King who was imprisoned inside her. Then a duel between her and Vargas ended in her death only to be resurrected by her brother Jamie. She then then joined the Exiles and later returned to the X-Men.

Her most heartbreaking encounter was when she had to use the Life seed on her lover Archangel as he had basically become the new Apoclypse. With no memories, their relationship could not rekindle. Psylocke did receive a power boost after she and Jean Grey mysteriously switched powers and then back when dealing with the Red Queen. Psylocke was a part of X-Force and when it disbanded, later regrouped it after her issues with Fantomex. She later joined Magneto’s X-Men.

Psylocke knows she can never live a normal life or love and she is what she is. A weapon and it is her decision to be a hero. She may not be the golden hero that Captain America is because she walks the fine line between light and shadows.

Throwing in my card to join this Role Play with one of my favorite characaters: Kitty Pryde.

Player: keyotess
On/Offs: same as players

Hero Name: Shadowcat
Legal Name: Katherine "Kitty" Pryde
Origin of Power: Mutant
Age: 26
Sexuality: Lesbian

Description: Height: 5'3" with a small frame (yes wiki says she is 5'6", I always picture her being on the short side :) and Ellen Page is 5'1" so I split the difference and this puts her at a healthier weight), Weight: 110 lbs, Eyes: Hazel, Hair: Brown

Facename: Ellen Page

Phasing/Intangibility: Shadowcat possesses the ability to pass through solid matter and objects by passing her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which she is moving. In this way she and the object through which she is passing could temporarily merge without interacting, and each is unharmed when Shadowcat had finished passing through the object. This process is called "phasing." When Shadowcat is phasing, she is, for all intents and purposes, intangible. Hence, when attacked, she can shift into a "phasing" state (even if she is not at the time passing through an object) so as to allow oncoming projectiles or energy blasts to pass through her harmlessly. Shadowcat passes through objects at the same rate of speed at which she was moving before she "entered" it. Following her serious injuries at the hands of the Marauders during the Mutant Massacre,[80] Kitty's phased state became her natural state. She only remained solid by concentrating, and reverted to her phased state if that concentration was disrupted. After a number of years, she returned to her original tangible state.

Selective Intangibility: Allows others to become intangible and make other objects intangible by making them pass through other massive solid objects easily such as buildings, planes, and trains.
Partial Intangibility: Kitty can choose which parts of her body become intangible. She make one part of her intangible while leaving the rest of her body solid.
Elemental Intangibility: Allow elemental attacks to pass harmlessly through her such as water, fire, earth, air, energy, electricity, and even lightning.
Physical Disruption: Kitty can easily damage tangible matter by passing right through it.
Non-Corporeal Physiology: Kitty's intangibility abilities make her practically untouchable.
Air & Water Walking: Using her phasing/intangibility ability, Shadowcat can freely walk on both air and water. In fact, she could use her ability to walk on water and the air from the ground to the upper stories of a building as if she were climbing a staircase.
Phasing/Intangibility Extension: From the first use of her phasing power, Shadowcat was able to phase her clothing along with herself. Through practice she learned to phase other objects along with herself without harm to them, and at one point phased an entire X-Men team. She could also enable someone as big as Colossus to "walk on air" along with her. However, she had to maintain physical contact with the people or objects she phased along with herself for the effect to work with this other person or object.
Camouflage: Kitty can easily blend into the colors of her immediate surroundings and environments, practically making her invisible to anything seen to the naked eye.
Shadow Camouflage: Shadowcat can also become completely invisible and unseen in shadows.
Electronic Disruption: She could phase through any material object, even living people. When she phased through an object with an electrical system, the process disrupted the system's workings.
Telepathic Resistance: Her thoughts were highly erratic when phased as if there was no mind to telepathically affect.
Cloaking: Kitty can hide herself and others from any type of optical eyesight.

Abilities
Master Martial Artist: Shadowcat possessed moderate expertise of the martial arts of the Japanese ninja and samurai. Shadowcat demonstrated great knowledge of ninja methods of combat when she was mentally possessed by the Ronin Ogun. With the possession over, Shadowcat forgot the knowledge of ninja techniques he gave her, but she retained the knowledge of Japanese martial arts, as well as street-fighting methods taught to her by Wolverine.[84] She also knows Israeli Special Forces Training.

Dance Training: Kitty is trained in ballet and modern dance. She continued to take dance training under the tutelage of Stevie Hunter, and was highly agile.

Genius-level Computer Expert: Shadowcat was an expert in the field of computer science, demonstrating genius-level aptitude for programming, modifying, and diagnosing almost any computer system: even those of unfamiliar human and extraterrestrial origin. She used her skills in many high-stress combat situations to great effect, and in combination with her mutant ability to disrupt electrical systems she was a formidable foe for any enemy relying on advanced technology. She was on par with her former hacking partner Cypher whose mutant gift for languages granted him superhuman skill in the same field (albeit before he was consciously aware of his powers.

Multilingual: She speaks fluent Japanese, Russian, the royal and standard languages of the Shi'ar Empire, and Skrullos. She also has moderate expertise in Gaelic, and knows some profanities in Hebrew.

Strength level
Normal human with moderate regular exercise.

Weaknesses
Mystical Vulnerability: While phasing Shadowcat was still vulnerable to mystical attacks, however magic users like Scarlet Witch or Doctor Strange cannot affect her whilst Kitty is intangible.

Phasing Limitations: Since she was unable to breathe while "inside" an object, she could only continuously phase through solid objects (as when she traveled underground) as long as she could hold her breath. Denser materials were more difficult for Kitty to phase through, sometimes causing her pain. When phasing through Adamantium it makes her sick. Solidifying while in an object could cause serious injury if not death. As it is an active ability, if she can't see an attack coming, she can't phase through it, a fact that the mercenary known as Deadpool once exploited when he knocked her out (taking her by surprise) in order to provoke Wolverine into fighting him for his amusement.

History:
After Ragnarok Now events played out, Kitty Pryde had retired from superheroine and had gone back to Chicago and entered Chicago University to continue her degrees in Physics and Computer Science.  Although, Kitty was finding it hard to give up superheroine completely, she helped capture a campus rapists.  During a party, she kissed another woman and things started to make sense.  Later that night, she sat and examined her life, her relationships with the men in her life as compared to her relationship with Rachel, Illyana and Danielle, she realized that she connects with women much better than with men on a romantic level.  She was just dating men because it was expected of her.  She hasn't jumped into a relationship, her life still not settled and of course when Wasp approached her to join the Avengers, she couldn't resist going back to helping people by being a superheroine.
