xD I'm just working on Cammy, the character I'm planning on playing. She's... interesting... and Fires already knows a little about her. But she's gonna need not only a very interesting Carpathian, but a very understanding one. Also, I'm just particular about the kind of male play bys that attract my attention, so I'm looking at quite the possibility of my character not ending up paired up for awhile. xD

This looks really interesting.  I feel like I have a few books in this series, but for the life of me I can't remember.  I'm going to pick up the first book to read just for this game.

What was their past like? Did they all grow up in the same place? I haven't read the books so I'm not sure what the setting is like. I have read the info in at the beginning of this thread but it didn't mention anything of their pasts or their upbringings.

No, we are bringing them all to an area, not having them all live there, so like they would once this is over, return to their parts of the world with their lifemates. They were just asked by Mikhail to help in this area as Mikhail is one of the only ones who knows Maiya's secondary power, being the Prince.

The Carpathian history can vary from male to male, but most of them grew up in the Carpathian Mountains until the point where a Previous Ruler sent the unmated males out into the world to hunt down Vampires. Spreading the Carpathians out far and wide. So the past of your Carpathian, depending on age, can vary. I think the youngest, Canon, Carpathian males are the ones in the Troubadours Musical group... Carpathian's have more trouble making kids than the Fae... xD

Yep, you're right there SS, it was Mikhail's father that sent all the Carpathian males out, I believe his name is Vlad, not sure, memory hazy there But I do know that they have the De La Cruz brothers in South America, The Savages and a few others being attached to America it'self.

Hey sweet... also they are not going exactly by the books and using canon from them, they are flexing the world a bit but keeping to the basic idea of what a Carpathian is who they fight etc.. etc.. It's also a work in progress. As to having more trouble making kids.. blame the dam wizards... Oh and the new 'Santurary' will be very Carpathian like ... it may have taken 200 years but a new outpost of sorts has been crafted across the waters.. complete with its own cave system and crystals and healing earth. Only the weather here can really suck for Carpathians sunny like 300 days out of the year.. what were they thinking? They should have chosen Cleveland.

If I remember correctly, sometimes Carpathians ended up mated to jaguars. >.> Is that permissible?

It was a good several hundred years ago the males were sent out, if I remember correctly. They were spread all over the world, and this includes all sorts of countries. Actually gives me an idea for a male, that would be quite interesting to have around >D But I'll... forgo that for the time being. As that particular character has a twin brother, and they were nowhere near America or even Europe for most of their work... They were actually /born/ where their Father eventually settled after being sent off.

And Rog, trust me - I understand it's not exactly Canon, but even still Mikhail's father sent all of those males out. Fire seemed to confirm that. xD Even still, those males were sent out and spread across the world. How each Carpathian male grew up was based on how old they are. If they are over the age of 200 - chances are they were born in the Carpathian Mountains. If they were born after that (with none being likely any younger than 50 years) than they could have been born anywhere their father conceived them with his lifetmate. xD

Carpathians mating to Jaguars has only been discovered very recently. Even then they don't know if these mated pairs can actually produce children.
