I'm really getting tired of photobucket, there was a day once long ago when it had great utility, but thats a distant memory it seems. Now its an overexcess of ads and frustratingly sluggish contastly.

I have heard of a few others but I'm hesitant about moving over when I know nothing about it to be honest. Maybe that sounds silly of me, but does anyone have any recomendations?

I like Pinterest for regular pictures and use the Elluiki for smexy pictures.

The already mentioned options are great! Personally, I do like Mediafire for picture hosting. It's free and really easy to handle. There's folders you can create, too.

Personally I have my own hosting account and a couple of folders I load images into when I need to host them (or anything else).

I've actually been wondering what good options there are other than the Elluiki for adult pictures. I'd love something that's a little easier to organize once you start having a lot of pictures.

Postimage.org has been a decent one for those pics that are adult -- it does have folders, as well as the ability to designate 'adult' and non-adult images.

Scratch that -- I hadn't logged in to their site recently.  They had been a good host, but looks like they're undergoing problems that they may not be able to fix.

You want to avoid tumblr as well. Many of the sites that permit hosting sexual images are not safe for linking to E.

Why's that? I link to images from Tumblr all the time.

Things may have changed since this, but in addition, we do have issues with tumblr not performing due diligence in hosting underage models. Be mindful if you are hotlinking to pictures from tumblr.

That's definitely something to be careful about. You could host pictures for free on Tumblr (adult pics require marking your account as adult, IIRC).

I'm fairly sure Imageshack won't host adult content (I used to have a subscription).

This would require someone replacing their images - not terribly likely.

The only reason I would be skeptical of hosting on Tumblr is that its future is more uncertain than other major platforms.

You aren't quite using the correct url. Right click on the image itself, 'copy image address,' and that'll give you the correct link:

Also, use https when linking to imgur images (and other sites that support https), not http.
