This is just a suggestion, but it seems like a few people want some more depth to the intro.  I agree wholeheartedly with not wanting to let the intro/auction process bog us down, but maybe we can do a bit of a real time phase approach to give people a chance at the depth they're looking for.  As an example;

2 Real Life Days:  The last of the slaves are awake and find themselves in the dungeon.  Interactions with each other, the training you mentioned, escape attempts, etc can take place.  Meanwhile the Masters are en route from where ever they are, maybe reviewing a list of available slaves, considering their options etc.  They can arrive, meet each other perhaps, ask questions about the auction process if they're first time.

2 Real Life Days:  Inspection, the Masters can come down and see the slaves.  Within the rules of the venue, some interactions can take place as they review the available guys and girls.

3 Real Life Days:  The auction takes place, slaves up for grabs and Masters bidding and maybe competing with each other.

After the real life timeframe has passed you have to wrap up the last phase at the beginning of your next post and move on.  If that amounts to just an intro post each that's fine, but gives people a chance at more depth if they're online.  1 week after the RP starts the auction is done regardless and everyone moves on.

It's not so much having more depth to the intro, but the fact that having the characters all together for two months with nothing happening is totally unrealistic! If they were all kept in separate cells or kept caged up for that time, I wouldn't be objecting, but you can't expect a dozen or so people to be caged in one room with no interaction of any sort!

So they need to have all just arrived, or they need to have been kept separately...

I would imagine it would make more sense for them to have (mostly) arrived recently, and been kept in cells separate from each other. A complete blackout on information, about who is who, where they are etc. No sense of time in the dark cells, so it could be 1 day while it feels like a week. A good step to breaking them done for slavery.

I don't want to be a bitch here (that's Georgette's privilege) but honestly I could not make a decision yet. I incline to join Reyes' harem but according to the above comments I would like to know (in case still interested) what the other two gentlemen react on my silly concerns. This isn't a competitive tender, if you could just drop me 1-2 lines and tell me whether I misunderstood something please do so.

I just read a few of Aurelia's stories while I was doing background checks (for lack of a better term) on possible partners, and thought they were (mostly) well written and entertaining, O/Os be damned. My characters aren't me, so as long as they hit a couple of my favorites, who cares about the others? If Aurelia hadn't recommended you, I would still be sitting back watching the mayhem, and I'm perfectly happy to stay at that.

I'm a little bit concerned regarding this:

Does that include "Attempt to escape", "Try to beat the shit out of the guards" "Refuse to eat" "Find all sorts of things that can be made into a weapon" "Try and take the hose and turn it on the guards" "Lead a slave's revolt" "Deny being 'Spartacus'"...

Because all of those, except possibly the last one, are what Quinn will be doing!

I have the exact same concern. Two weeks is a lot of time and Lynne is sure to make several escape attempts in the mean time. I don't have the time to elaborate but maybe, in my introductory post I could mention her first (failed) attempt. Then she would spend the remaining time caged, cuffed and unable to do anything?

I'm sure it will slow down. Groups are always a bit fast in the beginning. You haven't missed anything pertinent. Just people sorting out slave and master connections. Also, there's some discussion on how the game should begin.

First though, I know the pairing is important, for those who do not have a partner yet. Could you try that in PM? Involve me if you need help :)

This bit is a bit important so I'd rather keep it free from pairing. But as I said, include me in the PM's if you need help :)


So the idea:

The slaves have arrived one or two days prior to the start of the auction. They are kept in seperate cells, without contact to each other. Upon arrival, pictures have been made and uploaded to the masters so the masters already have a good idea of what's what. There might be live footage as well?

I think, on second thought, Zaira and Rahma are the only two 'trainers' on 14 slaves. They might be good, they're not that good, not even in two months. So I think I'm going to drop the training and just sell the slaves as is. Scared, confused and a little rough around the edges. Just fed and cleaned.

I would like the auction to be one of the first things to do once the guests arrive in the castle. This way, you can all go your own seperate ways without having to wait for all the players to have responded. But with the pictures and the live feed, you'd know roughly who has your preference and who not.



Another option, a bit more complicated but it might work, is that we start a seperate thread where you/we play out all that is happening before the auction. A bit of a time warp so to speak. Those who are interested in playing out the intro more have the option to do so, while those who do not, can start perving in the normal game :)

I'll third that. I like the option of them having been kept isolated since arrival. If we wanted some interplay between slaves, there could always be time when they're masters aren't at that mansion, or they're not with them for whatever reason, and that could give an opportunity for it.

History threads can be very useful. As long as you label the times and such, then I see no issue with a thread that can have scenes taking place before the current time frame.

I like the first option also. Also to have the slave auction offering the merchandise as is. Detailing all the training of a group of slaves would take a bit of time and some of the Masters might be "do it yourselfers" and want to do the training themselves. Anyway, just my thoughts, looking forward to starting this story.

This sounds exactly what I'm looking for, Reyes is the kind of guy who would probably form a perfect match to Georgette (and myself), even if he happens to be a man. I also like the possibility to be enslaved and treated together with some other girls including my old acquaintance Aurélie. At the same time well understood that you reject to interact with male players so getting into this group is possible only if Georgette will be exclusively Reyes's slave.

Cool.  I'm willing to play male NPC characters getting a piece of Georgette and Lynne.  Other male characters are very much a possibility.

I don't want to be a bitch here (that's Georgette's privilege) but honestly I could not make a decision yet. You can make two characters, if you want to play opposite two different masters.

well, personally I think the slaves should arrive a bit more than a few days before the auction. Some slaves like my Mizuki was purposely sent there to be trained. Besides, if the slaves are to be forced on stage to be auctioned anyway then they have to be AT LEAST a bit broken since you can't force someone who is completely wild to follow any order no matter how small. So, I propose 2 months of training before auction. Enough for willing slaves like Mizuki to complete her training while the rebelious ones can remain rebelious but enough obedience to AT LEAST able to be forced with enough threat.

Rather than live feed, list of slaves to be auctioned would make more sense. The list can be a fax print out or email and contain the slaves picture, physical statistics, and their attitude as well as parts of training completed.

Anna will definitely not be broken, but she'll be smart about her defiance. She will have gotten emotional and angry at times, fighting when touched or provoked...but she would preserve her strength and bide her time to try and plan the perfect escape.

But she will be a snarky and defiant little thing.

If we are being realistic about it I think a live feed over an encrypted network is better as it doesn't leave a paper trail leading to the Masters.
