Youtube embedding?
« on: November 06, 2013, 01:15:55 PM »
Is it just me, or are linked videos (such as YouTube) no longer automatically embedding since we switched to https?   Is there a BB code tag to force an embed, just like there's one to force it NOT to embed?

Code: [Select]
[noembed][url=www.link.com]linkylinklink[/url][/noembed]

Is the YouTube URL https? I've found it'll embed if I trim the "s", but will just be a link if I leave it in.

Does it still embed if you use the 'liked' 'share' link below the YouTube video, rather than the URL? :-\

And you don't want to embed it without the S, or you're poking a nice big hole in the security of https.

Scratch that. I just tried it both ways & it worked both times.
