I'm paying my own way through school but on government loans. Eventually it will come back to me but hopefully I will have a job that will make those payments worth while.

Have you searched through http://www.fastweb.com ? They are legit, according to the career councilor at the high school where I teach. That's the only one I recall off the top of my head, but I can likely tap her on Monday for more sources if you like.

If you haven't looked into it already, I suggest FAFSA.

It saved my butt from getting student loans while I attended college, paid for all my books, classes, and I got a decent refund check during the middle of the semester.
