Besides, with Juggtacular's dibs on 'Infiltrator/Stealth/Assassin' type you're going to find a lot of people stumped because that covers nearly every role in Spec Ops. So unless someone else has privately messaged you, i haven't seen anything regarding a sniper.

From the recruitment thread. Nobody can call dibs on anything. The sniper character was discussed privately. Juggtacular's call of an archetype is a call of something he would like to write. But it does not mean he will be writing it. I am accepting CS's case by case. If two people apply for the same concept, they can do.

However later today I will be posting the CS thread and OOC because two concepts are approved. As it happens one of those is a sniper.

The decision was made maybe an hour ago. I had other posts to write before I put up the CS thread.

I was not aware you were working on this concept. I replied to you as soon as you mentioned you were interested in writing a sniper character and clarified that primary role was taken.

I have to insert my opinion about this statement, but.. in truth, if you think out of the box, there are other roles other than just being an infiltrator, stealth or even assassination. Sun also mentioned that in the thread that it's not first come, first served basis. In the first post, Sun even mentioned other potential roles your character could take. You just have to think out of the box, really.

Most of this was stated in the beginning, I even had questions I misread. But in the end most of this was all displayed for us to see.  There are other "roles" to play as Sun said. I've been tossed between a Pilot or a heavy arms specialist.  Leaning more towards heavy arms.

Duo Maxwell was my favorite, Death scythe was the best!!!! Odly enough I want to model my character after the gundam death scythe .

His suit ability could be that he lifts that cloak and it's just weapons everywhere. Free fire mode. For x amount of time he has infinite ammo or something lol.

Update:

The approved characters and taken faceclaims lists have been updated. I am no longer looking for any characters with the primary role of Sniper or Technician, or any characters who use either an Athena or Apollo AI.

Update to the last update:

There's a few people looking at infiltrator type characters at the moment with some crossover.

I'm overall lacking male character concepts. If anyone is interested in making a male character with a piloting/driving/vehicular expertise that would be the most ideal thing right now.

Another update. Two people have withdrawn interest.

Need two more characters. At least one of them needs to be male but I am willing to accept a female concept again.

Not looking for leaders, snipers, heavy weapons users or technicians. Not looking for Zeus, Apollo, Athena or Poseidon AI's. Not looking for armour features like heavy explosives, flares, shields or invisibility.

I would love to find a pilot/vehicular expert type character.

A medic-type would be a reasonable idea for another.

I would also be open to a more general 'soldier' with a slightly jack of all trades/master of none skillset.
