SO. FREAKING. GUILTY.

Not guilty. I'm still taking a vacation from work, so the weekend is much like any other day, except that my housemates are all home all week. There's no football game this week (Undefeated #1 ranked Ducks are in a Bye Week before next weeks matchup with the Washington Huskies) and I'm going to need to complete some rather unpleasant chores I've been avoiding for weeks. But at least I'll have some time for writing, and maybe I can actually get my D&D game off the ground.

TNP also has an unpleasant chore they've been putting off.

TNP still hasn't done their vacuuming.

I am waiting for an email from my doctor, but I guess I'm not guilty technically.

TNP is prepping to cook a turkey.

We're doing Thanksgiving with my Dad this year, and AFAIK, only my sister is coming down, so it's gonna be just the three of us. Dad purchased a ball of already cut meat shaped roughly like a turkey that only needs to be heated up in the oven, as I understand it. We did this last year too, and it was actually really good and way, way easier than cooking a turkey ourselves. So not guilty on two counts. No cooking of a Turkey this year, and even if there was, not my job.

TNP is going to be eating leftovers for several days after Thanksgiving is done.

Not guilty for American thanksgiving. Though my mom sent me home with a ton of leftovers for Canadian Thanksgiving. Are we past the statute of limitations on that one? >.>

Guilty. My best friend is a straight, white female. And since I'm a straight, white male, and we are good friends, people tend to assume we're dating. Doesn't help that we did date for six months back in my University days.

TNP is planning on getting a hair cut in the next 7 days.

Not guilty. Travel is both time-consuming and expensive.

TNP has been to at least three different continents in their life.

Guilty. I was in the Boy Scouts of America back in the day. Backpacked through Yellowstone as a matter of fact. (As well as various other wilderness areas in and around Oregon and Northern California.)

Guilty. I actually like my family (mostly) and I have many fond years of memories of the holidays. Sights, sounds, smells, the warm house illuminated against the dark and cold night. They can be stressful, no doubt, but on balance, the stress is worth it.

Seeing as it's been over five days without a response, I'll respond to myself. Not guilty. Not in a bad mood, but not in a good mood either. I'm just kinda blah today.

TNP thinks cranberry sauce should be shaped like a can.

Not guilty. I grew up with canned cranberry sauce and I don't think it's bad, but I greatly prefer the kind I can make myself with cranberries and orange zest.

The next person did some Cyber Monday shopping.

Not guilty. I looked at some of the deals, and I did buy a Hulu special offer, but aside from that, my money remains my own.

TNP is already tired of Christmas music.

Haha, am actually not.

But then, there has been very little in the way of Christmas music on the radio here so far.
I imagine that will ramp up in the two weeks to Christmas itself.

The next person likes the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Not guilty. I like the first one, but the phrasing was plural, so yeah, no. (The music is unquestionably awesome though.)

TNP secretly likes a movie or tv show they pretend to hate.

Not guilty. I am very open about the films/shows I like. I may be judged for my taste but I like what I like!

The next person loves pickles.

Guilty, but only dill pickles, not sweet. Dill pickles are a great, practically zero calorie snack. I'm gonna go get one now. You add all this sugar and sweetness to the pickles, not only are they now as caloric as a bowl of potato chips, they're also sweet and pickles shouldn't be sweet.

I don't mind pickles, but I am not crazy about them. Not going to look for them.

The next person is afraid of open water.

Not guilty at all. Even though I'm confined to a boat, I feel free on the open ocean.

TNP has never been sailing, but would enjoy trying it.
