Personality:

Fire to Merethe’s ice, Miranda is passionate and wears her emotions on her sleeve — something she’s been trying to curb as she’s grown in power as a witch. Prone to anxiety in general, she worries particularly about her physical appearance (less out of vanity than fear Merethe will lose interest in her) and goes to great lengths to stay in shape. Recently, she’s become interested in magic to slow her aging. Obsessive.

History:

The summoning was a bad idea. Not that Merry (nobody called her Merethe back then) was open to hearing what she had to say about it. The problem was Miranda liked Merry (liked liked her), and Merry knew and took advantage of it. Oh, sure, Merry liked her too, but not in the same way, and maybe not in any way that had to do with her as a person. Merry liked that Miranda’s parents were wealthy while her own mom (dad unknown) lived in a double-wide and cleaned motel rooms on the beach. More than that, though, Merry liked that Miranda did as she was told because if she didn’t, Merry would take away the one thing Miranda wanted more than anything else — Merethe's presence in her life.

So, Merry got her summoning and the power she’d craved. But it was like the story about the monkey’s paw — beware what you wish for because you just might get it. For all her fierceness (for all her thereness), Merry had been a teardrop to the ocean of the thing that poured into her.

At first, the thing had terrified her. Maybe it still did, but for reasons that had changed. Her unrequited love for Merry was returned now. But wasn't accepting that, basking in it, even, make her the same as Merry had been towards her — treating Merry as an object and not a person? Maybe if she’d helped her fight the thing inside her, Merry would still be here. But she hadn’t helped. And Merry was gone, replaced fully by Merethe.

Specialties

In excellent physical condition, though because of her sleight size and build, Miranda isn’t particularly strong. Her magic is at its most powerful when she has an item belonging to the person she’s casting on — the more personal, the better.

Haughty and chilly, she has the manners and frigid charm of the courtier she claims to have once been. Once you get past her reserve, she's quite the conversationalist, if never exactly warm. Is easily distracted by a lovely girl or handsome boy.

History:
A newcomer to Gotham (she only arrived six months or so ago), Maria Christiana (she insists on the use of both names by non-intimates) claims to be a bastard offspring of the Medici, raised at the fringes of the Court of Florence. Certainly her level of power is in line with her supposed age, but she always politely deflects if the topics of her birth or her Sire come up. This has led to a few rumors: that she's a European renegade, exiled for some crime, or that she's an aberration, a much younger vampire freakishly strong for her age and lying to cover it.

She's educated and enormously wealthy as befits her assumed era and paternity, and certainly she holds court, never seen in public without at least two lovely companions of either gender. Some are lovers, some are food, others are just people she's collected along the way. She's clever enough to not to try to adopt anyone truly famous, and when she feeds from any of them she does so very sparingly, and is very careful to make sure they have no memory of it when they finally part ways.

For the moment, she seems quite content to simply play in the City That Never Sleeps, writing and selling her terrible books, producing and selling her far better (if still somewhat average) paintings, and sleeping and biting her way through the entire population of attractive 20 and 30-somethings. A few people seem to think she's cautiously seeking a place of power among the night dwellers, but she insists this isn't the case.

Personal

Personality: Charlie tends to be the type to tell it like it is. While she will tend to sugarcoat it for friends and family, for those that she knows...and definitely for those that she doesn't like...she will be brutally honest. However, to be on her good side is to have a friend for life. She is fiercely loyal, and expects that loyalty in turn. Those that break her trust don't ever have to worry about it happening a second time, because she will never trust you again. Flirtatious when she wants, Charlie has been known to use her body to get what she wants...only when no other avenues work.

Hobbies:

• Hunting: While it sounds strange, Charlie does love to spend time in a tree-stand and simply waiting for game to come by. She's also damn good at it, thanks to her wolf senses.
• Singing: Something that people don't know about her is that she has a terrific voice. However, she doesn't sing in front of crowds, as there does tend to be a bit of agoraphobia in her...large crowds of people she doesn't know doesn't mix with her.
• Riding: Charlie has ridden horses since as long as she could walk. She has participated in Indian Relay more than a few times. While the challenge is immense, the thrill of the ride never gets old.
• Reading: A voracious reader, Charlie will pick up almost any book put in front of her. She has studied history deeply, and is working on her degrees in Native Culture and American History.

History: Born to parents on the Sioux Reservation in South Dakota, Charlie was given her name in hopes of being more accepted by white people who were not part of the reservation. She went to public schools off the rez, and had two sets of friends...those from school, and those from the neighborhood. None of the two groups ever met. While there were many reasons for this, the biggest reason was that the few close friends of hers on the Rez knew of her birth and her other tribe...the Great Plains Pack. It was something she hid carefully from the insulated white folks that she went to school with.

Reservation life isn't easy, and Charlie knew that she didn't want to stay. Never mind the fact that there was really nothing to do in South Dakota. She also knew that in order to get off the rez she needed to keep up with schooling. She worked hard, yet at the same time never stopped enjoying tribal activities. From the time she was eleven until she left at age 19, Charlie participated in the Indian Relay, even coming close to winning with her team a few times.  It was because of this, along with the fact that she was smarter than the average bear, that she applied and got a scholarship for Columbia University in New York City.

Having worked hard to get her Associates, Charlie now works towards her bachelors in American History. While it's not easy finding a program with a focus on Native studies in New York, Charlie is still making it work. Having reached out to the New York pack...both to announce her presence and see what their Pack Life is like, Charlie is hoping to make New York a new home for her. She has no desires to go back to South Dakota, knowing that there is nothing for her there except possible starvation and  being poor.

Specialties

There isn't much use for her specialty in the big city, but Charlie is able to track just about anyone and anything. With enhanced senses comes the ability to pick out single scents, and she is able to tell things about people that can't come from just the eyes. From scent alone Charlie is able to deduce when the last time someone ate was and what they had, she can figure out a species (were[wolf, tiger, panther], human, fae, or vampire only at this point). She can shift on command, though on a full moon that choice is taken away from her. She also has similar strength to Rebecca Roberts, being able to deadlift 400lbs.

Outside Jobs: Charlie was quick to learn that you can find anything in New York City. And so she found her niche working as an intern for the New York Times. When not at school or at work, Charlie tends to spend extra time at the Metropolitan Equestrian Society, helping the rich learn how to sit correctly and doing things like dressage.

@Jag ,  I know the wiki's say that tigers have no control over their shifts, once they're grown, but for game purposes could a character have at least some control? I'd expect her to still need to shift with the moon, but being able to control herself while shifted, or able to shift at will in cases of emergency, would simply be useful. :)

If you prefer to stick closer to the wiki, that's fine...just thought it was worth checking on as I work on a sheet.
