CHARACTER NAME: Inácio Marcelo Araújo Sousa
GENDER: Male

OCCUPATION: Bank teller (Former taxi driver)
LOCATION: Florianópolis, Brazil

APPEARANCE: Inácio, as depicted in the picture, only wears shirts and ties when he goes to work. Usually, he can be seen wearing plain grey t-shirts and jeans. He prefers to keep his hair short and his face shaved. Due to a car accident, he needs the aid of a wheelchair to navigate through life. His body is nothing to gawk at, as his muscles are not toned and he bears some body hair in the pectoral area.

PERSONALITY: Ever since he was a child, Inácio (or Nacio, as he was always called) has always been a listener rather than a speaker. Not because he does not like talking; in fact, it is sometimes his job to bring bad news to people, whether it would be friends, family, or customers. But picking up what the other person is saying and react accordingly to get the result you want is something not everyone can do.

Besides that, Nacio tries to be as active and as optimistic as possible even if his job and condition hinder his mood sometimes. Of course, it is not always easy, and at times depression reemerges from the corners of his mind to haunt him.

ABILITIES AND SKILL-SET:

• Memory: Inácio is good at remember conversations, articles, or even snippets of gossip he casually hears on the streets or anywhere else. Perhaps too good for his own sake.
• Driving skills: as a former taxi driver, Inácio knows how to navigate through streets and traffic whenever he is at, in spite of location and weather. However, since he has not driven in so long, his skill is rather rusty at the beginning.
• Cooking skills: As a result of his upbringing, Nacio has learnt to cook for his siblings and sometimes for his parents when he was still a kid.

WEAKNESSES:

• Disability: Living in a society that is not built to cater people with disabilities is a weakness itself.
• Stubborn: Inácio cannot fathom the idea that other people should go out of their way to help him. He will try to do something by himself and will not rest easy until he has done so.
• Submissive: Due to his nature, Inácio is not good at asserting his presence or opinions, and prefers that others take control of the situation.

BACKGROUND: From a very early age, Inácio's parents made sure to ingrain the importance of hard work in their children's brains. His father worked two jobs and his mother had to take care of his sick grandparents, so Nacio, as the eldest of three siblings, was left with the job of bringing his own siblings up. With only 8 years old, Inácio taught himself how to make beds, clean the house, and, with some help of course, even how to cook and how to change a diaper. Because of this, his childhood was somewhat lacking when it came to friendship and relationships outside the family core.

Under this circumstances, Inácio became a very submissive and enabling person, always catering to other people's needs and staying in the background rather than under the spotlight. He never really made a big enough impression to anyone, and even though he remembers them perfectly, some people are still unsure whether he was at a certain place at the time. This sort of invisibility lasted until he became a taxi driver, and until the accident happened.

As soon as he finished secondary school and he got his driver's license, Inácio took a job as a taxi driver for a private company. It was an easy job for him given that he only had to take people to places, with the occasional traffic jam hindering him. It also gave him some Independence, both financially and emotionally. To him, that was the first time he felt that he actually living his life.

But, one day, a truck appeared out of nowhere, at a crossroad, and severely injured Inácio, while his passenger was only given superficial wounds, though that did not stop them from suing the company. Inácio was fired and, to his dismay, put in a wheelchair for life.

Six months passed from the incident and Inácio was unemployed, sunk into depression and with no ambition. Until his younger brother, who once depended so much on him, fixed an interview for him at a local bank that was looking for tellers. That did not cure his depression, though it has helped him cope by keeping his mind occupied.

CHARACTER NAME: Dillon Thomas Warren
GENDER: cis-Male
AGE: 25 - born Jan 1st, 1992, 00:00 GMT (Local time in Chicago - December 31st, 1991 7pm)
SEXUAL PREFERENCES: Demisexual
OCCUPATION: Paper boy (former Fire Fighter; former soldier)
LOCATION: Weston, Wisconsin

APPEARANCE: Dill's about as vanilla as they come as far as appearance goes. He has no tattoos or piercings to speak of and the rowdiest part of his looks comes when he's lazy enough to let his hair grow much past the top of his ears. However, his lower back and left side are riddled with gnarled burn scars. He tends to dress in business casual unless he's at the gym or at home and takes care to cover up so no one asks too many questions.

PERSONALITY: Nearly everyone who knows him would not hesitate to describe Dillon as a "nice guy." He's dependable, personable and genuinely kind. He is also quiet and unassuming and doesn't usually go out looking for social interaction so he tends to get overlooked a lot. He feels a need to give to society and not be a burden but it has become more and more difficult since he came back from his service over seas.

ABILITIES AND SKILL-SET:

• Firearms - particularly rifles and grenade launchers.
• Knowledge of demolitions and fire safety methods and equipment
• Basic self defense.

WEAKNESSES:

• PTSD - Dillon has acute post traumatic flashbacks and crippling anxiety when one of his triggers is struck. He also suffers from a complete lack of sexual desire or arousal at this time.
• Nervous Ticks - He will repeatedly wink an eye or twitch the right side of his face when nervous. This makes lying particularly difficult because he has a lot of respect for authority figures.

BACKGROUND: Dillon had it pretty easy growing up. His family was upper middle class and he had friends and a variety of experiences in his youth. The Warrens had a long-standing tradition of firefighting going back several generations. After graduating from high school it seemed only natural that he would go into it since he had picked up so much knowledge over the years. But he was restless and wanted to do something else for a while so he enlisted in the Army and figured it wouldn't do much harm to serve out a term and see how things went from there. Unfortunately he was badly injured in an explosion that left him scarred even after months of skin grafting. He received a Purple Heart and an Honorable Discharge but found that he was not able to integrate back into society afterward. Firefighting should have come easy but it brought on terrifying visions that had him acting out dangerously. So he pulled away from family and got his own little apartment. He wouldn't allow himself to be a burden on society but he found that late-night paper routes were the only thing he could get through since he could work alone and take his time.
