Definitely the best math student at Holy Question Mark—she took AP Calculus in 9th grade and is now up to independent study in things like partial differential equations and complex analysis. Likewise, if there's anyone who's better with computers they're hiding it.
It is possible that she is friends with William. She has been seen consulting quietly with him from time to time, at least. Mostly she ignores him, though, just like she ignores everyone else who doesn't get in her way. (Those who do get in her way receive varying degrees of glare, starting at "why are you even here" and ranging upward to "may you slip in a puddle of bone cancer and die in extreme pain over the course of about six months" and beyond.)
There are no indications that she has had a romantic or sexual connection with anyone at the school. No one knows enough about her to guess whether there's someone at home.
She does not receive care packages, but seems to have enough money to get by. It helps that she doesn't spend any money on snacks—she is a strict vegetarian and calibrates her food intake carefully. A nosy watcher might guess that she is recovering from an eating disorder.
