Bella has black hair that falls to a few inches below her breasts and chocolate brown eyes that usually tell people how she's feeling /what she's thinking, if said people know her well enough. Her measurements are 36c-23-37 and her derriere is pretty well-defined without being too big. She has two tattoos. 1) a black and gold fleur de lis on her inner left wrist (it's just a coincidence that she's a Saints fan. 2) an albino python whose head starts right beneath her right breast and wraps around her torso to end at her right hip.
Personality
Bella can be outgoing and friendly, the kind of girl who never meets a stranger. She's intelligent, loves to laugh, and is somewhat easily amused. Generally, a happy person but is known to have a bit of a temper. It takes a lot to make Bella snap though. She can be slightly moody, but she's rarely a bitch. She withdraws a bit and is uncharacteristically quiet when something's wrong with her. Her sexual proclivities are an opposite of what people would imagine she'd like.

History
Bella grew up in a happy little white picket universe with her parents and two older brothers. Her mom was a Louisiana native and her dad had lived in New York before meeting Bella's mother. Her parents had let her explore her creativity and interests freely and she'd taken piano, acting, and voice lessons growing up. They were less supportive of Bella being around her maternal grandmother as the woman wanted to immerse her granddaughter into the world of voodoo. The girl had had some interest in it and was starting to show some potential when her parents effectivly nipped that in the bud, they had forbidden her to see her grandmother.
Bella had discovered when she was a teenager that she liked girls just as much as she liked boys, maybe even a little more. She'd entered into a relationship with her best friend and when she was sure that she was absolutely in love with her girlfriend, Bella told her parents. It wasn't well-received, at first, but eventually her family had accepted that it was something that was going to change. They gave their daughter their blessing before she left for Juilliard after graduating from high school.
She and her girlfriend had decided to attend different colleges and they had tried to keep up their relationship, but the distance had proven to be too much. They broke up not long after their sophomore years began. It had devastated the 19 year old Bella and she'd thrown herself into her studies. She graduated ahead of time and was back in New Orleans by her 21st birthday. She'd studied music production, as well as well musical theatre and dance at Juilliard, and she was pretty good at it so it wasn't hard for her to find gigs as a dj at local parties. It made okay money, but wasn't what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
The dj thing introduced Bella to the world of partying and sex. She's made up for her slight sexual inexperience in the past year with a whirlwind of lovers, both male and female. Bella has calmed down a lot, but still likes to have fun.
She doesn't have a regular job, just takes gigs whenever someone needs a dj, but she's looking for something. Maybe bartending, doing the music, hell, she'd even settle for dancing in one of the clubs on Bourbon Street. It could be fun. She's open to there being a supernatural world, actually hopes the creatures and things that she learned about from her grandmother actually do exist.
