By the way Ultha, that was me making a Listen check to hear Layla struggling for help, if you're rolling things behind the scenes.

Hey, anyone want a Tibbit Battledancer/Scout?  Is there still room?

Yes still lots of room especially with a few of my players going missing.

Edit: there's no more healer, so if anyone wants to make a healer of some sort that would be good.

Okay.  I'll go ahead and take the Cleric then.  Something Cleric/Warmage.

You don't have to. I was just saying that for in anyone else that wants to join. Make your Tibbit Battledancer/Scout like you want to.

Which characters are still there and which have gone missing?

I could roll up a Gestalt character.

A healer and a fighter type went missing, and we gained a fighter and a rogue type. Other than that there is a Wizard/Duskblade, Barbarian/Psion, and a Bard/Rogue. Also in the original thread I said any published by wizards is fine, just so you know Glyphstone just made a Knight/Crusader .

During weekdays I can post daily. I can't guarantee the same during all weekends.

I got a raid in a bit. I doubt I can fix my character before then, but I could fix it after.

What alignment are you looking for?

Is there a sumup for character generation rules?

alignment, don't care just remember that the world will react negatively to evil and illegal actions.

Anyway, Level 6 gestalt, stat gen roll 7d10 and drop the lowest then add 8 to each roll, or 36 point buy players choice.

7d10, drop the lowest, add 8? That would give me scores in the 40-50 range. I must understand you wrong.

Edit: NM, it's 7 times 1d10+8, and then drop the lowest, providing me with scores ranging from 9-18, netting me an average of 14.5.

I think I'll go with that and see what I end up with.

Roll ID   Owner ID   Time Rolled   Roll Summary
21463   Xillen   2011-01-10 11:08:27   At 2011-01-10 11:08:27, Xillen (uid: 1202) rolls: 1d10a8 Result: 13

So 18, 15, 15, 13, 13, 12, probably knocking a 15 to 16 at level 4.

One question, will you allow psionics and dragon magazine? cause I have a mental armory i would like to bring into the game.. and gastalt means he can bring a lot more to the table.

Oh damn! That was exact concept I had in mind! A ultimate figther tank :P.

Also as Xillen is making the cleric it makes now 5 party members rigth? So far it seems folks are quite melee heavy and one is devoted arcanist, other is cleric, one use psionics and bard is kinda weird mix but has all scoundrel factored in thanks rogue side.

I roll stats and see what I could make up for 'wild card';

At 2011-01-10 11:19:32, Zaer Darkwail (uid: 14) rolls: 1d10a+8 Result: 9
At 2011-01-10 11:19:19, Zaer Darkwail (uid: 14) rolls: 1d10a+8 Result: 14
At 2011-01-10 11:19:10, Zaer Darkwail (uid: 14) rolls: 1d10a+8 Result: 13
At 2011-01-10 11:18:57, Zaer Darkwail (uid: 14) rolls: 1d10a+8 Result: 17
At 2011-01-10 11:18:47, Zaer Darkwail (uid: 14) rolls: 1d10a+8 Result: 15

At 2011-01-10 11:17:53, Zaer Darkwail (uid: 14) rolls: 1d10a+8 Result: 12

So, stat range is (when lowest dropped off); 17, 15, 15, 14, 13 and 12.

Now, would GM be okay if I make a fey'ri (faerun specific 'tiefling elf' subrace) ranger/arcane archer sorcerer? As specifics I want use pathfinder class featured arcane archer instead core one, as it's more balanced and overall better without being too OP I think. Link to it; http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/arcane-archer .

Also additional; plan use races of wild elven ranger sublevels instead normal ranger levels. Mostly to get a cooshie (pic from one; http://s996.photobucket.com/albums/af84/Kazzaroth_photos/Game%20pics%20one/?action=view&current=ElvenHoundbyLarryMacDougall.jpg&newest=1 ). A magical beast which is actually just big strong dog with little extra traits to make excelent runner and some elf alike qualities.

Anycase build would be;
Sorcerer 5/Arcane Archer 2
Ranger 5/fey'ri template+2

Zaer, your race, substitution levels, and cooshie are fine. As for the pathfinder if you want to switch the Enhance arrows version from 3.5 to pathfinder I'm fine with that, but you won't be getting the extra Spells per Day.

Can I ask reason why you do not allow the spells cast per day increase with the PrC? It has unformula structure; it gives only +7 more CL in 10 levels. But if your not okay give full BAB progressing PrC almost full CL progressing how sounds if we change it so you progress in each pairless level in the PrC? Meaning +5 total CL progress. So far as I know all classes which ask specific CL also give progress in splatbooks and such. Or plain own spellcasting progression with own lists and such.

Anycase reason why I liked Pathfinder version is because it takes into account that in single classed progress (non-gestalt) by the time you qualify you do not know much at all area effect spells besides 1lvl ones. So for 10 levels the only spell what arcane archer would use would be obscuring mist and burning hands? Not much for 'legendary' archer if asking me consider most rest special stuff is limited by daily stuff. With 'half CL' progress you can eventually reach to cast some more better area spells (like fireballs or fiery burst if take other sources). Ofc in benefit for gestalt I can take 5 levels of sorc before entering the PrC so I can send fireball through my bow on target. Why? Well, if you want fireball inside a stronghold with locked doors and windows but you see target with clairvoyance then imbue arrow fireball with phase arrow is very nice way blast people up inside buildings......

Anycase waiting your reply regarding reduced CL, consider this is gestalt at all so the present CL may be bit too much. But if you disagree then I could take sorc levels along with arcane archer then to get needed caster level to launch spells (just instead knowing spells as 6 lvl sorc I know them 5 lvl instead in start until I get level).

Yeah, basically the added spells per day makes the class too much for gestalt, but you can still take levels of sorcerer with arcane archer.

Hmm, I didn't realize there was already a Crusader. I'll switch to Paladin/Cloistered Cleric of Pelor.

If we're taking a template that adds a level adjustment, does that affect both or just one class?

Just one

Make that an Aasimar Paladin/Cloistered Cleric of Pelor

Here is my char;

http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=239226

As side notes; I know I am slightly over 13K budjet for 6th level char, but I beg little leeway as a lot cash sinked to my arrows and I do not want waste them so I got quiver of ehlonna keep my precious arrows recoverable. But if you do not approve I could get rid of the quiver and buy some potions (or reduce my armor enchant by one and suffer 10% spellcasting failure). Second sorcerer class from core book is very dread barren empty for features. So if you allow I picked sorcerer from Pathfinder, with abyssal bloodline (suitable for fey'ri sorcerer have that bloodline). But if not I will edit my charsheet but ask would you okay house rule sorcerers get at least eschew materials as bonus feat in first level? It makes much sense with their class anyways.
