On an unrelated note, the Tarrasque is in the first monster manual, right?

If I didn't know any better, I'd say that sounded like a threat!

Oh well.  So long as you make it interesting.  XD

After much deliberation, checking and rechecking of books, finagling around with possible builds and skills, I think I've finally settled on a character concept that should prove quite fun!

Berma the Heavyhanded

Mostly fighter, with a few other surprises thrown in.   ;)

By the way, are we allowed use stuff from the Mongoose "Quintessential" books?

I've read a few things in there not very balanced, so I would prefer that you didn't.

Yes...some of the stuff can be quite imbalanced, especially the Quintessential Samurai, very imbalanced indeed.

Geez, I had to do a double arcane caster, and I was still faster at making her then everyone else. You cannot get anymore complicated then double arcane! You saw my spell list, its two pages long!

Would you mind stopping with the pictures? There's like 9 pictures of your character up now and they're all in a separate post. Its practically spam at this point.

Does it even matter? This is the interest thread for the game. Once I post the ooc/character thread you won't need to look at this thread ever again. Also I don't have a problem with her posting multiple picture of her character. With seeing all those pictures, I now have a pretty good image of her character in mind, so it's a good thing.

Just a slight suggestion:  Perhaps Nicci could edit the posts now that we've seen them and turn them into url links?  Not that the pictures aren't nice to look at, but they do tend to clutter things just a bit.

Well I have to look at the thread now, and I think we all got a good idea what she looked like 5 pictures ago. I'm not asking anyone to stop posting at all, but remaining images can be put up as links so if people want to see they can just click the link. Anyone still interested can still see the pics, and the rest of us don't have to see additional images of the same character every couple of posts.

Edit: Precisely as Shihong says. Nicci, this isn't supposed to be an attack on your or anything, I'm excited to finally get to start into a D&D rp with you (we're still waiting on FF's game to start :P)) but all the images are just getting to be a bit much.

I'm just bored and waiting for something to happen. I also like to share when I can, nothing wrong with that now is there? Also it is just good fun to tease people with individual pics when I can just do this:

Alright no more waiting. I've posted the other threads and you can start. Just don't go off and run into the forest yet, and keep the OCC chit-chat in here until people get their sheets posted. I want all the sheets to be on the first page.

Hey as DM I will make some of your rolls in secret it's just more fun that way. Example if someone is lying to you I will roll their bluff against your sense motive and only mention it if you win. This okay with everyone?

Makes perfect sense. Will you be handling all rolls? We just call what we want to do and supply what our modifiers are and leave the actual roll to you?

I probably will but if you know that your making the roll you can, like when your attacking, or identifying a spell that was cast
