Maybe I'm being a little ambitious.  I have one EX game going, and I have another sci fi game and now this that I'm trying to get started lol.  Ah oh well, I'll manage I think.  Due to some self imposed idiocy, I wasn't able to continue with the game of Persona that was already started by Miyr that is still going strong, so I thought I'd start my own to in a way celebrate my first, (FINALLY!) victory over P4 yesterday, but to also get my Persona fix at the same time lol.

Here's what I have as an introduction of sorts.  I am still working out the bugs for the Midnight Hour, Channel, whatever we go for, but I have a basic idea that it will be more P4 related than P3 since I know P4 the most.

Pain...blood seeping from a head wound....concussion perhaps?  Standing on shaky legs, the world spinning on its side, the young man who was no older than 16, 17 looked around him, put a hand to his head and bit back a small gasp as pain shot through his skull.  Pulling his hand away, he saw that there was a fair amount of blood on his fingers that was running down his hand.  It was bad, that much was certain.  Leaning heavily against a brick wall, inside some kind of building with no memory of how he had gotten there, the young man looked around as best he could in the dim light that filtered through a window that had either a thick layer of dust on it or a lot of cobwebs, he couldn't tell for sure from here.  His eyes opened wide though as he saw there was a blood red moon through the dust or cobwebs, and that it seemed to be dripping, or was that a trick of the weak light?  The room itself was ten by twelve, with only one way out from the look of it, that of a heavy iron door.  Stumbling to it, each step causing his head to throb a bit more, the young man got halfway across the room when he felt the air get cold, so very cold.  Turning around slowly, the young man only got a glimpse as the Shadows covered him, consumed him.  What was left of him when he was found that morning was a dead, soulless shell, cold to the touch and the face frozen in a mask of pure terror.  What was the worst part though was that the eyes were empty of anything, not even the fear that was so clearly etched on his face had ever touched the eyes....

Igor and other past Persona Users will be able to make appearances as NPCs at best, which I'll have the say on any appearances before hand, but I want all of us to use Original Characters.  Personas themselves can be ones used before or your own design, so long as you say what Arcana they are from.  I'll be providing links to whatever you guys might need, but while P4 dealt with 'truth' I think I'm going to be going for a different approach to things as far a theme goes, though what I haven't figured out completely yet.  Evokers, Cards, personal items, or something else I'll leave to your discretion, but I'm a fan of the Persona Cards myself lol.  School is going to be a big one, high school and this will be set in Japan like always, though I might need help with some of the customs and what have you is the only thing.  I know they go through the week except Sundays, but that's about all I know for sure.  Anyway, if interested, you know the drill.

I'm going to allow Personas to talk to their partners and vice versa, as well as other Persona Users, but other than that, keep them secret as much as possible.  It's going to be hard enough to live a normal life with what I have in mind lol.

I'm a fan of Persona, and would be playing a lesbian or (very unlikely, but possible) bisexual female character, at least the age of 18 (younger than that feels odd to me...)  I'll get to making up a character in a bit, and I hope we have more people interested.  Also, if you can inform me (or us, if you want it to be a public thing) as to the 'theme' to this Persona scenario, I would be able to better make a character with the appropriate and thematic depth for the setting.

I'm still having minor issues putting my 'theme' into words.  I know WHAT I want it to be about, just I'm not sure what the exact theme would be.  Also, thanks for showing interest Keelan and your character sounds alright for this.

I'm centering more on the Soul as a living entity of sorts.  You have the Persona which is the facade that you wear to deal with the day to day trials of life, you have Shadows that reflect your suppressed emotions and feelings, trying to get under your skin when you face them, and then you always have a big bad ass that is trying to destroy the world for some reason or the other lol.  The Soul, according to some, can be seen through the eyes.  The old saying is that the Eyes are the Window to the Soul, so what would happen if it went missing?  Your Soul carries who you are, what you are capable of, and what you might become as well as giving life to an otherwise empty shell of flesh and bone.  I hinted at what I plan to do through my introduction post at the top, but I won't reveal what i plan to do just yet with all that lol.  Anyway, the idea is a kind of what if scenario I guess, but as I said, I don't know what to name the 'theme' as exactly.

History; Zachery Dojima, a distant cousin of Detective Dojima from Inaba, is made to move to Japan since his folks are overseas.  Still, going to Tokyo, Japan is cool in his book, even if he's going to school with new people and all that.  Zachery has always been easily adaptable to numerous situations, and so life in a big city is no problem for him.  He's taken martial arts for quite some time, and so even if life did get him down, he has a way to release the stress and get his game together again.  Still, a very small part of his mind tells him that there might be trouble in the future, but how he knows this or where the feeling is coming from, Zachery has no idea.  Probably just nerves....

He might act calm and cool most times, but Zachery doesn't like the fact his folks are always dumping him on distant relatives and has asked repeatedly that they could be a family, like normal people.  Unfortunately that doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon.

Izanagi is a Japanese creation deity born of the seven divine generations in Japanese mythology. He is also known as Izanagi-no-mikoto, the "male who invites". He and Izanami created many of the islands and deities of Japan. When Izanami died, Izanagi tried to retrieve her from the underworld, but failed. He mistakenly looks at her while she in a rotting, monstrous state in the underworld, which shames her. She attempts to kill him, and swears to kill a thousand of his men a day. Izanagi claims that he will make sure that a thousand and five hundred will be born each day.

Mirrors have always been considered doors in some religions and parts of the world.  Seeing your reflection upon a surface of glass can be a nightmare to some, for they see what they hate the most, and that is themselves.  This is what I want to center of my Dark World to be about, reflection within a glass surface, but we can step inside said world the same as those in P4 did with their Midnight Channel deal.  I even found a good picture quite by accident to emphasize this point in what I wish to do.  So, I still need CS Sheets from Scya, Keelan, and at least two others if not three.

If you need any help, I will do what I can, but I ask that you make a solid effort to do this yourself though.  Personas are a reflection of your true self, not the part you try to keep suppressed or the part you show to the world, but a combination of the two in a way.  The person you know you can become at some level of your subconsciousness but cannot without help or the proper guidance to get there at any rate.  As such, you have to do this on your own unless you are stuck and can't proceed further kind of thing.  Besides, it helps me think of ways to torment the crap out of your PCs lol.

Also, your Arcana and your Personality don't have to match perfectly right off the back, nor do they have to for the majority of the game if you want to play that way.  So long as you grow into your Arcana of choice, I am perfectly content lol.  This game is about growth, some emotionally, others spiritually, and so on.  And so, life too is the same is that you never stop growing.
