I page through the Intro archives and Held intros periodically, and of course there's a lot of people held due to inactivity.  Is there an email that is sent to the address that they signed up under, or is the forum notice the only one they receive?

There's an automatic e-mail that goes out at the third of every month, like the one for inactive members on the fifteenth or birthday e-mails. I used to do it manually >_>

They eventually get purged from the list, which is what the 'expired' tag represents.
