D&D: Extras Needed!

Here's the thing, to keep things fresh I have been thinking about asking some people to come on board for temporary use in my D&D game, these people would be things like travelers who the group is escorting or others of that sort. It would mean low to no combat for you, but at the same time a chance to play along with the others in a colorful world. Most of the interactions would be character to character and as a DM I really won't DM those parts because I think that characters make the game what it is and make it more richly developed.

At the moment I have room for about three NPC types for players to take up.

* Two carriage drivers - of any gender

* Female Priest of Pelor

The carriage drivers would be doing just that, driving the carriage but could interact, the female priest is more of a needed thing. Pelor is the sun god and pretty much anything you need to know about him can be taught in five seconds. But at least part of your back story will be given to you but there will still be a lot of freedom. As for the carriage drivers they can be pretty much whatever than want.

I will update this first post when new slots are open.

I've had experience playing a Cleric of Pelor before, so I know the basics about him.  Are there any big differences I should be made aware of?

It's not really a Cleric its just a priest. As in there wouldn't be much magic and the like.

I know. ^^; When I said I'd played a Cleric of Pelor before, I just meant it as an explanation for how I know about Pelor.  I'm guessing the actual character you've got probably won't even be an Adept, right?

Well if you want to use Adept progression that's fine, I was trying to keep things where no system knowledge would be needed. But its okay if you already know. And really there's only one small detail I need to tell you and I will do that in PM.

Sounds like it will be fine for me, we've already started the trip, but neither of the drivers have spoken I don't think.
