So, I got this idea after watching Monster House. A group of teens decide that, at Halloween, they would explore an old, abandoned mansion that is turned into a haunted house. However, as they are having fun and goofing around, they forget what time it is, and are locked inside. Now, they have to work together to find their way out. Mysteriously, each member of the team dies off, or is captured, or dispatched in some way. Will the team find their way out of the mansion in one piece, or will they simply all be killed off, until one is left?

I'm not exactly sure where this roleplay will end up, or what kind of things will be included sexually, but that's really up to you guys. And the idea is still developing in my brain X.x; This is just to check and see if people were interested.

Okay, I am really intrigued by this idea.

As to the fact that they forget what time it is and are locked inside...are those things connected, like the place has functioning timed locks? Or do the doors become mysteriously, possibly supernaturally stuck at a certain time? Do their cellular phones all stop working? Etc?

That's exactly what I'm trying to finalize in the plot. ^^ But I like those ideas. I was thinking that the owner of the mansion might lock them in from the outside.

I like the idea of them being locked in by an apparently normal agency. It creates more room for doubt (and, hence, fear) if there are apparently supernatural happenings inside the mansion.

What would you consider to be your list of influences for this?

I do see that.

However, when taken in combination with your comments about the PCs being teenagers, and dying, I figured you were operating with a larger canon. I mean, haunted houses are a big genre.

Glad to see you're interested. I think we have a good balance of characters at the moment. I think maybe one or two more people, and we can start things off. I'm still thinking things over, however, so I might not start the actual thread until tomorrow.

Woot, we got ourselves another person! I believe we can safely say that we're in good shape to start. Before we do, however, I want to know what you all think the tag should be. What do you want to incorperate in the roleplay sexually? I'll tag the story based on your imput. ^^

I'll join in too if it's not too late :) I'm still working on getting my Final Destination RP going Risa but I need death paragraphs from a few people. If they don't respond by the end of this week a.k.a. Sunday (I'm sending out another PM today) then I'll just make up some deaths on my own and post the first post in the thread so we can get it going ^^

Anyone here want to join in there or no? You can find it in my signature link ^^

how about NC or something *shrugs* i figure that no one wants to be captured by ghosts or anything willingly...

Yes, I am most definitely agreeing with Kanrya. Whomever is captured could be not only killed, but an array of other things... and I'm doubting they'd do any of them willingly. Thus, wouldn't their be some villian, or like you said earlier, mansion owner? And comes another character to deepen the plot... I'm getting excited for this, RisaRisa!

Sorry, guys. I had the idea wrapped around my brain, and I just can't get it to go any further at the moment. >_<; Of course, it could be my idea under a different GM, with me making the opening thread, but I don't wanna put any of you through that ^^;

EDIT: On second thought, I'm going to sleep on the idea and get back to you guys tomorrow.
