Blood of the Dragon (Active big game!)

Hello, and thanks for looking! I am one of the GMs of Blood of the Dragon, and we have decided to see if anyone would like to join us. Our game is slow but steady, and has been running for about five months. The game is still in its opening in-game weeks, so you won't have missed much. As we've been talking as a group about moving the game into its next era, we decided it was time to see if anyone would like to fill one of our more glaring gaps in the roster, Lord or Lady Stark.

Before we continue, I invite you to look at our State of the Realm and Character Directory threads to get a feel for what we've been up to. Feel free to take a look around the big board, as well!

In short: The game takes place many decades after the end of the Long Night, based on a custom ending to the story devised in broad strokes by our group and turned into lore by me. Queen Dany had a long, successful reign, but her successors have not been so lucky. A critical "mistake" made by Dany herself has festered, leading to rumblings of a Northern rebellion. The Stark role(s) we are looking to fill will play a central part in this rebellion, coordinating with his or her daughter Lyra, her betrothed Prince Astaerys Targaryen, Lady Morrigan Rayder, and many others. The primary Stark does not have to be the Lord or Lady of Winterfell necessarily, you could also play the heir, Lyra's older brother or sister, or even both if you wished, or if multiple people were interested in filling out the house.

But that's not all we're looking for! Lady Darya Volmark is looking for Ironborn allies, Princess Jennalyn Targaryen would love a (female) paramour or intended, and there are many Houses that have not been claimed, including some of the big ones.

Stares at this with longing...but realizes I do not know enough GoT lore to even make a dent in a proper write-up for a character...Bookmarks it anyway, just in case I lose a group or gain more knowledge.

I will hold you to this as I have ideas ...but I always have ideas. I will know better in a week or two whether or not my four groups will maintain their current pace...(I prefer to dedicate one day per game in rotation based on characters--and too many groups makes me a very sad boi.)

Dang. One of my favorite houses is open, but I'm still too early in the series to feel like I would have enough knowledge.  (And I skimmed through the Character Directory and found 3 of my favorite male faceclaims of all time and one of my female favorites too!!!)

If anyone is curious to join but may feel they don't know enough, you can always reach out to us. We're quite flexible and will help make your character concept work in this 'verse. It is, after all, an AU that we're writing for enjoyment.

I'm incredibly interested. Familiar faces and everything! I'll start peeking around at characters, gamethreads, and whatnot.

Edit: Okay! I've skimmed over the characters to get an idea of the cast. I've read the lore, and the modified history of AsoIaF. I am interested in filling the Stark void that was mentioned. But I have a few other ideas. Lots of loves! I'll wait for a response before I commit to anything.
