Chibi-eldritch horror is a blender. Melee beasty.

A Controller or a Blaster might be the thing to think about. or a Mastermind? Er, mastermind=minion controller for those that never played CoV. Controller specializes in status effects and mob control. We have a lot of direct to somewhat direct concepts. A bit of seduction and whatnot, but out and out control, not really.

Chibi-E is a powerhouse varient to us m&m terms. CoV wise she's sort of a brute striker? 13 str and 12 stamina. Might just qualify as brute it's been a while.
An amphibious brute with a weaken tail strike and a 60ft burst affliction stomp..


Was playing with stacking flaws and ended up with a 9 rank concealment that only cost 1 point. Total conceal from vision, hearing, smell, partial magic sensing too. With flaws being half move, drops on aggressive actions, standard action to activate, and limited to in shadows or darkness. Was rather amusing the kind of junk could stack.


Speaking of summoning a video game geek that calls forth game characters and monsters could be funny. Or a metamorph that takes forms based on game characters.

Another thing to mention: I would like refs of both human form and demon form. You are going to be spending time in both, maybe not fighting, but I would like to see how you look in both sides. This goes for everyone in the thread, if you haven't added a human form ref (can be drawn or anime or otherwise), please do.

On that note, not sure if it will matter, Michael is Asexual/Homoromantic (but likes very femmy boys). The Demon will fuck anything she can hold down but is Aromantic. Love is for suckers and mortals.

Sami is happy to try relationships with guys as well. In fact, he leaned into his androgynous appearance a lot in the past few years, managing to mooch off well-off guys who took him in as a 'housewife' (guy). But it didn't work out and so he left both. Then the whole thing with the demon-incursion happened and it gave him powers, so now he decided to not try to find the perfect sugardaddy/sugarmommy anymore and just get the bread by right of conquest.~

So I think I nailed down a Profession.  I am thinking of a  Voice Actor and Motion capture Specialist.  The Motion Capture Specialist is the people who behind the scenes  where the technology that helps set the combat animations and such in video games. Usually having skills in martial arts and a variety of weapon training.

It seems we haven't really got a siege weapon yet (ranged blaster) but that's without knowing what the eldritch horror does.

That would be more the librarian demon than the casino demon.but the casino demon is more fun. But we seem to have a lot of similar demons in the group... hmmm...

I'd recommend getting the idea of team comp and a balanced party *out* of your head. If people end up building a whole team of flying bricks, that's what we'll run with. Make what you want, not what you think the team needs.

On top of that, it's super simple to get a needed ability for the duration of the scene, just spend a hero point and add it as an alternate power!

Just chiming in quickly to note that Sami is going to be a person with all his pros and cons. He is not a boy scout paragon like Superman, but he has many lines he won't cross. Killing people is something he won't do without a very good reason, same goes for demons if it turns out they are also sapient people with ethically and morally righteous folk among them.

He will also be a damned loot goblin and take stuff from villains to reward himself for his work. Just FYI.

I keep forgetting to add it into the lore, but uh, killing demons is not exactly a thing, definitely not an easy thing. You can smash 'em up real good but they have a tendency to reform...somewhere. The demon still exists, all you're destroying is a physical shell. This technically applies to all of you as well, regen and immortality just give you finer control over it. As a result, demons don't really fight to the breaking point cause it's just so damn inconvenient. 

There IS a way to actually kill a demon, but it's probably unlikely to come up. As I've said before, kinky captures are more likely to happen than character death (something the book recommends in a roundabout way anyway)

Overall my concept would directly take the Paragon archetype; however, change flight to have wings (so it halves the cost from 18pts to 9pts). Also, change enhanced strength +2 (limited) to powerlifting instead. However unsure how to rule the raw Str 12 and Sta 12 in human form (or do they fall all into just categorized as permanent enhanced traits in alternative form; so like have Str 3 and Stam 3 human form but gain +17 enhanced trait for Str and +9 for stamina in alternative form).

In either case, -2 for full action activation so I have 11pts spare to spend so open to suggestions/ideas. In either case concept is 'super strong and tough flying demon' form.

You probably should move most of your Str and Sta to your alternate form. It's the same cost anyway.

I think the Paragon's stats already include his enhanced stamina and strength, or he's blasting way past the power level. Also, the points don't work otherwise. So you could put everything in his powers under alternate form and you'd be good.

Some regeneration could be good, if you want to up your tough guy angle.

Also, separate, while you can take stuff from villains, probably, using it usually requires spending points.

So I can have separated human form which has Str and Sta 3 in both but in alternative form those values change to 12 and 12 (so in human form, he is not physically strong as in alternative form but for human, he has above average stats). I was thinking about regeneration as well, as a concept for his form is pit fiend from DnD, at least shape. So was thinking of also potential for fire powers and resistance to fire as well. His throwing attacks are mostly grasping something from the environment, tearing it off with brutal force, and just slugging it someone.

Yes, that's right! You can just decide which values are human and which alternate form. Anything above 0 is above average.

So, with 11pts I could get;

-Fire Immunity (all effects/powers) 10pts, or fire dmg 5pts (which one would be best?)
-Dynamic (Alternate Effect) Fire Control for 10pts (2pts for dynamic and 4-6pts for mass/amount and rest for a number of array of abilities)
-Persistent Regeneration for 10pts to get rank 5 effect (heal -1 toughness every other round), non-persistent would be 5pts
-Supernatural senses kit (would be in human form); Infravision, Track, Danger Sense, Counter Illusion (visual) for 5pts

If you want your fire damage to be based on your strength, you don't need to put so many points into it. In fact, you can probably just say that your punch is fire based. You can't add more damage to your punch, because you're already at your power/accuracy limit.

Persistent is only needed if you're really worried about Incurable effects.

I don't think we have a comprehensive list of all the character yet.

I am planning to bring a Voice Actor/Martial artist that use their martial arts  training for Motion capture technology for video games. Their Demon form is inspired by a Eberron Changeling with the Create power. Also has the  comprehend Languages and takes on a wide variety of humanoid appearances via the morph power. I can't speak for everyone else but it would not bother me if any similarities  in powers or concept would happen.
