It is very warm out today too. I made the mistake of going to the market today. Should have waited until tonight after sundown. >.<

I was at a cookout today and it was so humid and sticky. Fun time otherwise!

I don't miss cookouts. lol We do them at work sometimes and I don't mind them, but mostly because I'm not doing the cooking over the grill, don't have to stay outside, and don't have to do any of the clean up. lol Though our site manager is a terrible planner and either buys enough food to feed a small army or not enough to feed everyone.

Relatable. I'm not much of a cookout person either. It was a plan that I apparently made a while ago but forgot about until literally today lol (I was subtly reminded over text by a friend haha). They had some excellent mac and cheese and the company was fun, so at least there was that. I was starting to miss the comfort of my home towards the end of it, though.

I usually start missing home the moment someone says hello to me and tries to small talk. lol

Also relatable. Usually when I'm invited because I'm a friend of a friend.

My only offline friends are very much homebodies like myself. We meet up to play DnD and there are no expectations of ever meeting up beyond that. lol Unless it's to go sit in a tent in the woods for a day and hike a little. In as much silence as we can manage. >.<

Besides the cookout, how's your day going?

That sounds like a nice arrangement. What me and my friends usually do is watch movies, either in the theater or at one of our houses.

It's going good. I'm relaxed in a nice cool place with some nice cold water (and also a cup of coffee, but that's because I can't help myself)

How's your time after the market?

It's alright. Did some meal prep for the work week lunches and cleaned up the cats play room.

Sounds productive! I've been putting off dusting me shelves for a few days now so I should probably do it soon... unless I can find a convenient distraction lol

I recently removed all the books from our bookshelves, all nine of them, dusted them, and reorganized them. I'd been putting it off for...like...a year. >.< It was very satisfying when it was done, but it did take a lot of self convincing to get it done. I wish you luck with that.

I might have a bit more than nine, which makes this an intimidating endeavor every time I try to do it.

We currently have nine, but I still have some books in boxes. I think we need at least one or two more. lol

I think I can do for some boxes. Would help me when I inevitably reorganize everything in the middle of dusting.

I did set up a system before hand. Had sections for what books needed to go where in place before I got started. That did help a lot given the amount of books we have.

I do it by genre (loosely) and it's gotten out of hand so much I have to stack vertically. Been going to antique shops looking for another shelf lately
