I love how active everything seems and how much time/energy/creativity people have put into the games I can see (especially in the adult game interest checks - there are some really well fleshed out concepts there!). I'm really excited to be a part of the stories being told.

That's wonderful to hear! There are definitely so many creative writers here. Hopefully you find some threads to keep in mind if you are approved.

I'm honestly so excited!
I have some semi-decent RP opportunities in my ttrpg games, but they're typically limited to a paragraph or less, unless I make a solo post like the one in my Introduction questionnaire. Not to mention we're extremely limited in what content can be explored since we can't do anything during downtime that'd require the GMs attention.

I know that feeling. Sadly, I've had a terrible time finding a group that can get together with any regularity. Even then all anyone wanted to play was D&D. Don't get me wrong, it's not a terrible system. 5e is actually amazing as far as how easy it is to pick up and learn compared to older, crunchier systems. But it's not my first love and most of the games I've played in since moving are driven by plot and narrative with very little in the way of character development. A little on the rails for my taste.

I'm old asf. I played Cyberpunk back when it was set in 2020.

And I saw you mention something about that earlier. It was just as easy to die in the older version, if not easier. I cannot recommend skinweave (I think 12 was the armor rating you could take without affecting mobility or appearance) and... it's been a while but I think it was a type of bioware that would close off blood vessels if you took a heavy hit to prevent you from bleeding out. Those and a neural link are invaluable on even the most lightly cybered edgerunner.

Oh good lord don't even get me started with my cyber setup in Red.. Due to countless weeks of Therapy, I've repeatedly yo-yo'd just above Cyberpsychosis in order to nearly max out my enhancements. To be fair, it's also due to my DM introducing "Chromeware" that's one cost rank higher, but has half the humanity loss. Almost every single part of her body is modified at this point lol
(I was halfway through listing it and was like, no one wants to read this lmao)
