What is the character limit for posts?

I'm asking because I'm setting out to continue working on my world-building threads, which often includes editing in new information to existing posts.

I would rather not be unpleasantly surprised that a post can't go through because I exceeded an unknown limit.

I believe it's 65535 characters.
