I...I might just be tired, but you've lost me. I have no idea what you're talking about <.<

Men in general judge more by the sense of sight than by that of touch, because everyone can see but few can test by feeling. Everyone sees what you seem to be, few know what you really are; and those few do not dare take a stand against the general opinion. Therefore it is unnecessary to have all the qualities I have enumerated, but it is very necessary to appear to have them. And I shall dare to say this also, that to have them and always observe them is injurious, and that to appear to have them is useful; to appear merciful, faithful, humane, religious, upright, and be so, but with a mind so framed that should you require not to be so, you may be able and know how to change to the opposite.

Seemed a little short,  Maybe a little more thought on her views? ;(

I assume this was intended as sarcastic humor of 'you wrote too little about your char, write more' despite the immense wall of text already you did Vergil  :P

(my guess on the matter anyways)

Vergil Tanner

Oooooooooooooooooooooh. Yeah, it's me being tired. And not used to being told I wrote too little. xD

I'm with you now. xD

Not sarcasm, satire. Perhaps just a contrast. everyone was saying how great it is, and I do agree;  the contrast between my post and the rest was suppose to be the humor.

I remember back when Titanic was released so many years ago now and the local movie critic with the news paper gave it a horrible review. A week later, when it hit blockbuster, the website for the paper edited the article to give the movie glowing reviews. I still had the paper version and compaired it.

It's all good, both of you.  You're all awesome.  And I'm sorry I havent' done a proper read through yet.  :)  Something for my list.  Been a creatively busy few weeks and one of my psych meds is out of stock.  Hope to get it later today.

Muse, Ever since I first met you, you seemed to have trouble getting your meds. Have you considered going to another pharmacy?

For 2 or 3 years after my transplant, the only place that I could get my anti-rejection medications was from a mail order pharmacy and I had a fucking nightmare between ordering the stuff because I couldn't call until I was 5 days from running out and the 3 day UPS delivery. Add into that nugget that the UPS guy would never drop it at the same place... sometimes, at the door, but without a knock, a few times, he dropped it at the garage door and I wouldn't find it for days... I started calling around all the local pharmacies and found a family run pharmacy that not only could order it, but carried it all the time. I never had a problem after that... they even delivered.

I worry about you Buddy.

What makes the ugly feel pretty ...

Callie Del Noire

Pretty much done, was tempted to swap a feat for Leadership or Recruits but held off. Are you sticking with the alternative crafting ideas you had?

N’Dara L’Talan, the Velvet Tongued
Race: Elf Gender: Female
Age: 164 (26 apparent)
Height: 5’6” Weight: 129 lbsj
Skin: Pale Hair: Black  Eyes: Silver/Blue

History:

“There was once a boy from Kaer Maga named Darren, a cunning half elf lad who grew into a handsome thief who charmed the ladies, fooled the guards and made off with goods. He and his partner stole all manner of things across the inner sea...

Till they stole the Key of All..

The Key could unlock any version of you across infinite worlds. Legend has it that many heroes and a few villains forged their destiny with it.

Darren didn’t expect betrayal. His partner stabbed him with Key and twisted..
He was a human, in the garb of the Taldan legions...
An elven hunter carrying a bow...
A half elf guardsman ... walking a street beat
A doe eyed elven courtesan clad in silks and satins, painted and perfumed..

With a twist the betrayer left him remade as N’darra the Velvet-tongued, and mocked the changed thief.  Till three bolts pierced his chest and he fell from the keep walls and into the torrential river below ..the Key lost in the rushing waters below.

Newly minted N’Dara was taken to jail, the Warden acting on the lost Key owner’s wishes for her to be punished. A handful of curses for her. One to keep her name to the one of this body..another to fuel her lusts, another to amplify her peaks.

Darren of Kear Maga is gone, the rogue remade into an elven counterpart of his from a different reality, N'dara. A Nor'Thor (Passion Sage in elven).

Now, several decades later, she’s settled into the identity of N’Dara and moved past her old life. With the curses the Warden gave her eased up and putting her skills to work as a Passion Sage, she’s moved up in the world. She isn’t nobility, but she entertains them and the richest merchants on equal footing as no one wants to be cut off from her services, home or social circles.

Personality:
In the time since her escape from prison, N’Dara had eased into her current identity with little misgivings. Where she was once concerned with her ease of skill at Trad'ath Nor (Arts of Passion), it’s simply what she can do now. She has made a good living and found her place in th world. She’s the premiere courtesan in the city and her business has a reputation for quality services and discretion.
When out on adventures she is sneaky and underhanded as she was in her prior life but now with magic and manipulating others. Socially she’s very outgoing and forthright as needed and sees into the role of a knowledgeable and capable woman.

2.  It’s mostly the Gms setting with slight input from us. It’s sort of an alternate city on Golorian.

yes, one more should be 6 players so go ahead and make a character.

Shadowspire is a sexy metropolis that I use for most of the games I run.  The first iteration was based on the council of thieves AP if the tiefling had defeated the players, hence the tyrant and sexualization of women.  This version is more open and allows for anyone to be as sexy or conservative as they want.

Posting on my phone, hoping I'll have enough time to make a proper game information post later today.

Mister Ugly

Thanks ...
I have several ideas what is needed.
I have a concept for a ranged warpriest
or a spear dancer, even a witch,

I am good with working with the party.

In what of region is Shadowspire located. Is it near or on the ocean or deep river. I am considering having my PC own a ship as the business.

It’s located somewhere in Celliax if I recall

Shadowspire is in Cheliax and has rivers on 2 sides of the city.  That means you can have a ship and a business involving said ship.

I do tend to gloss over existing lore for regions so I don't know everything about a give place.

#340
Traits Shadowspire features are:
Abundant - food is plentiful enough that it's nearly impossible for anyone to starve
Broad Minded - visitors are rarely met with distrust, no matter how 'evil' they appear
Morally Permissive - many actions that would violate a character's code of ethics are legal and acceptable within the city limits
Peacebinding - weapons are generally prohibited to citizens and visitors in most cases, promoting a freer citizenship
Prosperous - the city is unusually wealthy thanks to their stance against violence within the walls
Religiously Tolerant - there are temples to popular deities, even small shrines to diametrically opposed deities, all existing peacefully within the city limits (not saying they aren't plotting against each other, just on the surface they exist in harmony)

Other traits and points of interest:
- Males and females are about equal.
- Futa are rare and are almost universally feminine.  The most well known futa is Keltyse, one of the old tyrant's daughters.

Some npcs that the characters will know or have heard of in and around Shadowspire:

Tallianni - An attractive tiefling and the Tyrant's oldest daughter who's become the popular favorite to help lead the city...on the other hand she's so promiscuous that there are a few rumors she uses sexual favors to keep her position.  She has a number of lovers scattered through the city and living with her in the spire itself.
Lehavasis - Talli's official wife.  She's a dark elf and tends to keep to herself.
Zellova Sarvut - This dark elf woman hasn't aged for as long as anyone can remember.  She resides on the far side of Shadowspire's graveyard with her close knit cult of followers practicing their necromancy.  Most people know the men and women are using necromancy to extend their lives, but the promise of eternal youth still attracts followers and minions from the citizenry.
- She always obtains permission from city officials and appropriate family members before using any buried remains, or granting 'eternal youth'.  Even with those limits their forces are substantial and act as the cities western defense.
Leila Ironfist - This human woman took over the cities aerial defenses after the tyrant's fall and can be seen flying on the back of a silver dragon when on patrol.  It's not hard to guess her husband is the dragon in human form when she's not on patrol.
Elspeth Lamentia - The mistress and owner of the cities house for darker pleasures, also known as Obsidian.  She openly admits she's a vampire and things can get rough in her establishment, but so far no welcomed visitor has died or been seriously hurt.
Blazen Stormlance - He's the human general of the ground forces.  There's nothing too special about him, he rose through the ranks properly over the last 2 decades.
Leane Stormlance - Blazen's daughter and captain of the spire guard.  Her duty is the protection of the city leaders themselves.
Maylander - The head priest of Sarenrae's temple.
Karanya Memoria - Headmistress of the magic academy.
Rohani Oscleton - Elven huntress, scout, and guide.
Cauri Blackthorne - Merchant guild guardmaster, often escorts caravans to and from other cities.

Character creation for 1st edition Pathfinder:
- Humanoid races.  If you have an idea for some other less humanoid race I'm willing to look it over.
- Character level 13
- 20 point buy
- Max HP @ level 1, half hit die +1 every level after first
- 150,000 starting gold value for items, with a 50,000 gold limit on the character's primary item (base and masterwork costs don't count but special material costs do count)
+ Items after the first/primary item have a cap of 30,000 gold (primarily to promote some diversity in gear)
+ Characters with item crafting feat(s) gain an additional 50,000 gold in spare gear.  Any gear purchased in this category is tied up in some way and must be swapped out for something the character is carrying/using so their accessible gear value is 150,000 gold or less.
- Items are crafted in one of two ways, either a conservative full body version (as listed in descriptions) or in a much skimpier form.  Conservative and skimpy is not gender specific, though women (and futa) do tend towards skimpier outfits much more than men.
- Select 2 character traits, plus a third if a permanent curse is taken.  This curse is a lesser version of those listed unless the character takes a normal or greater version (no additional benefit for a normal or greater curse)
- Background skills are in use
- Firearms such as muskets and cannons are available (single shot muzzle loading), but most gear is still magical.
- Elephant in the Room is in use meaning many prerequisite feats are simply options for all characters to use, these include power attack and combat expertise.

Curses
Slut Curse - the afflicted must roll a will save with a -5 penalty if requested to perform a sexual act out of combat.  During combat the will save has no penalty.  If you or your character hates something then the curse will not force you into it.
Milker - the afflicted produces great quantities of milk or cum (female and male respectively).  The pressure must be relieved regularly or the afflicted will find it difficult to walk.  Mechanically the effect is added encumbrance, reducing mobility like heavier armors do.
Heat - you are overcome with sexual desire once per month.  You will attempt to copulate with anyone that fits your preferences the first chance you get and will keep going until satisfied.
Increased Libido - the character's sex drive is multiplied up to 5 times normal making it difficult to think of things other than sex.  The increase is a minimum of double libido.
Race Fetish - you are turned on every time you detect the chosen race with one of your senses.  This functions as a limited form of increased libido
Pheromones - members of your chosen race are aroused when they are close to you.  Those affected by pheromones will try claiming the object of their affection through their preferred means, up to and including rape based on the pheromone character's appearance.
Size Queen - you can only reach orgasm if stuffed with an object made for creatures 1 size larger.  Everyone has worked their way up to the larger size already.
Powerful Orgasms - your orgasms are so strong that you are staggered for 1 minute
Random Orgasms - up to 10 times a day without warning
Nudist - wearing anything over your skin makes you uncomfortably hot so you prefer to go without.  Clothing and armor for females is tolerable.  Clothing for males is a high heat effect (save every hour) and armor made for males is a severe heat effect (save every 10 minutes).
Helping Hand - masturbation is no longer an option for you, the only way you can get off is from the touch of another living creature
Stretchy - your body was modified to accommodate any sized blunt insertion without tearing or leaving marks.  You can experience all forms of inflation, if you want to.
Shared Senses - you forge a magical connection with the last person you had sex with and feel everything they do.  The connection lasts until you have sex with someone else.
Magic Focus - functions as a wizard's item familiar for all arcane casters.  The focus must be some form of plug between the character's legs.
Mana Tanks - only intended for females, this curse causes ones breasts to grow and shrink based on their available spell slots.  Breasts range from 0% to 200%, or 50% to 150%.  A character with no spell slots who takes this curse will stay flat no matter what magic they may try using to change that.
Size King - external genitalia grow 1 size larger, doubling most dimensions
Freaky Cock - your penis has been replaced by something from another creature.  Common examples include horse, dog, or tentacle (one or more).
Enhanced Cum - you ejaculate or squirt copious amounts of fluids each time you orgasm.  Your cum may also be sticky making it more difficult to squeeze out of your partner's body.  Your body does not change even if you do not cum for days at a time.
Broodmother - your body safely accelerates all forms of pregnancies.  A normal human pregnancy will last 1 week.
Bio luminescence - parts of your body glow when aroused.  The most common choices are the penis, the womb (which glows through the stomach), or instructions for how to fuck you in a language you cannot read.
Miniaturized - you've been permanently shrunk 1 to 3 sizes.

Curse combination warnings
Stretchy + Size Queen = The character never reaches an upper limit.  Eventually even the most ridiculously sized object will not satisfy this character, though their partners will still enjoy themselves.
Random Orgasms + Powerful Orgasms = This could hinder characters in the middle of a deadly encounter.
Mana Tanks + Milker = A female mage's breasts could get so big she becomes helpless.  A non mage will end up with normal, permanently lactating breasts.
Increased Libido + Race Fetish = Encountering the selected race will prompt a will save with a penalty equal to increased libido's multiplier to resist sexually assaulting them.

Magic items a female might wear on her body
Head - gold comb in hair, silver tiara, tongue stud
Headband - golden hoop earring
Eyes - sapphire stud earring, bridge piercing
Shoulders - gold chain shawl
Neck - platinum choker, chain necklace
Chest - nipple studs, gold 'freestanding' wire cups (a ring around the breasts base keeps it from sliding off)
Body - navel sapphire, golden chain harness
Armor - breastplate with daisy duke bottoms and underboob top
Belt - gold chain around the waist, silver clitoral hood stud
Wrists - gold armlet around the upper or lower arm
Hands - gold bracelet linked to a band around a finger
2 rings
Feet - gold anklet

Item crafting feat changes :
Consumable crafting - scrolls, potions, anything with a single use/charge
Charged crafting - wands, staves, rods, anything with multiple charges not worn on the body
Permanent crafting - wondrous items, rings, arms & armor, anything worn on the body
Life crafting - constructs, plants, anything lifelike with some level of intelligence

Leadership Cohort Creation is the same as the player with the following changes :
- max level of 11
- 80,000 gold in gear.
- 1 trait and/or 1 curse

Recruit Cohort Creation is the same as player creation with the following changes :
- max level 9
- 15 point buy, or use the array 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8 to determine their ability scores
- There are 6 cohorts total, so the 80,000 (or more) gold is split among them
- 1 trait and/or 1 curse

I am letting the players create their cohorts, though I am not requiring any.

I mean for what it's worth I'm not running a business, but my character is basically Alaya's PC cohort.

You don't need a business or either leadership feat.

A business requires seed money to get started, 1 or more employees to work (the first is the PC), and earns profits each month based on the profit check.
The PC works in their business all month but can hire/assign another employee to run things in the PCs absence, 1 employee = 1 week away from the job and there are 4 weeks per month.

- Mobile businesses cost 1 gold per seed rank, requires the PC as an employee at least half the time (can hire 2 npcs), and earns 5x the profit check in gold per month.  A +10 rank would earn up to an average of 100 gold per month as profit.
- Small businesses cost 100 gold/rank, requires at least 2 additional employees (can hire up to 4 allowing the PC to adventure full time), and earns 10x the profit check in gold per month.  A +10 rank would earn up to an average of 180 gold per month.
- Medium businesses cost 1,000 gold/rank, requires 5 employees (can hire up to 10), and earns 100x the check in gold.  A +10 rank would bring in 1,500 gold per month.
- large businesses cost 5,000 gold/rank, requires 10 employees (can hire up to 20), and earns 1,000x the check in gold.  A +10 rank would bring in 10,000 gold per month.

These are just examples using the minimum employees whether they are followers or hirelings.
If a player uses 'free' labor, such as undead or constructs, then the employee number/labor force is halved when rolling for end of month profits.  That represents not having to pay for food, clothing, etc for the individual but there are still business related costs for the workers.

I now know how to make this weapon:
Shrinking
Add in the spear dancing style string. Warpriest goodness!
Probably a female.

Mister Ugly

I have some questions about 'Elephant in the Room' changes.
Weapon focus applies to a weapon group?

Weapon Finesse: is this still required for abilities/feats that require it.
Example:
QuoteSpear Dancing Spiral (Combat):
Prerequisite(s): Dex 15, Spear Dancing Style, Two-Weapon Fighting, Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus with the chosen weapon.

Benefit(s): While using Spear Dancing Style, you gain the benefit of Weapon Finesse with the chosen weapon if it is appropriately sized for a creature of your size category. In addition, you can use any feat or ability that functions with a quarterstaff with your chosen weapon.

If I understand the change then the 'spear' gains 'weapon finesse' like reach/brace and should not need the feat as a prereq.?

If so does that also apply to the next feat in the spear dancer chain?
QuoteSpear Dancing Reach (Combat)
You can strike from afar with double weapons.

Prerequisite(s): Dex 17, Spear Dancing Spiral, Spear Dancing Style, Two-Weapon Fighting, Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus with the chosen weapon.

Benefit(s): While using Spear Dancing Style and making a full attack using the chosen weapon as a double weapon, you can grant the reach special weapon feature to one or both of the weapon’s ends until the end of your turn as a swift action.

A spear is not normally finessable nor a double weapon...

Because of EITR I'd say the Spear Dancing Style would only have the dex requisite of 13 to use a spear as a double weapon.

Spear Dancing Spiral requires dex 15, the style feat, and allows dex to attack and damage to your spear attacks.

Spear Dancing Reach requires dex 17, the spiral feat, the style feat, and restores the reach quality to the weapon (if it already has the reach quality).

Weapon focus or the fighter weapon training will expand the feat coverage from spears only to any appropriate polearm.

- granted I've only known about EITR for the last month or so, I could be getting too generous with it...

Blinkin

I would question the polearm if you mean for ito t be used as  a one handed weapon. Polearms, with head, 7 and 9 feet long. If you're looking at a halbert or similar weapon, they were a bit top heavy as well  On the other hand, you're GOD (GM On Duty) :)

Being Literate is the ability to read and understand a language. When you ask for literate, what you are looking for is Verbosity, which is the ability to use lots of words without actually saying very much... like politicians. I consider myself both literate and verbose.

Vergil Tanner

If the spear or polearm in question is two-handed, then you would have to use it two handed regardless of whether you're using it as a double weapon or not. If it's one handed, then you can either use it normally as a one handed weapon, or you can use it as a double weapon in two hands; this is because the rules state that a double weapon must be used two handed to use it as a double weapon.

As far as Weapon Finesse goes, EITR removes it as a prereq and gives it to all characters as an option, which means that all characters have Weapon Finesse for the purposes of meeting Feat Prereqs, so Spear Dancing Spiral would now have the prereqs of "Dex 15, SDS, TWF, WF."
