BOUNTY HUNTER

Invitation:  The Captain of the Fallen Lady is seeking able crew members to join her bounty hunting enterprise, which was created pursuant to Decree 73 of the Bounty Hunter's Guild Code.  All applicants should be licensed as bail enforcement officers by any regional Bounty Hunter's Guild in the Outer Rim.

System:  This game will use Star Wars Core Revised.  The rules are free, accessible, and very similar to D&D 3.5.

Setting:  This game takes place in the Star Wars Universe, shortly after the Battle of Endor.

Character Creation:

  • Gestalt
  • Classes: Fringer, Noble, Scoundrel, Scout, Soldier, Tech Specialist
  • Races: Humans, Attractive Aliens
  • Stats: 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13
  • Starting Credits: 3000, no pre-crafted items
  • No force users

Smut:  Applicants should be open to group sex and multiple partners in order to pass the time in hyperspace.  Applicants must be prepared to enter into all dens of iniquity... to capture bounties.

FAQ:

Do I have to know the system to play?  No, but experience with other system games is helpful.

Do I have to be familiar with Star Wars to play?  No.  All you need to know is that the Empire is sort of bad, the Alliance is sort of good, and bounty hunters fall somewhere in between.  Also, maybe if your character is really smart, that Jedis are mostly dead.

The Fallen Lady

Used/Modified Lambda Shuttle

As payment for turning in Senator Bail Organa, the notorious Rebel Alliance sympathizer and Alderaanian fugitive, Grand Moff Tarkin gave Countess Z a decommissioned Lambda-Class shuttle.  The Countess retrofitted the hold of the shuttle (Area 12, 13, 14) with an open spartan living cabin and eight reinforced prison holds.

The Lambda shuttle is designed to accommodate a crew of four, with two or more command seats available for officers.  A single pilot can fly a Lambda, but a crew of four is preferable.  If the ship has less than four crew members, then for each person missing, the ship bestows a -1 penalty on all Pilot checks.  A forward ramp folds out of the Lambda's cockpit for loading passengers and cargo.

Craft: Lambda Shuttle; Class: Starfighter; Cost: Not available for sale; Size: Tiny (20 meters long); Initiative: +6 (+2 size, +4 crew); Crew: 1 to 6; Passengers: 10; Cargo: 80 metric tons; Consumables: 2 months; Hyperdrive: x1 (Backup x10); Maximum Speed: Attack; Maneuver: +6 (+2 size, +4 crew); Defense: 22 (+2 size, +10 armor); Shield Points: 50; Hull Points: 120; DR: 5

Weapon: Blaster cannons (3 sets of 2 fire-linked); Fire Arc: 2 sets front, 1 set rear; Attack Bonus: +10 (+2 size, +4 crew, +4 fire control); Damage: 5d10x2; Range Modifiers: PB +0, S -2, M/L n/a.

Weapon: Twin laser cannons (2); Fire Arc: Front; Attack Bonus: +10 (+2 size, +4 crew, +4 fire control); Damage: 2d10x2; Range Modifiers: PB +0, S -2, M/L n/a.

Helmut is an expert pilot and crewman aboard the Fallen Lady.  He enjoys a close company with the Countess, and can oftentimes be found within her bunk.  Though he is a good shot with a blaster pistol, many say that he's too friendly for the profession, and he personally prefers to treat quarries with sympathy.

I have a question. As a player I don't mind the smut, but is it disqualifying to have a character who might play at being coy, or have preferences on who she entertains herself with? Basically, I'm trying to gauge if smut is for smut's sake or if it's a product of character interactions that might vary from character to character.

I really like the idea of a bounty hunter ship crew, but I prefer a little smut with my bounty hunting rather than a little bounty hunting with my smut. :)

Thank you for your question.

I do not want the game to have a little smut, so to speak.  Ha ha ha.  I want it to have a lot of smut.  However, my desires for a smut-filled game are often tempered by the characters that I admit into the game (much to my chagrin).

This game IS also image-intensive.  I like using combat maps a lot.  As far as I'm concerned, the less writing the better.  I read somewhere that you prefer games that use less images, so this game might not be a good fit because of that.

I love D20 Revised.  The books are easily accessible and PDFs can be found at reddit.com/starwarsd20

On the other hand, I could never get into Saga, and though I like Starfinder, I don’t want to convert Star Wars material.

I will look over the character sheet, but I will admit that the character image doesn’t appeal to me.

Edit:  The character looks good to me otherwise.

Countess 'Z'
Level 1 Human Noble/Scroundrel
Vitality: 8, Wound: 15, Def: 16, Passive: 12; Reputation: +4

The countess known as Z is actually a princess.  A direct descendant of Emperor Roan Fel,  who was assassinated and deposed by the Sith Lord Darth Krayt.

Z is a human noble,  who plies in the trades of being a adventurer, bounty hunter and treasure hunter.   What else is a girl to do when she is a princess truly but abate one of a deposed line when her ancestor was betrayed and killed.  It's not like a inheritance and dowry was set aside for her.

Across the galaxies she is known as the countess Z or just plain Z.  Her friends and closes allies know her truly as Princess Zayria Fel,  and know of her legacy as the rightful heir of the empire.

Z is human gestalt noble/scoundrel.  Politically she has no desire to seek her heritage, for that matter she has maintained a neutral position between all the political positions.   She has a soft spot towards the resistance.

Is there any room for a Droid PC? Perhaps one modified for entertainment as well as it's other functions? Or would you prefer a more standard PC that might own such a Droid?

Unarmed combat needs a few level-dependent feats in order to be effective, especially in comparison to a blaster.  This game is a bit deadlier, so range, cover, and defensive positions are vital.

Ok then.

Next idea is a Soldier/Tech Specialist. The kind of person who likes to craft their own gear. I understand that there is no custom gear to start but is that a viable choice going forward?
