Is this a campaign with Aliens and weird experiments? Can I please write for a sentient fungus/mold?

Levi

Well there might be weird experiments

Can't guarantee aliens

Err if you can find a book reference for one?!

There are a few unofficial companion guides to the League comics. They are mostly just interviews. I was mostly disappointed with them like I was the last story arc of the series. I wish they would do a full, official companion guide to explore the earlier years of the League and the Blazing World. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Black Dossier is a great source of information and detail though.

There's plenty of nonfiction texts for like parasitic fungus that could be adapted for this story, and for fiction there is The Last Of Us comics in which there is a fungus that is advanced and able to take over hosts. There is also the Twilight Moss from Nightwatch as well as Ophiocordyceps from The Girl With All The Gifts

Here we are! Hopefully it's acceptable!!!

Artemis Fellbrook

Name: Artemis Fellbrook, goes by "Arty."
Age: 1000-ish years. Honestly, he stopped counting centuries ago.
Sex: Male.
Sexual preference: Bisexual

Description:

Somewhat unusually for an Incubus, Artemis is not traditionally masculine or of a powerful build with bulging muscles and a jaw you could break bricks on. He can assume that shape, certainly, but his preferred form is actually more of a feminine one. He is dainty and delicate-looking, standing at only 5' tall and weighing about 55kg soaking wet with a soft, smooth shape to him that is more akin to a petite female than a traditional male. He is soft and plush, with long, smooth legs and a firm bubble-butt, a thin and sinuous upper body and delicate, pretty facial features that have tricked more than his fair share of men into believing him to be female. Assisting with the illusion is the large, doe-like green eyes and long flowing red hair that falls about his shoulders, along with the fact that he always tends to dress in a very feminine, very provocative style. Being a shapeshifter, he can change his appearance to whatever male shape he so desires, but this is the one he tends to enjoy the most. He has a couple of minor scars here and there from human hunters and overzealous priests who tried to kill him, but he doesn't pay them any mind. You're not having any fun if people don't try to kill you on occasion!

Occupation: None. He just kind of floats from place to place, doing whatever "shiny" thing catches his attention, seducing his way to whatever it is he happens to want at any given time.

Personality:

Artemis is, first and foremost, pretty much the definition of a free spirit. He does what he wants, when he wants, and frankly there isn't a damn thing most people can do to stop him. He's lived entirely too long to be very concerned with the day to day lives of most people, and he's lived long enough to see entire governments rise, crumble and fall. As such, he tends to not really give much of a shit about people who position themselves as authority figures, and tends to ignore them in favour of pursuing whatever impulse or whim he happens to have at the time. Whether that's a nice meal or a good hard fuck depends on the day, really. Of course, just because he doesn't concern himself with the feelings of the surrounding mortals doesn't make him outright malicious; he can be thoughtless and selfish at times, but he never acts with much malice or aggression. When dealing with people, he tends to be friendly, affectionate, flirtatious and teasing, with a devilish wit and a wicked, seductive sense of humour. He's always up for some more raunchy pastimes, and you would struggle to find anybody as openly kinky and sexual as him.

Of course, being a player, he's left his fair share of broken hearts and bewildered partners behind, but while he's playing, he always strives to make sure that his toys are well taken care of and left exhausted but alive, and he never really has much interest in actually harming anybody deliberately. That being said, he's flighty, he's somewhat unreliable and he is very self-centred so the chances are that he'll do something and then pass the buck, skipping off into the sunset leaving all kinds of unfortunate consequences behind for whoever he'd happened to be using at the time. That being said, he does have a compassionate streak. He loves animals, and he does genuinely want his partners to have a good time...though he also has a mischievous and somewhat sadistic streak, since his favourite passtime is identifying closeted homosexual men - or just outright bigots - and seducing them into realising "the truth." But then, as an Incubus, he's of the opinion that everybody should learn to be more sexually liberated and not care so much about who sticks what where, so in his mind, he's doing them a favour. He's a saint, really! They should make statues of him or something.

History:

Frankly, Artemis has been alive too long to really remember most of the places he's been and most of the people he's met. He does know that he was born on Old Earth to a Succubus mother named Lilith - apparently, she'd decided that she wanted a child around and allowed one of her victims to impregnate her before she killed him - who'd gotten a bit lonely and wanted to start a family. Aww. Cute. And yeah, you heard right; Lilith. The first demon, the evil woman who got Eve to eat the apple after she was discarded for being too wilful and independent, the woman who is often blamed for all of humanities problems and immortalised in countless books and plays where they depict her as a sex crazed lunatic who just wants to fuck and eat. I mean. That's fairly accurate, given her lifestyle, but she is far more refined than any of that. She only eats what she needs to survive, and the rest, well...she likes to live in comfort, y'see, but because people are always looking for weird shit, it kinda forced her to lie low for a while. Only a single meal a week, with a few non-lethal snacks here and there in between.

She was comfortable, living in blessed and opulent isolation, but she did get a bit lonely towards the end of Earths lifespan and decided that she'd give the whole "Motherhood" thing the old college try. Thus...she had Artemis. Why the name? In an old Earth culture, "Artemis" was the goddess of chastity and protector of virgins. She thought the irony was funny. Well, Artemis's first century was spent mostly learning the ropes and figuring out his own identity, and by that point, his mother had gotten over the whole "motherhood" thing and wanted to go back to being a single pringle who could seduce men back into her home without her son stealing her meal (it happened more than once). Oh, they still loved each other, and they definitely shared a dish or two from time to time but Lilith needed her space to work, and Artemis needed to stretch his wings a little and explore the world. All he'd seen for the last century was his mothers tower and the nearby towns. He'd never even been to a big city, what with his mothers paranoia about hunters and angry mobs! So, he struck out on his own and proceeded to wander away his life.

He began aimlessly, just kind of following the road wherever it might take him, and over the next couple'a hundred years, he learned all about the outside world and what it was like, who the people were, what humanity really did in their downtime and just how fucked the planet really was. Of course, he made a point to go and see all of the best shit - using his powers of persuasion and seduction to basically get a free ride everywhere - before he opted to fuck his way onto one of the immigration shuttles to humanities new home on a fresh non-fucked planet. He stayed in contact with his mother from time to time - their relationship actually improved from the distance, since they weren't basically on top of each other at all times - and eventually she moved to the unfucked-planet too when it became clear that yeah, Earth was pretty much doomed. From there, they went their own separate ways, and Artemis has basically been wandering ever since. There isn't really much to tell. He's been at the heart of several rebellions and revolutions, he's seen wars start and end, he's caused no end of barfights over who gets to take him home and he's often found himself in the most deliciously dangerous places just out of sheer curiosity.

There isn't much more to tell, really. He lives his life from one penthouse to the next, indulging in his expensive tastes by preying on the only real constant in human society; their rampant, uncontrolled lust and desire for self gratification. Unlike his mother, he never deliberately kills his partners - that would just be a waste of a nice and compliant toy he could revisit later down the line! - but he doesn't give them much thought after he's drank his fill and moved on to the next town. He's had his fair share of encounters with priests and hunters and angry boyfriends and girlfriends, but his talents are usually enough to let him get by with only a few minor scrapes and scratches. As devout or as trained as they may be, his pursuers are only human, and if they do get too annoying, well...he might not really enjoy killing, but there's a first time for everything, and if it comes down to them or him, they aren't gonna survive the night. He's flirtatious and friendly and bubbly, but he isn't a pushover. The one thing his mother did teach him above all else? Mortals are fragile, and it's easy to break them if he has to.

Skills/Talents:

- Fashionista: Artemis is an expert at fashion and textiles, and can often create or fix his own clothing with truly dizzying speed and skill.
- Cunning Linguist: I challenge you to find a language that Artemis can't speak.
- Bendy: Artemis is supremely flexible and agile, able to fit into small spaces, bend himself into seemingly unnatural positions and move about with ethereal grace, agility and athleticism, much like a professional gymnast.
- Erotic Fantasy: He is really, really, really good at sex. Duh.
- Basic Self Defence: His mother insisted on teaching him the basics of self defence - positioning, weight distribution, some basic moves, etc - but Artemis prefers to talk his way out of things.
- Silver Tongue: He is very, very, very persuasive when he wants to be. He's also a scarily good liar.
- Don't Play Poker With Him: Given his nature as an Incubus, reading people needs to be second nature to him. Thankfully...it is.
- Animal Lover: Is surprisingly good with animals. He usually has at least one pet with him most of the time.

Powers/Abilities:

- Eldritch Consciousness: Being descended from demons, Artemis is not actually human, and has therefore possesses the defences of his demonic mother. Being an Incubus, his mind is especially resistant to tampering and invasion, making him effectively immune to most methods of telepathy and empathic manipulation.

- I Can Be Whatever You Want Me To Be: As an Incubus, Artemis can shapeshift into any male form he desires. This includes changing his eye and hair colour, changing his height, changing his build, etc etc.

- Draining Kiss: Whilst he enjoys human food, it does not sustain him. Artemis requires sexual feeding from another living being at least once a week to remain in good health. This is achieved by joining in sexual intercourse with said individual and using the intimacy and contact to siphon off their lifeforce. Contrary to popular belief, however, this process does not necessarily need to be fatal. Furthermore, Artemis can incapacitate, intoxicate or "Charm" most individuals through physical contact.

- I Know You Better Than You Know Yourself: Artemis has low-level empathic senses that indicate to him the mood of the people he is currently interacting with. This isn't telepathy, however; he cannot pick up specific thoughts or intentions. He can only sense the general emotional state, that is, whether they are angry, sad, nervous, happy, horny, etc.

- Demonic Physiology: Whilst Artemis is not a physical individual, he does have the blessing of being more resilient than most humans. He is stronger than most average humans, and whilst he can be harmed by conventional means, the only way to kill him is either by attacking him with "Blessed" weapons or items (EG, a blessed sword, holy water, etc etc) or by preventing him from feeding for a protracted length of time.

Likes: Freedom, Sex, Luxury (opulent rooms, expensive food, etc), New Experiences, Sex, Excitement, Loud Music, Sex, Animals, Alcohol, Sex, Fashion, Makeup, Sex, Flirting, Dancing. Oh, and sex.
Dislikes: Starving, Boredom, Authority, Not Getting Sex, Animals Being Hurt, Being Told "No."
Ons: Rough Play, BDSM, Gangbangs, Humiliation, Dominant Partners, Excessive Size, Choking, Spanking, Biting, Roleplay, Costumeplay, Bestiality, basically anything debauched and decadent. He's usually content being "on the bottom," because even when his partner is acting dominant, it's Artemis who's really in charge.
Offs: Scat, Watersports, Gore, Vore, Inflation, Torture.

Character Reference: Lilith from various novels and plays and Tanith Lee's short story "The Demoness," amongst others.

Men in general judge more by the sense of sight than by that of touch, because everyone can see but few can test by feeling. Everyone sees what you seem to be, few know what you really are; and those few do not dare take a stand against the general opinion. Therefore it is unnecessary to have all the qualities I have enumerated, but it is very necessary to appear to have them. And I shall dare to say this also, that to have them and always observe them is injurious, and that to appear to have them is useful; to appear merciful, faithful, humane, religious, upright, and be so, but with a mind so framed that should you require not to be so, you may be able and know how to change to the opposite.
