Sheriff Duke LeBeau
Player Name: Juggtacular

Character Name: Duke LeBeau

Face Claim: Idris Elba

Age: 30

Sex: Male

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Ons & Offs:
On - Rough Sex, Foreplay, Roleplay, Multiple Partners, Anal, Oral, Vanilla, Risky Sex, Public Sex, Dirty Talk
Off - Scat, Watersports, Blood, Gore, Vore, etc...

Place of Origin: Baton Rouge, Louisiana(The Bayou)

Occupation: Sheriff of Silver Springs

Personality: Sheriff LeBeau is sort of what you'd expect from a lawman. He's got a good sense of right and wrong, although he's got enough head on his shoulders to know that you don't always do the right thing if you want to survive. You do what you need, and make up for it later. He's got a decent sense of humor, and has even been known to defuse conflict with a joke or something similar when he doesn't want to waste the bullets.

He doesn't tolerate bullshit in his town when he sees it, but he doesn't crack down on those who don't need it. He's a stern, but fair and understanding man who cares about the people of his town just as much as he cares about the laws, so he tries to work with them when he can.

When it comes to outlaws and criminals, he always tries to give them the benefit of the doubt, but he's always wary and with a hand close to his revolver just in case when it comes to them. As he isn't married, he does enjoy the attention of the fairer sex, and is something of a ladies man. All in all, Duke is a good man, especially for a town like Silver Springs.

Known History: Marian LeBeau, and her two children Duke and Lettie arrived in Silver Springs nearly twenty years ago. It was strange to see a woman and two kids without a man, but she told everyone who asked her husband was a gator trapper back home in Louisiana and he was staying behind for a few months to make some extra money before making his way to be with his family. When those months passed and he didn't arrive, Marian "received" a letter that told her her husband had died.

The family grieved, dealt with it, and moved on. Marian worked as a seamstress and sold perfumes and womens trinkets. Duke and Lettie went to school, but Duke was old enough to help out around farms here and there if they needed the extra hands. The family were actually financially very well off, as they'd been one of the most successful trapping families back in Baton Rouge, but they needed to stay busy in their new lives, and after several years, the LeBeau's were truly welcomed to Silver Springs.

One of the places he worked the most was the Smith Homestead, a Ranch several miles out of town that supplied them with meat, skins, eggs, and everything else. The land was huge so they always needed help, and they payed damn good. Julian Smith was the oldest son, and one of the hardest workers on the farm. He and Duke hit it off right away and quickly became best friends. Julian taught Duke how to read and write and all the things he needed to be a "learned" man to help him do better.

And Duke taught Julian what he knew. How to shoot like a killer. How to fight and win. How to survive. It was funny how well the two meshed together. It was like they were brothers, and that's what they considered each other. That was why when Henry Amell somehow found "genuine evidence" that Julian's great-grandfather had killed a man and taken the deed to his land, then seized it for himself, the Smith's were welcome to stay with Duke and his family. But Julian had had enough.

So one day, he took his gun, walked right up to Sheriff Williamson's office, and shot him square in the forehead. The good Sheriff had essentially been Mayor Amells' lapdog for years, and Silver Springs was better off with him dead. But Julian had killed a court officiated upholder of the law. The penalty for that was death by hanging, and Duke had to watch his best friend swing from a rope until he stopped struggling.

He personally cut his body down and saw to his burial, alongside Bud Smith, his father. That day, Duke decided to run for Sheriff, and to put an end to the corruption in the town. The cancer that had cost him one of the few good things he'd found since he came to Colorado, his brother. And given the chance, he was going to bring Mayor Amell to justice.

Dark Secret: When he was little more than thirteen years old, Duke slaughtered an entire family with a machete, children and all after they lynched his father and two uncles. It's what caused him to leave Louisiana with his remaining kin and head to the West to make a lives for themselves there. Not common knowledge.

Skills:
Gunslinger - Due to accompanying his father and uncles on hunting trips and gator trapping, Duke's aim is incredible and he is considered a Deadeye(one with a high degree of accuracy). He was also trained in gunplay by Sheriff Burns, and is not only extremely accurate, but damn fast on the draw.
Fighting - He's a black man from the South who moved West when he was young. It's safe to say Duke has been in his share of fights, and he's fought so often it's just become second nature to him. He's got no formal training, but his natural strength, speed, and tenacity make for a style all his own.
Guitar - He loves to play the guitar and sing and often carries one on his horse just in case he feels the need to play a little diddy.
Cooking - When he was younger and had to stay home to protect his mother and sister while the men were out working, he often helped out around the kitchen. It didn't take long before he and the girls would take turns cooking so the others could focus on some other chore that needed doing.

Extra: Another reason Duke makes such a good sheriff is that he's 6'6, and weighs about 240lbs of dense, hard muscle earned from a lifetime of work and sweat.

Despite living in Silver Springs for most of his life at this point, Duke's Cajun accent and speech mannerisms are still noticeable sometimes.

Ay now yall, Johnny Law is in the buildin'.

A sheriff who is damn good at his job.  8-)

I noticed he had a friend that worked on a farm that Is well established near Silver Springs. Maybe he could have visited the Blackwood Farm as well from time to time? :D

Juggtacular

As mentioned he worked all around town. The Smith Homestead was just his most frequent working location.  So yeah he definitely could have helped out around the farm.

Good to know!

Capone

Alright, potential connections.

Seamus will be relatively recent in town. His first stop would likely have been the Sheriff's office to let the man know of the new arrival, not there for trouble, just looking for work.

I'm of two thoughts of what that work could be. Working with Charles is the obvious first potential option, but perhaps something in time could lead him into being deputy to the Sheriff. I'm open to figuring that out, should you wish to plot it out, Juggtacular.

The boy's gonna have a weakness for Saloon girls, but he's also more of a romantic, so while he'd no doubt find appeal in both Bingbing and Catalina, I have a feeling he'd get on better with the latter in terms of emotional connection. I don't like planning on chemistry until the characters are written, though, but Foxy Oni or Catalina, if you'd like to work anything out feel free to send a PM or make note here.

Seamus and Brandon actually have some common background, so I might PM you about it later, The Laughing One. Otherwise, again, Seamus is new so he's not going to have any pre-established connections. It's largely about the connections he'll be making.

I figure at the start he won't have work yet and will probably be spending some time in the Saloon hoping to hear news and rumors and potential leads of people needing some help around town.

That seems to be the case with most connections for Charles; helping out at the Farm. XD

Absolutely, I want emphasize to you and to everyone, that if you want to have a character that's involved in the powers in the city. A member of the Amell Family, a leader in The Primitive Union, you're free to do so. So if a deputy strikes your fancy I say have at it.

If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Catalina Maria Garcia

Additional Images

Player Name: xPeachyPuff

Character Name: Catalina Maria Garcia

Face Claim: Sara Orrego

Age: 21 Years Old

Sex: Female

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual - Though open to intimate scenes with female/all characters.

Ons & Offs: My O/O's.
Specific Character Ons: Tenderness, Foreplay, Passionate Sex, Rough Sex, Soft Sex, Oral & Vaginal Intercourse, Romance, Teasing, Restraints, Blindfolds, Being Dominated, Light-choking, Bath Intimacy.
Specific Character Offs: Anal, Fisting, Mutilation, Pregnancy, Needle Play, Toilet Play.
Listed 'Maybes' I'm Open to for this Character: Non-Con, Dub-Con, Exhibitionism, Multiple Partners, Light-Blood Play, Gags, Humiliation, Physical Abuse.

Place of Origin: Born in Columbia, South America.

Occupation: Saloon Girl/Courtesan/Prostitute

Personality: As a girl of her position should be, Catalina is good at playing her role as preferred by those around her whether that be someone confident and assertive or coy and innocent. On her own terms, she is a girl hardened by her misfortunes in life to a degree where she finds it very hard to trust. She is social, friendly and approachable, but ultimately its very hard to get into her good books, for her to consider you someone she can rely on and possibly call a true friend. Catalina longs to escape the world she's been forced to entertain and wants to expand her knowledge in certain aspects of her life, such as her ability to read and write. Her ambitions are not known to most around her, a lot considering her unintelligent because of her place of birth and heritage. She can be witty and sarcastic when in the appropriate surroundings or company and isn't afraid to hold her own when absolutely necessary.

Known History: Catalina has lived in Silver Springs since her mid-teen years, originally born in what is now known as Columbia. Her mother was a servant woman and whore to a married Englishman and they lived on his estate, an outhouse of squalor, where she met Catalina's father, a fellow servant and conceived her. Though slavery had been abolished by this time, their conditions were hardly improved and their pay was mostly withheld to afford their food and living expensive. The estate owner found out of his servants transgression and at first chose to allow the mother to keep her child, so long as her duties were met. Catalina was subsequently put to work as soon as she were able and spent the majority of her childhood working until her mother passed away due to untreated illness. Her employer no longer wanted her and held an illegal auction attended by those of upper-class, covertly selling to an American man who took her to work for his family much further north. They were poor, hiding their debt and stresses from their upper-class community, still purchasing as if they were in their prime for the sake of societies prying eyes. Catalina continued to work as a servant for the household, having to comply with the duties that came easily to her, and others that were more unfamiliar. The man who had bought her was abusive when he drank too much, which happened to be quite often, and tended to favour her above the other young girls for certain services. At the age of fifteen, she was given away again, this time though, she was exchanged in payment for some of their debt, to a whorehouse and Saloon in Silver Springs, a town a few days from their home, where she would have to work off their arrears within slave-like conditions, her pay very little in comparison to others in her position.

Dark Secret: Not Common Knowledge.

Skills:
Pleasure: As is her job, Catalina has been pleasuring men and women alike since she was very young and therefore is very skilled at it.
Language: Though her English is heavily accented, Catalina was raised speaking Spanish and therefore is comfortable in her native language.
Good Listener: Another part of her job is listening when clients feel content enough to open up to her; something else she has come to be extremely good at.

Extra: N/A

Well, Catalina and Bingbing are in the same line of work albeit under different conditions.

Yes it takes place in 1882, while the wild west was at it's most wild.

I think a lot of the lingo comes down to how educated someone is back then. It'll be a cool effect to be as accurate as possible, but it won't be the end of the world if the lingo isn't perfect.

Hee hee... it would be embarrassing to say how much times I spent looking up info on the transcontinental railroad to see if it went through Colorado, finding out what years the Chinese laborers arrived, deciding what region would be the most likely to be hailed from in order to have the right dialect listed... and then say to myself "Self, simmer down. There's gonna be vampires in this thing."

Yeah I don’t think we need to be too worries about the lingo, as long as our grammar is ok though. lol

Untamed Skies

We don’t want to get too wild with the setting, but yeah you don’t need to be perfectly accurate. But I’ve been doing research to try and get a mostly accurate setting myself. I discovered Colorado’s travelers guides used to make mention of the best Brothels in the state. Probably my favorite fact that I’ve learned.

I mean why not to attract the most attention. XD

I’m excited for the RP nonetheless, more curious around the ideas of the rumors that have spread about the Blackwood Fram and family. I find it particularly funny that in the intro regarding place of interest, people avoid the place due to Charles reputation, but young woman still go to visit the spectacle.

Not sure if it means the farm of Charles himself, but I find it funny if it’s the latter. XD

Have fun with it! :D
