I've gotten the sense from a few people who have shown interest that there is a hesitation to take on a frat or sorority character out of concern that one wouldn't be able to play it right. If it's any consolation, I don't think many, if any, of us know all the ins and outs of Greek life. It's understandable that some of what transpires might not be accurate to the real thing, and that's okay! If the interest is there, anyone is welcome to give it a try.

I don't think there's just one way a frat or sorority functions, really.  Some are centered around charity work, some choose their members based on academics, some are societies based on social standing and legacies.  So, I don't think you can do it wrong.

To ease any kind of anxiety about playing a frat/sorority right, I was in a sorority in college. So any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer. But also, this is fiction! So I wouldn't worry too much about getting anything "right."
