I'd say they're more spread throughout the books. Each one of the three "cores" has a piloting class (Seeker, Bounty Hunter, and Pilot) and each one has different things for modifying ships. Special modifications has a bit more, but mostly it has building custom gear like droids and complete rules for building equipment.

Keeping the Peace has the rules for armor crafting for some reason though, and Endless Vigil has lightsabers.

Like i’d said, the 2400 is just so much cooler. Less clunky and more sleek.

2400 looks like a frisbee with an empty paper towel roll glues to it.  Not my idea of sleek.  600 is a much better design.  Then again, I think it is a symmetry issue.

This will always be my vote for a starting ship. Enough room for everyone plus plenty of cargo, can turn some of the bays into specialty rooms like a medbay and engineering room.

That is a nice one, but the YT 2400 is my personal favorite. It has a bit more space and carrying capacity, and YT’s are notoriously customizable, a big plus for smugglers.
