H-Game Pathfinder (NC/Ex)

The idea behind this is, if I am honest, inspired by H-Games or whatever they are properly called.  Basically a setting where everything revolves around sex, and as a result defeat, failure, and bad luck all result in it.  This will be a Pathfinder game, mostly because I can’t think of a better system.  That said, advanced (modern-ish) technology and clothes will be around.  So while combat is mostly swords and bows, mechanical devices, vibrators, and other devices may exist. 

The main thing I am looking for is a specific type of personality/character.  A kind of innocent optimist (or ditzy optimist) type who is somewhat oblivious to consequences, even if she has run into them before.  Other options might be kind-hearted slut, and maybe hidden masochist.  Basically I am looking for characters who will take a pounding and keep coming back, even if there were long-term consequences. 

I am, at the moment, only looking for female characters of the above tropes (or ones that are very similar).  I prefer human or near-human races, I am not a big fan of small-races but won’t outright ban them, however I am not open to races that are outright inhuman such as Tengu or Ratfolk (basically, preference given to rubber-foreheaded aliens).  I am open to most official classes, though anything evil will take a good backstory/reason to be involved.

The basic premise is that the characters have only recently arrived on the island in response to a call for adventurers and the promise of great rewards.  Beyond that it will be fairly sandboxy, with missions available through an Adventurer’s Guild, and wandering around being an option.  I am fully in favour of personal goals/quests, and will do my best to work them in if they exist.

The game will be rated Nonconsensual-Exotic, and a heavy focus on sex and smut is intended.  Defeat, failure, poor choices, and so on might all lead to it.  I won’t drop a boulder on the head of the characters and instant-defeat them, but in general encounters will be stacked against them, and I have a habit of designing situations which I have no solution to (that isn’t to say there isn’t a solution, but rather that I am looking for you to get creative).  In terms of specific kinks, gangbangs, bondage, enslavement, and so on are all intended to be something of a focus.  That said, I will be asking players to keep a note in their header on whether they are willing to have a smutty scene with anyone they are fighting/encountering, and whether they are looking to have their character enslaved for at least a short while.



The setting is intended to be a bit silly, and will be expanded as we go.

Setting

Skyspear Island, named for the volcano that rises miles into the sky from its center, has long been an oddity in the world.  The oldest texts say that the island was once the meeting place of the Goddess of Passion, the Demon Lord of Lust, and the Arch-Devil of Control.  When the negotiations broke down, the three were cast down and entombed within the world to stop a war between heaven and the hells. 

In recent memory Skyspear Island has been a sprawling wilderness broken only by a small network of towns and village and a single port city.  The city of Freehaven has existed on a bay on the southern edge of the island for as long as anyone can remember.  A major trading port, it sees ships from around the world hoping to buy strange items found only on Skyspear Island.

The entire island seems blessed, or cursed, with a powerful magical effect that can only be counter-acted by antimagic fields.  A wound, from a small cut to a mortal stab, heals nearly instantly.  The victim is left drained and, if severe enough, all but incapacitated, but they won’t have even a scar.  Death is still possible from old age or from decapitation, but under normal circumstances mortal damage will leave the victim helpless, but not dead.  The result is an almost casual treatment of violence, and a massive arena culture.  Grievances are often settled by duel, and as long as no one dies, even the law rarely bothers to intervene.

The people of Skyspear Island are strong believers in personal freedom and personal responsibility but, strangely, slavery is legal and common.  A regular punishment for crime is enslavement, and while the supply of slave collars is controlled, there is still a booming market of kidnapped people turned into slaves.  The latter is officially illegal, but once the collar is worn no one asks questions.  A slave is the property and responsibility of their owner, and no discussion of how they came to be collared is ever raised. 

The Adventurer’s Guild of Skyspear was founded in an attempt to bring peace between the civilized towns and the wild tribes.  The monsters would refrain from killing, and in return the ‘heroes’ would as well.  With the bulk of the monsters being male, supposedly due to an ancient curse, the Adventurer’s Guild has agreed to exclusively hire women.

I am looking for players who can post at least once a week, and preferably more often.  I say once a week as sometimes that is all I am able to manage.

I am looking for players who can and will be pro-active.  I don’t like dropping random events on the group just to keep things moving.

I am looking for players who are interested in high-volumes of smutty content.  Potentially happening as much or more as anything else.

I am looking for players who are fine with a bit of a sandbox, and with their character sometimes being alone, and usually being with small (but revolving) groups. 



I don't have a set number of players in mind, but I won't be going first come first served.  Depending on interest I might keep things open as I start, or I might close it and limit players.

30 Point Buy, but one ability must be at a 7 (and cannot be raised with points, nor do you gain the extra points from it).
2000GP, but with the understanding that equipment may get destroyed and/or stolen.

I dislike Mythweavers (and really anything else that I have to open offsite), and if possible would prefer sheets are posted in their completion on Elliquiy.

This sounds like it will be really fun. I have a basic concept that follows the kind-hearted slut idea. It leaves her open for some interesting side-quests and misadventures, also.

My character would be a ray of sunshine. Eternally optimistic and utterly gullible, she believes that if she just goes along with the way things are, everything will turn out okay. She's soft, pampered, and comes from a wealthy family that is disappointed that the eldest daughter turned out to be such an airhead. With no business acumen, they dote on her but do not take her seriously. In an effort to change the low opinion her family has on her, she has set out to become a famous adventurer! She has heard about Skyspear Island from her father, and how dangerous it is there for someone like her, but she does not heed good advice and slips away in the night to prove her worth. 

I am new to Pathfinder and will make some mistakes and ask lots of questions. It means I'll be a little bit of maintenance, but I learn quick - promise! But that's something to take into consideration before choosing if you'd like to invite me to join and I thought I should be upfront about it.

Seriously though, I'm interested!  "Innocent optimist who is somewhat oblivious to consequences" sounds like the sort of character I enjoy playing.  I also enjoy the sort of smutty content you seem to be advertising.

My initial thought is to play a princess who's secretly trained herself as a warrior, and has run away from home to prove herself.  She'd be brave, enthusiastic, and almost certainly unprepared for this sort of thing.

I absolutely would like to play in this game.  I'm comfortable with most sexual situations even the occasional capture, bondage and slavery.  I think it would be terrifically fun to play in a game where things are stacked just enough against us to lead to an interesting, sexy situation. 

My character would be a human ranger who was raised far away from civilization by a wood elf loner.  He'd found her abandoned in the wilderness and rather than take her back to the human lands adopted and raised her.  She is curious, optimistic and well attuned to nature.  However due to not only her isolated upbringing but deliberate choices of her 'father' she is very trusting of others and naïve about the ways of civilization.  She is sexually inexperienced but curious and innocently sensuous.

Putting sex to a system is about the least sexy thing there is, IMO. You know if your character is getting worked up, and probably the DM can tell too, if you're writing it... and can impose penalties if need be to reflect that, but, really, "You're horny, roll your Constitution vs. DC 20" is... bleh.

Performing great deeds both on and off the battlefield: wielding magical and possibly curved swords to vanquish evil in one hand, and giving out cake recipes with the other hand to the starving bread-less masses feeding them for not just one day but a whole lifetime! Never giving up: every setback is a trial of perseverance to prove her faith, and every retreat is a tactical rearwards advance to regroup and rally!

Background: There once was a sickly little girl whose condition confined her to bed with only books to keep her company. In those pages she escaped from her dreary room into realms fantastic, filled with great heroes battling it out with terrible villains in breathtaking landscapes for the fate of the world. She prayed and prayed that if only she would get better, she would devote her life to becoming a heroine of justice just like the great heroes she had read so much about.

And as Alicia grew older, she did get better and her health returned to normal, thanks of course mostly in part to her devout prayers with the slightest of honorable mentions to the expensive world-class healers who had watched over her. Now Alicia was a young woman of her word, and she resolved to become a heroine of justice just as she had promised. Only the best tutors would be worthy of training up the future heroine, and the best tutors she got, mastering the arts of pen and sword in harmony.

When Alicia came of age, she sought to grace one of the holy orders with her hard-earned skills and latent talents. It turned out to be a much more difficult task than it had initially appeared, because she was, simply put, just too good for them. During medical screening for the order of paladins, she was found to be lacking a stick in the ass, and as possessing said handicap was a requirement to join the paladins, lacking one she was simply too flexible for the rigid, regimented order. During an aptitude test for the order of clerics, she scored low on both the wizardry nerd quotient and the dominatrix sin index, with a record-breaking wiz-domme score so low that it proved her both cooler and more virtuous than even the head cleric.

A lesser woman might have despaired, but Alicia carried on with her trademark resolute focus and finally found a cause and organization suitable for her to join: The Adventurer’s Guild of Skyspear Island, which was in straits so dire that it was offering great rewards in exchange for aid. It would be a long trip far away from home, but all her family and friends were so super supportive of her selfless decision to embark on her personal crusade to help those poor monster-terrorized people living so far away that the heroine of justice was moved to tears as she finally set out on the first step of her very own road to heroism.

Description: Lithe, dark - occupying the borderland between alluring and terrifying.

Personality: Lydia desperately wants to be a good girl, but there's that little bit of dark elf in there somewhere that has so far proven impossible to purge. Most of the time she can hold it together though, balancing her devotion to the cause with the times she is forced to do necessary (and potentially bad) things for the greater good. But sometimes there are whips and chains... oh my!

Background: Lydia's foster parents never really spoke about her ancestry (except when they cursed the darkness in their daughter and attempted to beat the Drow out of her... good times). They made it clear that the only route to salvation was through the church and that, was her early life experience. Also spiders... but her parents never really understood that part.

Eager to please, Lydia put her heart and soul into this education, after all, she really wanted the bullying and name-calling to stop and being a good daughter would certainly sort those particular problem out. *Narrators Voice* It didn't

Only when she was finally ready to take holy orders did things change for the better. Sister Evangeline was amazing. She showed Lydia that sometimes, in order to make sure that the light could triumph over the shadow, its servants would need to engage in morally questionable activities. And, if there was one thing Lydia knew she'd be able to excel at, it was morally questionable activities.

To be clear, I don't want a system for sex by itself.  The idea of having such a system isn't to make die rolls every time you get intimate, it's to modify die rolls you're already making in a dangerous situation to reflect a character's state of mind (which, considering the theme of the game, is likely going to be "aroused").  The intent is to have a system that lets you say "You're too hot and bothered to think straight, and your mind is constantly drifting into lewd territory, you're going to have a hard time focusing on picking the lock on that door without triggering the trap".

But it's not a necessity, of course.

I like all the concepts so far!  There is certainly enough interest to get started.  As I plan to keep groups small, even if I take a large number of players, I will start accepting players but leave this open for at least a couple more days.

PAC is probably better than Cleric, so I don't mix it up with the class. 

Not in general probably.  In general it would be left up to the player.  That said, give the nature of the game, I do reserve the right to use potions, traps, magic, and other such things in a sexual way.  Whether that be a 'poison' that is an aphrodisiac, or something else.  In general I will probably be reskinning things though, and leaving the details up to the player.

I have an idea for a tiefling former circus preformer with the rogue class (acrobat archetype). She would have been with the circus most of her life, mostly sheltered from the normal world making her shy and a bit naive, but craving the praise and attention she received from her preformances. She would have the fiendish sprinter (hooves) maw or claw (fangs) and prehensile tail alternate racial traits and I was thinking for her appearance I would use this image

I have twothree concepts that come to mind for this, if there is still room:

• A street performer bard who basically does comedy routines in the street. Very much sunshine and optimism and getting into trouble because the world is not kind to street performers.
• A gladiator fighter whose combat performance routines involve strong comedic and sexual elements.
• EDIT: Of course, there's always the possibility of a vigilante, which could work well in a city setting like this. Sexy vigilante shenanigans practically writes itself! Doubly so for a magical child vigilante! I already have one of those almost ready to go, in fact.

(It has occurred to me that it's possible to build an entire adventuring party as a travelling comedy troupe.)

If I'm not too late, here's what I'm thinking, concept wise. The character fancies herself a naturalist and anthropologist, very scholarly, high-minded and such. She came to the island to study the flora, fauna, and people's... FOR SCIENCE!!!

only trouble is, she's gullible (good int, bad wis) and has in the past been convinced to partake in "ceremonies," or gotten rather "hands on" in her treatise on the orcish anatomy, and feels delighted to have been a part of those vines pollination process!

Basically a scholastic ditz who not so secretly craves prurient knowledge.
