The Marquis' wife

Henri Monfort, the Marquis of Aurais is by all measures a successful man. Having inherited his title but not much more from his father, apart from a mountain of debt, Henri has set forth to the new world, where he had made a fortune in the tobacco trade. Now one of the richest nobleman in France, he has turned the old family estate, which had fallen into disrepair, into the envy of all but the Sun King.

Unfortunately, the time devoted to rebuilding his ancestral wealth and standing, as well as the many years spent in the New World, meant that Henri had never taken a woman.
Now 57 years old, the time to produce an heir to give both his title and wealth to is growing ever shorter.
Eventually he is convinced to marry, in spite of his advanced age. To this end, he writers to an old friend of his: Louis de Vauteur, a landed Knight whom had joined Henri on some of his earliest American voyages.
Louis de Vauteur had also made his fortune in the new world, though his wealth is more modest than the Marquis'.
But the reason for him contacting Louis is very specific: Henri is aware of the fact that Louis is guardian to a young woman who has been warded at Louis' home. She is the orphaned daughter of one of Louis' cousins.
The Marquis makes an offer that neither Louis nor the young woman could ever refuse: an offer of marriage.

I am looking for someone to play Henri Monfort, the Marquis of Aurais.
I will play his very young new wife, who will initially be reluctant about the union.
She had some hope prior to her engagement to Henri to marry a young, handsome night whose lands border on Louis de Vauteur.
But she and her guardian Louis are in no position to refuse the offer of marriage of the wealthiest Marquis in the Kingdom.
