So! I finally got a concept nailed down and ive started working on the sheet. But I'm having a hard time finding a picture that fits... Been looking for two days @_@, so i was wondering if any of you might have anything that works?

What i am looking for is a strong (anywhere in the scrappy/fit/muscularish zone, but not full grotesque/amazon) female with extensive body tattoos (abstracts, like tron lines/tribal/simple designs, not animals or asianic picture-tats), who is unarmed or carrying a huge sword. Dark skin, long hair, a fighting stance and decent clothing are ideal, but not required.

  Zaer, how much am I lagging behind if I don't give her a template?  Or just give her Advanced and leave the rest blank?  Is there a Phrenic template for Pathfinder?   

  Alternative, if I did a guy who was 1/2 fiend (Maralith), +4 CR, would I be 19th level, Mythic Tier 9?  Or no mythic teir at all?

I'd like to use this template to make someone a Colossal sized Character (or a similar template since that one might raise a red flag with how it handles Hitdice) along with this template to add the all important ability to shape change back into something of medium sized, - and as a added bonus it allows a Godzilla/Dinosaur form too! Double the B Movie mania for the same template!

Those templates are Green Ronin & probably not allowed? I can look for some others (or you might suggest a race or template to work with?) If that's the sort of crazy you might be interested in, I was thinking of playing a lass who likes terrible B movies, VR games to do more than you can into another world where she can fly & pretend it's more real than it was... And well, playing the villain sounds like fun Let me know if I should throw in a sheet or go back to the drawing board.

A Quick Character Bio

Name: Something utterly cheesy like Cherry Kiss?
Race/Ethnicity/Gender: Female, European Ancenstry. She's slim, pretty enough & noticably short - something she tends to overcompensate in VR games with taller ... fuller figured characters.
Occupation: Cherry lives in a family home. She doesn't pay much rent - but she does work at the local bar a few nights each week. She studied Environmental Engineering - only to discover the engineering boom had settled done by the time she'd finished. Still, she's happy.
2 sentences briefly describe yourself: Cherry offline is quiet, patient & considered - as if she was playing chess. Online she is an verbal emotional explosion into the mic with risky maneuvers & excessively dangerous gameplay. Cherry is often the reason Guild Raids go really well - & really badly...
Reason why joined Iscardians: Honestly, it was during a B Movie Marathon & Gaming that a mod introduced her to an Iscardian Representative. Somewhere between The Palace of the Hideous Mole Brain & Horror of the Hungry Fog Cherry decided they would be a good challenge - of course she'd have to create a new character. Something appropriately villianous to walk amongst their fabled halls. Something inspired as well... So Cherry spent the next few weeks playing her utterly hopeless diplomacy character, exploring the romance quests a third party content provider had added to one of the zones. If you romanced folk of position & title, their different races would unlock new character options. Most folk did these to get half-dragons & Half-Fiends/Angels etc. But you can try to unlock even rarer character options if you can hit DC 40s & DC 60s diplomacy checks. And if you know where all the right buffs and enchanted fountains are... And happen to have a high level cleric, mage & druid in the guild to borrow some spells from... Well, you can unlock some truly amazing things... And then you get to start again, with an entirely new character...

Of course, Cheery set her sights on the Faerie Queen - just to earn the title of Princess (of the Fey) - and she could then play Titania... Half Fey.. Half Titan... And overcompensate for her ... well everything.

Background: Cheery's mother died in high school. She was adopted by her grandparents, but as much as she liked them, she moved out into her mother's house as soon as she was able. She grew quite reserved after her mother died - only really showing her wilder nature online, away from the world. Taking up work in the bar, she was never too popular - but never not either. She is bright - having a knack for pushing the VR systems. But then, she did do an environmental engineering degree. So pushing the numbers are kinda her strength from that. She likes to hang out online where she can be anyone - and well, getting to be the villain is fun. Especially since she can be her own B Movie scene... Often she tries to set up guild raids (& even counter raids) to fit the awful plots of some new movie or other that she's found... Much to the delight & annoyance of everyone.

Let me know if the idea is acceptable enough to pitch a sheet or a few other ideas to try & work it?

What are some of the ones that have the right build? Are you looking for something more like the D3 lady barbarian?

By not taking templates, your 3 CR behind. PC classed characters get 20 class levels plus 3 CR of templates. Monster characters get up to a total CR of 23. If you go PC class, templates (or just advanced races) are the only way to get those last 3 CR. From what Zaer has said, if you don't get a full 20 class levels due to monster CR, like if you took a +4 template, then you wouldn't be eligible for Mythic Tier, and would instead have to do Mythic Rank. The differences of which were discussed earlier in the thread.

In addition to the Advanced Template, you could do Half-dragon or Animal Lord for +2. Animal Lord in particular can get some pretty great bonuses and is only as 'non-human' looking as you want it to be really. You could also potentially just play a high-CR race that has no racial hitdice. Zaer might even let you make one via the Advanced Race Guide rules. Just play a super-human with way better than normal stats. You could also play a halfling with the Giant Template xD

That could be pretty fun! While the Gigantean creature template is green ronin, the Fey Creature one is Paizo. Paizo does have the Giant template though, which only bumps you up one size, but doesn't add any racial HD. That means you would still qualify as a PC class character. Those two together would be your +3. You would be Large size at base, and there are a decent number of other ways to get bigger, at least temporarily, but they typically cap out at Huge.

Since the Gigantean creature template would have sent you into monster territory, you could just play a true giant of some kind, or even just a an actual Titan. Cloud and Storm giants are Huge. Adding the Giant template would take you to gargantuan, and they're humanoids so enlarge person and the like works on them. You could also just play an Elysian Titan, which are already colossal, and the Fey template would just fit. You wouldn't get any class levels though with the Titan though, and any of those options would force you into mythic ranks over tiers.

btw Zaer, sine the half-dragon breath weapon is utter shit compared to the sorcerer or bloodrager's version, can I use that to tabulate damag einstead of racial HD?

I allow half-dragon's breath weapons scale up based on their HD in general (than just racial).

Muse&Kimmy: Knarfy nailed the both answers good (or even better) than I would had . So indeed if you take no templates and take just 20 levels (so can go mythic paths) you got 3 CR which can be used on templates or pick more advanced races or base creatures (drows are CR 0 but drow noble is +1 CR base creature example). You can create custom race with race build rules (albeit need do bit math how much race points you can invest up to CR 3 worth if none templates look good).

Also for Kimmy; indeed you can take pathfinder template + fey creature templates and qualify for paths. Or go full 'monster' with Elysian Titan with CR 21 (or CR 22 if want also 20 levels as cleric in divine spellcasting wise which is pretty sweet deal).

Quick question: How big is the footprint for the guild hall? I know the walls are 20ft tall and the keep is 3 levels above ground and 1 below, but you didn't give a number on exactly how large the whole thing is. I would be fine leaving it abstract, but it's gonna make a big difference in the cost for things like plating the walls with walls of force and the like depending on how big this place is :)

@Snake - You can get some pretty cool minions for not all that much. Or you could invest it in the castle

I already invested 880K into the castle! I took my 4.4 million starter and divided it by 5 then gave that number as a castle investment Primarily toward defense structures and troops like a barracks, garrison, etc etc.

Well I think troops would probably come in as minions.

I've got a small company of juiced up knights that I'm contributing in that regard, though I may mess around with them still.

Right now, I'm looking at some cool spell effects for enhancing the fort. Namely:

Permanent walls of force cladding the outer curtain wall, and maybe the main keep. This would cost about ~7gp per sq foot of wall.

Permanent Mages Private Sanctum on the keep. This would cost about .75 gp per sq foot of floorspace (30ft high)

Permanent teleport trap coverage might not be a bad call. That costs about .325 gp per sq foot of floorspace (40ft high)

A moat filled with Permanent solid fog or stinking clouds. Assuming the moat wasn't more than 20ft wide and 30ft deep or so, it would cost somewhere between 200-300 gp per linear foot of moat depending on a bunch of factors.

Permanent symbols of death would cost ~25,000 each. All the other symbol spells are also options, at varying costs.
Permanent teleportation circles are 23,500 each (I can make these as we need them)

Now how about some admantine portcullis?

Lets see.... Suitably giant gates would be at least 30ft wide. Lets say it's made of 1x2 inch bars. Admantine ingots are listed as 300gp/lb. A 30ft long 1x2" bar of steel would weigh about 209lbs. So each crossbar would cost 62,000gp for just the material... Yea, that's gonna get expensive. Thinner bars would halve the cost. A smaller gate would also reduce the cost. But honestly, for that much, we could probably just have iron portcullis enchanted with permanent walls of force for less xD

Am I correct in thinking the Mythic Subtype/Mythic Ranks don't give you the Base Mythic Abilities?

Which you will see only grants ability score bumps, mythic feats, and increased surge dice as part of the normal progression. You do still get these:

Additional Mythic Abilities: The monster gains a number of mythic abilities equal to its MR + 1. Such abilities can be drawn from the mythic path abilities or the mythic abilities listed with the monsters, or it can be a new ability you create by taking inspiration from those abilities. These abilities should be thematically appropriate for the creature.

Some new monster abilities are especially powerful; at the GM’s discretion, they can count as two abilities toward this total. For example, the mythic fire giant’s fire vortex ability could count as two mythic abilities.

In place of a mythic ability, the monster may gain a universal monster ability, such as rend or pounce.

Which you can use to get some of those base mythic abilities, but you only get 11 total, so choose wisely ;3

Its kinda disturbing that out of all the monsters and part-monsters in this group, i think the human character im making is the scurriest.

Human Writhing Thrasher Brawler with Advanced the Implacable Stalker templates, who specializes in sundering, dispelling and intimdating/fear. Whos basically immortal and unstoppable as long as someone nearby fears her.

I think she may have been abit creepy even OOC for our guild.

(which reminds me. Writhing Thrasher is okay right Zaer? I used it in another game we were both in, the pirates one, and you seemed to like it there. ^^ )

Also, while im asking questions; Do you want me to use the proper Amulet of Mighty Fists? Or can i just use it like a normal weapon enchant? (ie, the Paizo version costs x2 and maxes out at effective +5 compared to enchanting a normal weapon. The 2x cost is fine since it covers both hands.. but i would really like to beable to fully enchant my munderfingers instead of having to stop at effective+5)

Not my favorite item, but you could theoretically combine it with the amulet to get a +5 enh bonus all the time, and then have +6 worth of abilities on 4 attacks per round. So not the worst thing ever

Weird piece of crap that piles a bunch of rules on what should be a simple and forward process (using a enchanted weapon) while also making it more expensive to do so and eating a item slot. I mean, i could dual wield effective +10 broadswords for less than what it costs for AMF+bodywrap, and they would have their abilities active all the time instead of this per-attack stuff.
