I think this would be interesting to explore as a potential inspiration for a roleplay.

I especially like the aspect of these women traveling halfway around the world to tie their lives to husbands they will not have met before setting foot on the New World.

Unfortunately, I could not run such a game myself, as I have an active group game for which I am the GM already and I don't have the time to take on another.

But perhaps some other person who likes the idea could assume GM duties?
