So i dont know if anyone else feels the same, but after watching Videos of "Nioh" and "For Honor" it has made me want to see the two worlds crossed over in some kick ass cross over for a group game. :P

Just picture it. Fighting Evil Onis alongside samurai, and then Frost Giants beside Vikings, before fighting vampires or Demons with a legion of Knights. All for (and possibly caused by) Amrita which caused the terrible cataclysm that forced the world into a new era. Its powers can heal the sick, bring Crops to life, and with enough of it, even bring the dead back to life. It is a valuable tool and is sometimes used in the forging of weapons, armors, or the building of defensive structures, t increase their strength, resilience, and power. But all magic, comes with a price. When Amrita is used too much, it can poison a person, bring out the worst in them, and weaken the barriers between this world and the next.

The barriers between the mortal world and the one beyond our perception, are weak. And thanks to it the monsters of our legends are pushing through, and wreaking havoc. But not all hope is lost, with proper control one can prevent being tainted by Amrita, and not all of the spirits from the other realm mean us ill, and many will throw their lot in and give us some of their power to give us meager mortals a fighting chance against the horrors from beyond.

But, the other world is not the only source of our problems. The Blackstone Legion is using Amrita for dark purposes which threatens to open the way for something more horrible than the evil that all 3 factions fight against. Unless a band of heroes of each tribe unite to fight against the True Enemy. Perhaps with help from those outside of our pangean continent.

Just an idea and was curious if anyone else might have an interest in it.

My interest is certainly there. Since I've been throwing hours at both of these games, and being mediocre at both, I'd still love to RP something in this sort of world. Add in Guardian Spirits and some crazy techniques and you could really make this a hell of an action RP. A small group consisting of one or two from each faction would be amazing in my opinion.

Short answer, count me in.
March 2020: Working Retail + Virus Panic = Brain not work so good. Expect slow intermittent replies as sanity slowly drains and is returned.

Revelation

The concept sounds like a ton of fun, i'd be interested for sure.

Guardian spirits alone gives us so many options for play, like Vikings being able to summon the great Sleipnir, the very horse of Odin or Huginn and Muninn, the Crows of Odin (Memory and Thought). The Knights could be able to summon Angels to their side, I mean the old Testament ones, the Angels that look like a series of wheels with eyes, and wings, or the giants with multiple heads.

We could even expand things and say that beyond the ocean are other continents with stores of Amrita as well, add in an area of the world with a Mayan empire, or a magical Arabian esque region that is dealing with rogue Djin.Or we could set sail, hunting down Appolyan and seeing an India like region with terrible Nagas prowling the wastes beyond the cities.

The possibilities are near endless. :)

Glad to see others like my idea. I just hope we can find someone to GM for this cause I am an atrocious GM. :(

So many fun possibilities.

Even presuming not that many people show interest I wouldn't be opposed to making this like a three or four person RP. I mean a small group could brainstorm a few things. I wouldn't exactly throw myself in the ring as a GM (mainly because I haven't GM'd anything outside of D&D and I'm still slowly working through Nioh) but I don't see why this couldn't happen on a small scale since the idea is too good, in my opinion, to pass up on.
