Hello all and welcome to the interest check for Hero: Justice League Origins!

The purpose of this roleplay is pretty simple: to take on the personas of our favorite DC superheroes and re-write their origins. From the first time they donned cape or cowl, to their first major world destroying villain and beyond! This roleplay will feature many elements in parts that will add up to a whole and will make the experience all the much more satisfying. I apologize for the half-baked synopsis but I'm no good at summarizing without rambling so... onto the specifics!

*This RP will be taking place in either the Bondage, Non Con, Or Extreme Group boards due to darker elements I want to introduce. Not all hero stories are sunshine and rainbows, I would like to reflect on that fact.

*The setting is obviously the DCU with focus on major cities and worlds within. I promise not to make it too sandbox-y for the masses!

*Posting will be somewhat lax. I ask for maybe two or three posts weekly at minimum. I also requests post be at least three paragraphs in length with 5-7 sentences each. All writing will be done from the third person p.o.v. to help the overall narrative flow better.

*Sexual activity and content will be involved, but I would like to ask please do not turn this into an all out smut-fest. We are heroes trying to save the world damn near 24/7 and allowed to unwind every so often.

*A tagging system will be included in order to clear up any confusion between characters and interactions between 'em. Though it is possible for Superman to hear Batman talk crap about him from halfway around the world, it doesn't necessarily mean Batman will hear the smack talk right back!

*I would like to keep this group small towards the beginning, but depending on interest I would not mind adding more heroes to the roster.

*Currently I am looking for the core members of the League but won't go into too much detail until this gains some speed. I will post up a character sheet template now so feel free to drop it here for approval.

*Currently not seeking co-GM's but depending once again on how large it grows, I have no problem tacking one or two on!

*Please abide by all Elliquiy rules!

*No god-modding.You do it, we cut you from the game. I have ZERO tolerance for God-modders.

*We are all adults here, disagreements may occur but please conduct yourself in accordance with your age and general standards of civility. Respect your fellow players and take any issues to PM to work it out amongst yourselves. If an accord could not be reached, please do not hesitate to grab up the GM so that she may make a fair and impartial decision to resolve issues.

*Non-consensual activity is permitted, however, players are NOT required to participate. Any non-con activities MUST be approved by all players involved. Anyone who violates this rule will be dropped from the game. Also, if your posts contain something of a squeamish nature, please be sure to include a big and bright WARNING!!! tag to your content line. This does not apply to writing out combat, battlefield gore is fine.

Sounds like it could be fun, but do you have any limits\requirements for characters?
Are they all just starting out or have they been operating independently for a while? etc. etc.

I currently have no limits for character creation but I would suggest maybe sticking with some core members at first before branching out.

To answer your second question I would like a mix of both with some heroes starting out while others have been doing the solo thing for a while before hand.

To that end, I will be reserving Wonder Woman as my character. A c/s may show up in the next couple of days!

I'm interested. Don't know all that much about DC, but I'm willing to learn and research. In fact, I'll be taking on Barry Allen/Flash. Reading about him now. Just don't expect me to know much about forensic crime solving lol.

Diana is a woman graced by the goddess Aphrodite's gifts. With her long raven black hair, crystal blue eyes and statuesque yet imposing figure, Diana looks like a runway model who also packs a pretty mean right hook.

Personality:
Diana is a very compassionate and kind woman underneath her tough exterior. She believes in fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves, easily sliding into the role of Champion for the people-- all people. Despite her good intentions she is sometimes led into spots of trouble, because of her naive and innocent ways after being sequestered on Themyscira for most of her life, which sometimes leaves her vulnerable to the outside world's wicked ways.

Abilities & Equipment:
Divine Empowerment: Diana's half-Olympian blood grants her a few extraordinary abilities such as:

Inhuman Strength: Because of her divine nature, Diana's strength is nearly on par with the likes of other superheroes such as Superman and Martian Manhunter. She is able to outclass other beings like Supergirl easily.

Inhuman Durability: Diana possesses a high resistance to both physical and magical attacks. Though her durability is not on par with the aforementioned superheroes above, due to her divine blood and the Amazon's amazing healing factor, she more than makes up for it. That is not to say that human weaponry can inflict considerable damage onto her. She can be caused grievous injuries, so long as they do not prove fatal. 

Flight: After taking damage from one of Hermes' feathers, Diana has gained the ability to fly at high speeds.

Inhuman Speed: Diana is able to think, react, and move at inhuman speeds. She is easily able to keep up with the Flash, so long as he keeps up his 'cruising speed'.

Inhuman Reflexes: Diana's reflexes are far and above any normal human and most supers. She can easily dodge a barrage of gunfire and take on multiple opponents at one.

Inhuman Agility: Diana's reflexes are far and above a normal human and most supers' agility as well as her balance and coordination. It makes her that much harder to hit at times.

Inhuman Stamina: Diana can last a very long time in a fight against just about anyone due to her Amazonian physiology producing zero lactic acid build-up in her muscles.

Enhanced Healing Factor: While not able to heal the most serious of injuries in mere minutes, Diana is able to achieve this feat with just a few hours of rest. Her body also shows an amazing immunity to most poisons, toxins, and diseases.

Ageless: Due to both her Amazonian and Olympian blood, Diana does not age beyond her prime, allowing her to retain her youthful, physical prowess, and reflexes indefinitely. This ultimately makes her immune to a natural death.

Expert Hand to Hand Combatant: Trained by Ares himself, Diana is one of the finest Amazonian warriors around. She is a master of both armed and unarmed combat with just about any weapon ever crafted as well as a master of the Amazonian combative arts.

Strengths:
Enhanced Intellect: Diana possesses a great deal of wisdom and intelligence that speaks far beyond her years.

Compassionate: Diana is known to be an extremely compassionate woman, helping the weak and down trodden to stand up on their own two feet and fight. 

Weaknesses:
Innocent: Though Diana is known to show a great deal of compassion and can see the good in everyone and everything, it has sometimes led her down the pat of trouble. She is still unused to the ways of the world outside of the island.

What they said. Is there only one female or "other" gender roles available? I mean, I only play males, but that is my personal preference. Perhaps you should slightly expand the roster, or perhaps the origins? Maybe an occasional genderbend?

I know there are not many founding female characters which is why I am okay with opening up the roster to include some more notable female members like Hawkgirl and Vixen to name a couple.

Only established heroes or can we throw in our own creation we have come up with?   Also as far as the female hero score and we are talking about tweaking origin stories no real why Kara Zor-leas an adult super girl, or power girl, could not be in the mix.   Also maybe some takes the challenge and gender bends Batman.  I would love to see the creative effot and outcome of that.   My  2 cents to add to the discussion here

I would like to keep with established heroes rather than OC's, once again a personal preference. I'm not sure if I understand the rest of your inquiry, as it is a bit jumbled but I will endeavor to answer for clarity!

I should have made it broader by saying that all members of the League are qualified to count as 'founding members' for this rp, considering that there will be no League until it forms through the magic that is rp development.

While genderbent supers would be a beautiful novelty to the RP, I think I will only approve them on a case by case basis. While trying to breathe new life into the League, I want to keep it a bit close to the source material as well.

I know Butt (Divine) and I think she meant the originals for now. OC's aren't quite accepted yet. She wants the core team before it expands.

I'm not open to original characters at the moment though the idea doesn't sound half bad. That may have to be on a case by case basis however.

Umm, I'd like it if Bruce was still Bruce, but Thomas Wayne as Batman does add some flair. Let me think on it some more?

Gotcha, I'll put some thought into it. Should we hold off on 'derivative' characters like Batwoman? Because I could totally play a mean Batwoman, or even Supergirl.

Otherwise, I could mull over a few ideas. Maybe Hawkgirl (I suppose she's technically derivative, but I'd argue she's more well known than Hawkman at this point) or Black Canary.

Hey there! So far no one has reserved Batman, so I see no problems reserving him for you. If the group remains at a small number, then I will consider the ingress of allowing up to two or three extra characters!
