So I'm really excited about this game guys.

Emjay, just out of curiosity, what kind of obstacles or enemies will the Guardians be up against?? If it's a secret that's okay, but the anticipation is killing me.

I'm more than happy to answer questions. I will try to answer without giving too much away.

Well I know I stated in the game info that the characters will be attacked by Metaria's former allies who have been assembled by "Queen" Beryl who is calling the group The Dark Agency. To go more in depth these characters are individuals that were from either the Earth Kingdom or the Moon Empire whose souls were corrupted by Metaria. This could bring lots of potential for IC drama if the Guardians happen to know any of the Dark Agency members from before their corruption.

When the Guardians are first awakened, although they may not receive all their past memories and their entire sense of self, they will receive a good portion of it. It's going to be jarring and emotionally distressing. They are going to awaken and realize that everyone they've ever known (other than the other Guardians and the Celestial Companions) is dead. The world as they knew it is gone and it can never be brought back as it was before. They will have this immense responsibility thrust upon them to protect the people of Earth from the potential of a Metaria take over as well as having to fight for their own lives.

For the battles I am hoping for them to be gritty with a sense of very real danger. The group will not only have to work together but will have to have confidence in their abilities as fighters which might be difficult considering that they don't have the full breath of their skills just yet and they haven't fought for centuries. I am hoping at some point to allow characters to write past life scenes, like a sort of history or memory thread. This a guided sandbox game so I will have side threads for characters to write in outside of the GM scenes. I also encourage writers to create connections, not just in the present but specifically in the past life. Once more character sheets have been accepted I will open up an OOC so everyone can get started on building connections between the characters.
