Modern/Realistic
The Gigolo
Setting:
Modern/Realistic.
Themes:
Escorts/Prostitution. Romance.
Summary:
Dexter was fortunate enough to be born into a family of considerable means, something he took for granted in his youth. To his parents' dismay, he flunked out of college and burned through his trust fund within five years, a combination of events that forced them to cut financial ties with him until he sorted himself out - he never did.
Ever the resourceful one, Dexter suffered only a few setbacks before finding a calling in providing his services as a male escort, one willing to service women and men alike. Building a list of steady regulars was not an issue, but with an ambitious streak a mile wide, he found it much more lucrative to seek and maintain an exclusive list of core clientele, each willing to pay him larger sums for specialized, on-demand service. For those individuals - two women and one man - Dexter goes above and beyond to supply not only a lover in the bedroom, but also a companion for business travel, a date for family affairs, and so on, in exchange for a bi-weekly, five-figure paycheck.
Possible scenario:
A new male client (one of considerable financial means, maybe referred by one of his semi-regulars) seeks Dexter's company for a strictly non-sexual affair. Could be that he's simply too busy focusing on work to carry on a successful personal life, and so to keep his family from prying any further, he hires Dex for a few family/social events to hang on his arm, bring him drinks, and laugh at his jokes. Romance definitely isn't supposed to be in the equation here, but as the paid interactions continue...
Perhaps the client is a bit on the awkward side, fresh out of the closet, and looking to gain a bit of confidence by having an experienced man on his arm at a social function. From there, they could progress to the point where Dexter adds this new client to his core list. He could accompany him on vacations, to business dinners, perhaps even to family functions to help the client become more comfortable being out, with sex being a secondary and optional service, rather than the primary reason for their arrangement. Ideally, I would love to see the two develop a genuine relationship at some point down the road. And of course, they would then have to work with the reality that Dexter, despite his suave, seductive nature, has absolutely no idea how to be in a committed, loving relationship.

Gotham
Setting:
Modern/Realistic.
Themes:
Any.
Summary:
After getting all caught up with the latest season of Gotham, I'm dying to play Edward Nygma. Not going to lie, I don't have a solid plot in mind for him just yet, only the strong craving to write good ol' Ed as he gets closer and closer to becoming the Riddler. There's no saving him, no bringing him back from the brink of insanity. He's perfect as he is, and I'm looking for his partner in crime.
Whether your character is an original character or someone already established in the DC universe is up to you. I'm happy to discuss just about any pairing possibility, provided the person you choose is capable of either keeping up with his growing fondness for madness, or simply fueling it. Fueling it would be preferable.
In this context, Nygma will have already served his first stint in Arkham, partnered with Cobblepot, and will just be getting his footing. He's already started envisioning what will eventually become his infamous death traps, although he's not quite there yet. He's still gathering the resources. But where there's a will, there's a way.
The details of his new relationship - as far as their working partnership, and eventually their sexual relationship - are completely up for discussion. I'm up for nearly anything, with the exception of non-con, as I don't think that has a place here.

Mental Hospital
Setting:
Modern, maybe modern fantasy.
Themes:
Bondage, possible dub-con, possible edgeplay, eventual (twisted) romance.
Trigger Warning:
Cutting and possibly other means of self-harm.
Combating a lifetime of numbness and a lack of purpose, Phoenix likes to cut himself. He likes it so much, in fact, that the habit has almost killed him on numerous occasions. He's been in a mental hospital for some time, long enough that he knows how to get around the orderlies who would deprive him of the sharp things he needs to get through the day.
It's in the hospital where he meets either...
A.) A kindred spirit who also thrives on pain.
B.) Someone who likes to inflict pain on him.

Off the IceThemes:Opposites attract. Romance.
Summary: A figure skater and hockey player walked into a rink and...
At the age of twenty-two, Levi is an accomplished solo figure skater training for his first professional competition. Devoted to his art, he throws himself mind, body, and soul into each practice, embellishing the ice with a catlike grace and elegant flair that has won him multiple titles, securing for him the chance to become an international star.
Liam, on the flip side, is a rugged hockey player in a minor professional league. Bold and entirely ungraceful, he has a considerably more relaxed approach to life, choosing quality time with friends and family over rigid discipline whenever possible. This has not, however, prevented him from becoming a crucial player on his team.
It's at a large rental rink where the unlikely pair first meet, where an accidental double booking sees Liam's hockey team showing up to practice just as Levi takes to the ice to practice. Initially, there is a touch of hostility between the groups, owing to the team's lack of respect for "prissy" figure skaters and the coach's prickly demeanor. Levi and Liam, on the other hand, find themselves quite drawn to one another. Where Levi is inexplicably attracted to the athlete's easygoing nature, so too is Liam attracted to the skater's wit and inherent grace.
The problems lay in the smaller details. Levi loathes hockey, finding the sport brutish and unnecessarily violent, while Liam has absolutely no interest in the art of figure skating. What's more, none of Liam's teammates know that he's attracted to men, and as it is, Levi is far too busy training to entertain the notion of a real relationship. But that doesn't stop them from sneaking off to see each other, either just before or just after practice...
Expectations:I'd prefer to play Levi. Also, I didn't have a strict top/bottom arrangement in mind, so those details will be up for discussion.[/size]
