Holy Uncanny Valley Batman, that's right on the edge and off the chain.  :-\

...yowsa. A friend of mine likes to claim that showing emotion is impossible.

Though, going to be awhile before that shows up in games, methinks.

I'd love to be able to render my characters this faithfully...  :o

Its pretty impressive alright. I wonder how much longer it will be before actors are unnecessary for films. It certainly seems we're heading that way.

We'll probably see it in the porn industry in a year.  :-X

There's an interesting thought. Replace the face of the porn actor/actress with the celebrity of your choice. You can have anyone doing anything to anyone. I wonder what law that would be against :)

Just as long as it doesn't end up in some public area, I'm sure it wouldn't matter. Other than that it would be a matter of getting them to sign the proper paperwork.

We're talking about the Net here. It'll be public before the CGI is dry ;)

Impressive... though her eyes are still a little weird. There were a lot of moments during "Polar Express" where I 'knew' I wasn't watching CGI. Not the faces mind, but many other scenes.

Plenty of her facial expression remind me of Alyx on the Source engine
