Awww, what a cute cuddlefest... Sneaks away with the win in sneakers.
Why the win was wearing sneakers, I've no idea.

Fortunately, the Win knows its true mistress, walking back to Birdy, strange sneakers and all.

[Boatman]

'Don't give in to the hypnotising pendular gyrations of Birdy's assets,' Boat calls out.
And, thankfully, at the last moment, win turns and is saved a reverberating end.
Boat carries win off to mysterious lands on a large paper glider, he somehow manages to throw, yet also jump on board.

Unfortunately for Boatman, even the winds cannot resist Birdy's patented Dance of Seduction, blowing the paper aircraft backwards and sticking it in a tree, the Win literally falling into the feline siren's hands.

The assets have it, I think!

Gyrates away.

Oiling himself up, Boat manages to fighting his way through the seductive tide of magnificently alluring and swaying protuberances to grab the win.
Then, he literally slips away with it, albeit rendered breathless, into infinite chasms of the otherworld.

From the shadows, darker still eyes watched (read) with a sincere gleeful smile on her lips so blue as the events folded out to be etched in time. Such a cruel and unfair mistress time (offline life) had been with her!! What better way to show rebellion than to tread this way and add to the frolicking masses that hunted to claim the win! All the better was to seemingly stand in Boatman's path as she wears a smile of sweetness aimed at him. Considering the climate (the rules) of this road (thread), surely he would stop. It was then she would wave a hand in the air to conjure sparkling blue mist that captivated all who saw it. Spun with the hand reaching, plucking at the very air as if collecting invisible threads. A sudden jerk of her hand, the win stole to the air from Boatman's hold, landing now in her protective and greedy embrace.

Like you nay saw this forthcoming, Boatman.

With a wink and grinning smile now fitting her features like a certain ever elusive grinning cat, she blew Boatman a kiss before spinning on her heels and dashing away.

On removing his anti-sparkling blue mist (and kiss) sunglasses, Boat noticed the thread of the road was actually very visible... Indeed, it was caught on a thorn and led up hill and down dale to where a now unravelled and freezingly naked dark eyed lady lurked protecting her modesty with a couple of plucked leaves.
‘I’ll take that win, dear Mime,’ Boat ventured with great and almost genuine sounding sympathy, before plucking the honour from her stiff fingers and making a speedy exit with the kiss returned.

Birdy simply reaches out and plucks back the Win, just to be the mischievous kitty she is.

[Boatman]

Boat refuses to do any more plucking and tickles Birdy until she drops the Win, which he pockets before slipping away into another dimension.

Birdy, being unfortunately very ticklish, dissolves into a puddle of pleas and giggles, until she realizes Boatman has absconded with the Win. However, Birdy happens to be very good friends with the president of the Underworld Ferrymen's Union (UFU), and makes a few calls. Soon afterwards, the Win and a letter of apology are presented to her, along with an invitation to attend the annual Ferryman's Ball.

It pays to have friends in low places.

*Peeks in to steal the win after long absence. A smile sweeps across my face. Thinking that Song bird couldn't be more right. Then steals the win while no one is looking*

Except, that Boat was looking, from behind the cover of his patched cloak of invisibility.
An arm sweeps the Win from Gypsy's grasp and the smile from her pleasant visog.
He would show off his prize at the Ferryman's Ball...

The Ferryman's Ball was delightful, and much frolic and naughtiness was enjoyed. Boatman was looking remarkably handsome, and remarkably smug as he showed off his prize. Fortunately, the rooms were lit by candlelight, and Birdy, looking particularly delicious in red silk, was able to exchange the Win for a Magic 8 Ball, carrying the former home with her in her purse.

The problem with ferrymen is their penchant for picking up a thing or two left behind by their passengers.
So much so that attendees arriving at and departing from the Ferryman's ball are monitored.
And thus, it came to pass that Boat recovered the win and retired to the country a happy man whilst Birdy ended up in a gilded cage.

[Songbird]

Trapped within her gilded cage, Birdy sang to relieve the anguish in her heart, the beautiful yet sad aria weaving through the air like a ribbon of shining gold. All who heard her sing were overwhelmed with compassion for her plight, until at last they stormed Boatman's ferry and retrieved the Win, giving it to the delighted Songbird. Unfortunately, she still could not leave her cage, but so long as she possessed the Win, her songs would be filled with joy.

[Gypsywoman]

Gypsy decided to take pity on the pretty Songbird and set her free. For small fee .Which was the win of course. With win hand Gypsy disappears into thin air.

[Songbird]

Feeling a little sad to leave her cage, Birdy goes out into the wide world, singing her song and serving hot beverages. Fortunately, one of her grateful patrons rewards her excellent service with... a potato, which she later traded for the Win.

[Boatman]

Boat, laughs. 'Oh, that old Win! It has been doing the rounds for some time. I have found it best not to trust hungry potato traders.
Now, as for the win I have here...'
Boat checks the date, then sighs.
'Onion traders too it seems.'

[Songbird]

That's odd. An onion trader just passed by and handed me this!

Holds the Win aloft for all to see.

[Kurogane]

Tweaks one of her nipples to distract her; then swipes the win from her!

[Boatman]

Noting the enormous size of Kuro's sword, Boat thinks better of challenging him with his own puny weapon. Instead, he activatesa the suspended electromagnet which soon has the brave knight all a dangle.
Boat catches the dropped win and makes off into the sunset.

[Songbird]

Birdy rides past on her pink motorcycle and plucks the Win from Boatman's grasp, waving as she passes.
