Right, here is my submission for the role of Overwatch, a sniper. To be followed with Kingmaster1's submission of a heavy Player:
Eve. Also Subject Eve203948.01Actual Age:
Deducting from the vast number of copulation partners she have had during her life (1), she's empirically a heterosexual. Appearance:
5'4" tall, at a weight of 117 Lbs, she has a long pitch-black wavy hair, though originally a redhead, which you could notice by the paleness of her ivory skin, No piercing, one tattoo- a micro barcode on her inner navel skin. Nationality:
Apple Inc. Languages spoken:
English, French, German, Italian, Chinese (mostly Mandarin, but she can understand Wu and Yue), Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew and the occasional Klingon (one of the developers' idea of a joke)* Modifications:
-Untraceable cranial implant, extensively modified with advanced marksmanship strategy nerv-catalysts, optimizing her real-time strategic algorithms, probability assessments and the various required calculations, speeding her perception in times of intense battle to see everything in slow motion, thus making her able to react almost inhumanly fast and focus on and execute multiple objectives in a shorter period of time- almost simultaneously. Basically, it turns her into a walking-talking computerized and extremely versatile sniper rifle.
-Telescopic optic implants embedded into her Cornea, allowing her the option of zooming in on distant locations. It would also serve to enhance night and thermal vision.Specific skills and abilities:
-Built in night/telescopic/thermal vision.
-Extensive sniping training, she's thoroughly versed in most sniping rifles, single-shot bolt action rifles, her favorite rifle of choice is a variation of the L115A3 AWM, though she has been known to use one of the AA-12 sledgehammer when stealth is less needed. She was trained with Laser guns, mostly experimental developments of the company, but seeing as those are not very practical for mobile units, let alone an agent designated to working in the shadows, she classifies it as irrelevant.
-Agile. She is extremely agile and acrobatic, easily able to find her way out of sticky situations that require a quick and sometimes impossible escape, which also means she can avoid blows in close quarters, even though not very effective in landing them.Weapons and/or equipment:
-Light body suit, with Kevlar plates located where they won't impair her movement.
-Her guns: L115A3 AWM, AA-12 sledgehammer, Beretta 92 with a silencer, a Taser Gun and a sawed off M16 (because you can't beat the classics)
-A basic burglar's kit, so she could infiltrate her 'nests' (the high spots which she settles in to do her sniping), along with a mobile and very basic security system hack, in cases of emergency extractions where the resident Sys-Op won't be available. Weakness:
-Unstable: she's a bit of a wild card; she was extracted from the Apple institute prematurely, at the middle of her psychological profile reconstruction process. Sometimes she can be a bit out-there, prone to panic attacks. What she needs during those times is her big brother to calm her down and reassure her.
-Physically Weak: her hand-to-hand and melee training programs haven't been completed before she got bailed out of the institute. Disarmed and cornered by a physically capable individual, without her brother there to protect her, she will be completely defenseless.
-Not of nature's design: She was designed exclusively by and for the Apple corporation, they modified her genes extensively, and manipulated her mind as well, planting all sorts of psychological triggers and physical anomalies that could be set off at any given moment. The possibilities are countless as they are unpredictable. I will leave that entirely up to the GM, respectfully :) Personality:
Eve is mostly a pretty quiet young women, keeps to herself, prefers small and closed spaces, a bit of an agoraphobic individual, you could say. She can come off as intense at times, and unresponsive at others, depending on her current psychological state of mind. She can be sweet, mostly to her older brother, and those she trusts- although she's extremely picky about them. To say she is ruthless would be an overstatement; she does what her brother asks of her, and takes orders from those that he has asked her to obey. She will get the mission done, without any sentiments this way or the other. Objectives must be achieved- it's as simple as that.Bio:
Apple Corp.'s genetic laboratories and training facilities are the only home she has ever known. Throughout her young life she has been poked and prodded at. Sleeping, eating, undressing and effectively living behind glass walls, inside of a see-through cage, with at least one individual in a lab coat watching her at all times, usually taking notes. Every test score, every statistic, every response, every sigh, pant and cry of pain, every breath and blink all registered and analyzed by a platoon of scientists, behavioral specialists, special force trainers etc. It was her father that did this to her. Of course, she never knew him as her father; she called him "Professor D". He was the head of the team that led the 16 years long project to create the perfect soldier: A spy, a hacker, a sniper and a warrior, all in one genetically modified individual, programmed to hail in the next generation of trafficked mercenaries, superior in many fields, but mostly by the fact of their morally uninhibited methods of acquirement (genetically engineered, not "real humans") and the versatility of the projects. Apple's new line of products- The iSoldier.
After created in the labs, using cells from her older brother, Eve was immediately introduced to a world of cruel testing and training, psychological manipulations, various unpleasant diets, countless and relentless lessons, uncompromising expectations and the cold and inquisitive stares of the scientists that were her handlers, teachers and wardens. That was probably the most damaging injustice she suffered by the hand of the company, the lack of human warmth, not a kind eye- let alone a kind touch- throughout her life at the institute. She didn't miss it, she never knew any better, but the same thing wasn't true about Professor D. He, who only agreed to manage the project in order to grant his dead wife's only wish, to birth a daughter, had to witness her suffering for a long time, evidently too long, long enough for the pragmatic and cynical scientist to grow remorseful and sentimental.
He wanted to free her, liberate her from all the cruel experiments, the inhumane expectations and monstrous fate the Apple Corporation has designed for her once she was 'done'. Knowing that the company would never allow it, he worked hard to make preparations to her escape… too hard, it seems, as the company was soon on to him and had him eliminated. Professor Dewitt, however, was clever, clever enough to be crafty, crafty enough to realize they were never going to let him free her, so he made arrangements to make sure someone would follow in his footsteps in case anything happened to him, namely his son, Adam DeWitt.
Following his father's plans and using his contacts, Adam was able to rescue Eve, and meet his younger sister for the first time. The two had an immediate connection, a bond like no other. He was her rescuer, her angel, with kindness in his eyes and softness in his voice, he treated her like a fragile china figurine, but his warmth promised more, much more. The protective bond soon turned into a more passionate one, her guardian angel also became her lover, slowly and patiently teaching her the subtle ways of love and carnal pleasure, and she indulged every last second of their stolen heated moments, while still on the run. Five years have passed since they first started to run, doing as best as they could to make sure Apple has lost their scents, before trying to find a new home. That home could never be a respectable legal one, so they went with the next best thing- a secured one, the Iron Fist organization, joining in as a team of two: a tank and his young sister of a sniper.
*I know you wanted us to take on mostly languages we can actually speak, but Eve was designed as a universal soldier, being fluent in multiple languages is sort of a given. I'll try and live up to that overreaching standard.
