Being a bard, I can do some healing, and will even let you guys choose which archetype I play.  Would you like the Magician? http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard/archetypes/paizo---bard-archetypes/magician or the Archeaologist? http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard/archetypes/paizo---bard-archetypes/archaeologist

Either way I will have some healing abilities.  Really depends on whether you want a rogue type or buffs.

My Lucy is already pretty buffy, so might as well go for something weird with the bard. I got bulls strength, haste, invisibility, and a flaming whip for added measure!

Sounds good.  Rogue-type it is unless that craps on Triggvi's concept.

Blinkin', divine spellcaster's don't fit the Guild, just arcane.

(If I were desinging the game, I would have had the guild employ some muscle and maybe some divine power, but I see where he's coming form.)

*hugs*  Sadness.  I was hoping to see what you'd do with a Magus or Summoner, Blinkin.

From what little Iv'e seen of Fairy Tale, someone should play a Dragon Bloodline sorcerer going Dragon Disciple.

I'm personally torn between that and resurrecting my Witch, Rinda the Wind's Kiss.  :)

  *  *  *

*Smiles*  She's hot, Nikki.  (Pun intended.)

Any thoughts peeps?  Also, whats good gender politics for this game?

Ulkpatha, do you want some non con goodness? Or shall we focus on adventure and romance?

Go dragon bloodline, that way we have a hot head who is always getting the rest of us in trouble. We need a plot trigger character, and blowing shit up tends to do that.

  *Grins*  Okay, I will.

Trig, 3 rogue levels will eventually qualify you for Arcane Trickster.  (And the second rogue level will get you Evasion!)

Nicci makes a good point about plot device chars, and I think a dragon disciple makes sense, Muse.

Luna, I would adore playing with you.

gender politics? As for non con goodness it will be left up to whatever each player wants.

I would adore playing with you as well.  :-)

I will try to work on a character tomorrow morning when I get home from work. I'm not familiar with Fairy Tale, but hopefully that is not required?

Fairy Tail. And you'll only need about 3-4 episodes to get the idea.

Thanks sweetie.

After talking with Triggvi, I decided to go with the Sound Striker archetype.  He will have healing spells and be able to make ranged attacks without using weapons or spells (for 18 rounds at level 6).  He won't do as much damage as a 6th level wizard would, but he will be less squishy and be able to heal.  Besides, he'll be unique, and I look forward to playing him.  Will do a sheet this weekend after coordinating with Luna.

Well, I'll be playing a bit of a hotheaded scimitar wielding magus with the dervish feat.

Ok... I REALLY need to start reading more carefully... I saw summoner, and that didn't interest me much, but as Magius was pointed out and I just took a peek at it, this one does interest me and could get my juices working... if there's still space, I would like to throw my hat back into the ring with a magius. If this is acceptible, I'll start on a character tomorrow.

Already is a magus with shadowfox.

Could there be more than one?

Likely playing a sorc, myself, but I'm asking that for Blinkin's benefit.

I think we'll be fine if we double up on stuff. There's only so many arcane caster classes after all.

Also, there are archetypes.  So two people can play the same class and have completely different roles.

I was tempted to go Kensai, but wasn't sure if it'd fit the theme of things... Very tempted though.

I don't see why there can't be two magus in a party. I can't tell you how many parties I've seen with doubled of some class or another. It's like saying that you can't have two fighters or two rogues in a party. ;)

I'm still looking at archetypes, but if doubled types is going to be an issue, no problem.

it doesn't sound that way, dude.  You and Shadow are the ones who have to be comfortable with two of the same class, and you seem to both be.

Melania Rouge
Chaotic Good Elf Magus (Kensai), Level 6, Init +6, HP 57/57, Speed 30ft
AC 22, Touch 22, Flat-footed 12, Fort +10, Ref +10, Will +9, Base Attack Bonus 4
-2atk with spellstrike +1 Scimitar +12 (1d6+7, 18-20/x2)
  Longbow +10 (1d8, x3)
 (+6 Dex, +2 Natural)
Abilities Str 11, Dex 22, Con 16, Int 18, Wis 15, Cha 14
Condition None

Personality: Melania is hot tempered, stubborn, and fierce, doing almost everything with a zeal. She is extremely protective of her guild and her friends, throwing her life on the line if needed. This tends to end up with Melania starting a good number of fights and, subsequently, causing extreme levels of property damage. Despite her temper, Melania is very intelligent and can analyze a combat situation to utilize the best tactics needed at the time. She loves to party and have fun, which is often a surprise to those who only know of her destructive nature.

Background: Melania Rouge is the daughter of Nyx Rouge, a retired archmage. Always living in her mother's shadow, Melania split her focus between martial and arcane studies, much to her mother's disgust. Why learn the blade when the spell is much more versatile and powerful. Still, if there was one thing Melania inherited from Nyx, it was her stubborn nature.
So Mel left her mother's tower and sought a master of the blade. Though he gave her no name, claiming to have given it up long ago, the swordsman taught Melania for five years after much pleading and challenging. Before her training could be completed, Melania caught wind of disturbing news, her mother's tower had simply vanished. There was suspicion of magic involved, of course, but few knew of such a powerful spell as to shift such a massive structure.
Melania joined the guild a bit after. Since then, she has proven herself a loyal, if somewhat hot tempered, member.

Since we're copying Fairy Tail anyway :P
