I have once. A few drinks too many, just moved to a new place, and the instructions from the bus driver as to how to get home forgotten even before I was out of the bus. Pure luck guided me back home to my bed.

Guilty as a matter of fact. More specifically I tend to shut people out, rather than shut myself in, but the overall effect is the same.
