I have no problem with more Wizards. We can make character ties if anyone likes whether they are a Wizard or not. Also I am good with a discord for ooc and dice rolls.

With the possibility of at least some of us playing supernatural characters, I'd like to ask: are there setting rules in place on the nature of the supernatural? I.e. are there angels and demons - and, if so, are they from the actual Christian-style Heaven and Hell? Also, the gods - are there gods from actual mythologies around? Or does "god" denote a being more like Cthulhu etc.?

Oh, and BTW. Is the existence of aliens already confirmed in the setting?

Very good questions Beorning, lets see here.  I need to formalize some language.  This is stuff where Bishrook influenced my version of the setting a lot.  (And we drew some one werewolf: the apocalypse too.) 

A.  Wizards and supernatural people know how to pass into an area called The Shadow which connects earth with other worlds.  We can call them "Dimensions" for lack of a better term.  These other worlds are not places we could get too by flying in a rocket ship.  There are silver paths that seem to radiate moonlight that help to navigate this area.  There are a also beings you might call 'sprits' who dwell here.  These are more like concepts and forms that might temporarily anthropomorphize than like people. 

B.  The stories of gods, monsters, and fey from this setting are basically beings who travel to our world from their own along these silver paths.  At one point after the destruction of Babylon these beings lived openly on earth as a sort of supernatural nobility.  Many were cruel and capricious.  Some decided to teach us or treat us well. Memories of these beings have passed into legend and become our early ideas of gods.  If one of these beings said he was Zeus he might have been the original Zeus but it's at least as likely that he's claiming the authority of Zeus to get his stuff done.  Sometime before the destruction of Atlantis the coalition of worlds that actively did this to keep an eye on us dissolved.  There does not seem to have been an agreed upon stance on how to treat earthlings since the destruction of Atlantis.  Some people try to leave us alone.  Some consider us primitives who might be enslaved or snatched away for a few years as amusement.  Generally, when these folks have been friendly it's been a matter of individual choice. 

C.  If there's a Milton style heaven and hell accessible from the Moonpaths we don't know about it. The wizards of the world don't have an agreed upon policy about faith and some of them try and find evidence of some form of religious experience that doesn't tie back to the moon paths. Currently the only evidence of angelic beings in existence is the Nazi supervillain Fallen.  Dr. Mengle said that the wings he grafted onto Fallen's back were from an angel and a Jewish rabi revealed how he could get them.  Fallen himself claims he doesn't know any more than that and Mengle's surviving notes don't seem to say anything about it.  It's generally believed that Fallen has been given some form of heavenly power from those wings which he has corrupted into hellfire and power over darkness.  The truth being this has yet to be discovered.  (Including by the one creating said stories.    )

  Is everyone okay with having a discord channel for OOC and dice?  Narrative style in character will be on elliquiy.  The default adult content will be fan service and encounters in side threads, but we'll be in NC Exotic System.  If you don't want to be part of an NC scene just let me know.   :) 

I am A-OK with using discord. As far as the NC stuff goes I am… well, uncomfortable with it, but not enough to run away screaming. So I’m hesitantly okay with my character being involved in it.

I'll be perfectly happy leaving your character out of direct involvement if you don't mind it happening with other characters.  :)

I'm fine with use of Discord for dice-rolling and the like, and am quite all right with the game being in NC Exotic.

On The Shadow... I had already been vaguely wondering about a shadow-based character.  Now a shadowy individual who can access The Shadow seems all the more tempting!  But I'll have to have a proper think.

Oh no, it’s fine with me for the other characters. For my character it’s fine for right now, just don’t be surprised if I decide I’m not okay with it later on.

I'm good with using Discord. Honestly, it makes planning scenes and such a lot easier if we don't have to wait on PMs. Do you have a PL in mind for us (I'm assuming PL 10 right now?)
