Much obliged - I've read through the background materials and have been reviewing the squad roster which has been helping. I've got a working draft right now I might PM both of you. Just want to finish some things up first.

Is this group still fairly active and recruiting? The last two groups I was in fizzeled out so I kinda gave up on the idea. But something about the plot for this really draws me in.

I'm not sure if what I want to make would mesh well either though. I was thinking of a russian handler, watcher? A sort of spy turned private contractor (seeing all these red sparrow trailers might have a little something to do with it.)
I figured I would just ask and see if that seemed like it would work well. Given the poly nature I want to make sure that if I made something it would be something with other players interest maybe? So opinions would be appreciated

GM Announcement || Hiya all!

I think this might be the hardest post I’ve ever written for E. I’ve edited it and rewritten this a couple times now and I just can’t seem to get the words just right, but it just needs to be said so here we go: Soldiers of Fortune is going on an indefinite hiatus.

Right now I simply don’t have the energy to GM a group game. You've probably noticed I've been kinda quiet this month. While I won’t really go into detail on it I have a recent health issue that I kept hoping would get better, but in all honesty it’s been progressively getting worse. I need to step back for a while and focus on taking care of myself.

I’m honored this idea generated so much interest. I love the characters you all created and it was a joy to write with everyone. With that said I totally understand if you guys want to continue the fun and keep on writing. SoF itself will officially be on a hiatus since at some point in the future if I’m in a better place I’d like to revisit this idea and the setting, but if you want to take your characters and create your own merc tale that’s totally alright with me. Your characters are your characters and I have no problem with another superhero powered private contractor group game being made.

I really can’t thank you all enough for being so awesome, but I’ll say it again. Thanks everybody
