Shadows and Dust... Just Another Soul.

Synecdoche17

So I was about done with a character sheet (picture and everything!) when I realized that all of the warrior women in the series were NOT D'Angeline (Grainne, Brigid, the Maghuinn Donn). So, uh, whoops, there goes that character concept. I'm rewriting it. Dreams, do you have a deadline you want sheets PM'ed to you by?

I think we're in an age where you can have them around.

Wistful Dream

Awe, well if you wanted to keep the concept it could be someone from Alba/Eire, like I said before I chose to place this between the Kushiel books and the Naamah ones.

As for sheets I was hoping to get them by this weekend; you are more then welcome to come chatter in the OOC thread if you like. My starting date at the moment is next Monday, since weekends are always slow. I'll probably leave the game 'open' for awhile too but yeah. Monday ^^ I am very much looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

I haven't read Naamah yet, if that's what you're referring to. :-)

No, simply that travel between countries would be less rare.

Also, the concept of a half-Angeline, half-Alban is not unseen, even in the second trilogy. You can make it work! (and if you can't, lemme know, I may be able to help!)

Well its after the Kushiel books, by about 80 years :)

This is still open to more people if they wish to join :)

Tempted, but I'll need a few weeks I suspect before I can really commit to anything :)

Well you know you are always welcome in a game with me :) And I understand with the moving and settling into a new job and all. If you want to talk over character ideas/concepts feel free to PM me about them ^^

HairyHeretic

I have an idea or two. A noble for one, maybe from Camlach. Maybe an adept of Gentian, half Skaldic, so one who uses the mystic knowledge of two cultures :)

Both ideas could be pretty awesome, though the half Skaldic....now that gets the mind to wondering!

HairyHeretic

Child of a slave, a village on the border, maybe even a foundling, born of one side but raised by the other.

True enough; experienced both cultures then?

HairyHeretic

Possibly. Still kicking the idea around.

Well I'm not really worried about you making a good character, I've yet to encounter one of yours that I don't like. :)

My biggest problem is taking on too many games at once, and spreading myself too thin. :)

I resemble that remark
