Would a professor teaching 'Wandless Combat' - a combination of Muggle-style MMA and magical augmentation? Being able to defend yourself when disarmed or against magic-resistant threats might be a useful skill to have, and a more progressive curriculum could accept it.

MIs there a list somewhere that I can reference of stuff that is already 'covered' before proposing anything else? The OP has a list of professorships that are claimed, and there is an index of approved professors, but neither of them described what those classes include in the new curriculum so I had no idea that a melee combat course was already overlapped.

Thats the hardest part of getting in to big games like this, sometimes it feels like everything is already taken by someone.

Are illusions considered a separate type of magic in the Potter verse? It seems like everything gets lumped into either Transfiguration or Charms when it comes to 'spellcasting'.
