Uncanny Avengers [RPG]

Rogue is looking to recruit heroes in New York City that will be willing to do the hard work. Tensions are high between humans, mutant's and inhuman. But other villain's and Psychopath's are constantly at risk of taking over the city. She is still under the guidance of Janet Van Dyne aka the Wasp who knows a thing ore two about getting a team together. Tensions are high and the other Avengers team is too busy saving the world to focus on keeping New York City Safe. But little do they know old enemies in the form of HYDRA have returned under the evil watchful eye of Viper, a twisted psychopath who is reaching out to anyone who will support her. The Kingpin of Crime, The Thunderbolts and Baron Zemo and the Hellfire Club all are willing to back her in a new Cabal of Evil.

Infermation:

1. This game will be focussing on Action primarily taking place in New York City.

2. The game is set in its own continuity with its own timeline in place but based loosely off the 616 marvel verse.

3. "Homebreweds" characters are allowed.

4. Characters like Jean Grey, ARE all allowed but not poessing godlike powers i.e the Phoenix force, no "Mary Sues".

5. Characters ages and backstory's willy varies but no character under the age of 16.

6. Created characters need to fit realistically into the marvel canon. IE be a mutant or an inhuman, give reason for their powers.

7. Just because a canon character was in a relationship in the comics doesn't mean your PC was.  It's up to the individual players.

8. This is not a sex focused game but rather a story focussed game. However it still will feature scenes when they occur.

9.  GM ran plots and allow for character/player developed plots as well, who are encouraged to make suggested plotlines.

10. The game is "sandbox" in style.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a freeform game, so fight scenes shall be discussed and planned with GM approval. I.E the outcome of a fight as we are not using a Dice system to determine such factors within the story. In many superhero fights luck and chance are factors to the eventual outcome and that will be taken into consideration here.
Former villain's may have been *Reformed* and are now heroes, but you need to explain that in their bios. It needs to be a credible reason. For example is Sabertooth still effected from the aftermath of the AXIS storyline and now has no violent tendencies?
Each player may start off and submit Bios for TWO characters to start off with. But if you claim more then one character you must be willing to write double the amount expected of a player with one character.
Your GM for this game will be VoluptiousVixen (main GM).
#1
Valkyire
Real Name:  Brunnhilde of Asgaurd
Group Affiliation: Avengers, Valkyires(Formerly)
Height:  6'0"
Weight:  135 lbs.
Arch-Enemies:  Hela (formerly), The Grandmaster
Nickname:  Scrapper 142, Angry Girl
Powers:
    Asgardian Physiology: As an Asgardian, Brunnhilde has superhuman abilities. ◾Superhuman Strength: Like all Asgardians, Brunnhilde possesses superhuman strength. However, she possesses far greater strength than the average Asgardian as a Warrior Maiden. As the leader of the Valkyries, her strength surpasses all the other Warrior Maidens, superior to that of Loki, and nearly matching with that of Thor and Hulk, the latter of whom she was able to knock down in a brief sparing match.
    ◾Superhuman Agility: Valkyrie naturally possesses greater agility, dexterity, balance, and body coordination than that of a normal human being, allowing her to easily jump and fall on her feet.
    ◾Superhuman Speed: Valkyrie can move at high speeds, allowing her to dodge a powerful attack from Hulk, to deflect a wave of projectiles hurled at her by Hela in rapid succession, and to momentarily incapacitate Hela with a sudden jump on the latter.
    ◾Superhuman Stamina: Like all Asgardians, Valkyrie's musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than that of humans, which allowed her to fight many Berserkers, and even the more powerful Hela herself, without tiring at all.
    ◾Superhuman Durability: Valkyrie's body is much more resistant to physical harm than that of a human. hence, she was able to withstand Hela's mighty attacks, falls from great heights, extreme pressures and temperatures and powerful explosions.
    ◾Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite her body's resistance, Valkyrie can be injured like any other Asgardian. However, her metabolism enables her to rapidly regenerate damaged bodily tissue with greater speed and efficiency than that of a human.
    ◾Longevity: Like all Asgardians, Valkyrie ages at a rate that is much slower than that of a human being, allowing her to remain physically young for thousands of years.
Skills:
  • Master martial artist, spy, swordswoman, leader
  • Highly intelligent, fluent in various alien languages
Bio:  Brunnhilde was one of the many Valkyries sent by Odin to fight Hela. Riding a winged steed, Brunnhilde and her fellow Valkyries engaged Hela in combat. Hela created a large amount of bladed weapons that she used to kill the Valkyries as they descended on her. Brunnhilde was the only survivor; following the defeat, she exiled herself to the planet Sakaar where she served the Grandmaster as one of his best acquisition specialists under the name "Scrapper 142." She had an antagonistic relationship with the Grandmaster's bodyguard, Topaz, but was favored by the Grandmaster himself. Scrapper 142 eventually found and brought the Grandmaster the Hulk after he was lost in space and landed on Sakaar.
Scrapper 142 brought the Grandmaster a new contender, Thor. Taking him from a group of Sakaaran Scrappers that intended to use him as food, she implanted him with an Control Disk and was paid ten million Units for delivering him to the Grandmaster. Buying alcohol near the gladiator's quarters, she was pointed out by the gladiator Korg as an Asgardian. Thor attempted to hold a conversation with her, telling her of the Siege of Asgard and Hela's return. Thor noticed a tattoo on her wrist symbolising her as a Valkyrie. However, she ignored Thor and left to watch the fight between Thor and the Hulk from her ship. After the duel, Thor once again attempted to enlist her aid to escape the planet but she again refused. Undeterred, Thor broke free by managing to get the controller for the Obedience Disk from her and disarming it. Displeased, the Grandmaster set Valkyrie and Loki to find Thor and the Hulk, who had followed his friend. She argued with Loki who also found out about her Asgardian heritage and used his powers to make her relive the battle against Hela. With the memories awakened, Valkyrie decided to help Thor after all. She freed all the gladiators in the Grandmaster's service to start a rebellion, while Thor and Bruce Banner – who she was unaware was the Hulk but felt like she knew – stole the Grandmaster's ship. Using her own vessel, she followed the Commodore and began fighting the pursuit vessels that the Grandmaster had sent after them. Valkyrie's ship was destroyed, and she used her Asgardian abilities to jump from vessel to vessel, destroying them with her bare hands. Thor joined her in her efforts before boarding the Commodore and escaping Sakaar through the largest portal known as the "Devil's Anus. On Asgard, Thor supplied Valkyrie with her traditional armor. While Bruce piloted the Commodore, Valkyrie used a large laser cannon to try and stop Fenris from attacking the Asgardians attempting to flee Asgard via the Bifrost Bridge. The weapon failed to stop the large wolf, prompting Bruce to unleash the Hulk to stop Fenris.
Valkyrie fought Hela's Berserkers on the Bifrost while the Asgardians boarded a spaceship brought to Asgard by Loki. She joined Thor in fighting Hela directly while Loki triggered Ragnarök by reuniting Surtur's crown with the Eternal Flame. As Surtur destroyed Asgard, Valkyrie joined the remaining Asgardians aboard the ship under the leadership of their new king, Thor.  However Thor abdicated the Throne to Lady Sif Once getting to Earth and Valkyrie decided to go to New York and Join the Avengers.
#2
Scarlet Witch
Real Name: Wanda Maximoff
Group Affiliation: Averngers
Height: 5'6"
Weight: never ask a lady her weight, but she is trim with a bit of nice muscle tone
Arch-Enemies: Hydra, Ultron, sorta/formally Tony Stark
Nickname: Little Witch, Weapon of Mass Destruction
Powers:
Psionics: As a result of exposure to the cosmic energies from the Scepter, Wanda Maximoff acquired an array of psionic powers, which manifest in the form of reddish, glowing energy currents and mist-like shapes. Wanda's powers are described as "neuro-electric interface." When using her power, her irises sometimes glow a dark, reddish color, especially when using her mental abilities.
Psionic Energy Manipulation:
Maximoff can project energy blasts, waves and bolts projecting her own psionic and telekinetic energy, allowing her to push/pull or blow away her targets, potentially exerting enough force to destroy them. This energy manifests in any shape and form, outlining her telekinetic spheres of influence, as the energy is visible in a reddish color. When a target of hers is hit with her energy, she can use her telekinesis to inflict further damage.
Levitation: Maximoff can use this power to move herself through the air and simulate flight, in order to hover and safely float back to the ground. The use of this power manifests as a blast of psionic energy expelled from her hands onto the ground to propel herself up in the air. It operates more like a enhanced leap similarly to the Hulk, thanks to the force of gravity pushing her down.
Psionic Force-Field Generation: Maximoff can create a highly durable barrier of energy that she can shape and deform as she needs to. She can grab and break apart targets, to protect innocents from enemy fire, contain a target or to cover and deflect attacks from the enemies. The barrier could be broken through extreme brute force.
Telekinesis: Maximoff has the ability to mentally move, levitate and manipulate objects, also can affect and control molecules and particles allowing her to fully control matter and energy, as well as physical forces(such as kinetic energy, gravity, friction, pressure, vectors, etc).She started training this power by moving wooden blocks around while imprisoned in Wolfgang von Strucker's secret facility. She pulled them apart with her power, and suspended them in the air, removing all motion and gravity from the pieces. Maximoff has used this power to create a shield to protect innocents from enemy fire and stop an off-rail train. Her emotions are linked to her powers as she unleashed a wave of reddish energy that disintegrated attacking Ultron Sentries when she sensed Pietro's death and cried out. Her telekinesis allowed Wanda to stop an enemy soldier's gunfire and throw him away, to lift up and temporarily contain an exploding bomb, to hurl aside attackers, hurl entire cars, to extract and dissipate an enormous amount of gas. Wanda's telekinesis is even powerful enough to break through Vibranium.
Telepathy: Maximoff can read minds or mentally communicate and experience memories and thoughts of others or project her own thoughts through a neuro-electric interface that gives her telepathy. While she was using her hypnotic powers in conjunction with this power against others, she herself viewed her targets' memories. When using her power, her irises sometimes glow a dark reddish color, especially when she concentrate it on certain targets. She also used this ability to temporarily merge her consciousness with computers. Maximoff can also sense the minds and emotions of those around her.
Maximoff is able to deploy a form of mental manipulation, often as a type of illusory hypnosis, using the same neuro-electric interface that allows her telepathy. She can use this ability to cripple targets, forcing them to recall the darker events of their past and put them inside daydream-like visions of themselves and that can subdue them. When this ability is in use, Maximoff's reddish energy takes a more mist-like form, floating into the head of the victim in the form of neurons. The effects also distort the victim's iris coloration, causing them to shine a dark reddish color. This also allows her to control other people's actions, causing them to experience a form of sleep walking. Maximoff's mental power is strong enough to reverse the effects of other forms of mind control. She can also manipulate the memory, thoughts, actions, emotions, and senses of others at will, as well as to induce sleep or pain and create illusions without any difficulty.
Fear Manipulation: With her power to manipulate the mind, Maximoff often used it in order to elicit fear or emotional pain in a person in the form of nightmarish hallucinations that could stun and weaken even powerful individuals. These visions can depict things that a person fears, regrets, or general disturbances, though the nature of it is not up to Wanda. She does seem to be able to know what her victim is seeing and be inside the vision with them, seemingly invisible to them.
Skills:
Plays Guitar; mainly spanish guitar and gypsy music.
Survival: she knows how to survive with little to no steady job by finding side jobs in any city she is in, gypsy by nature
Bio:
Wanda Maximoff is a native of the Eastern European country of Sokovia who grew up with her twin brother, Pietro.  At the age of ten, while having dinner with her family, a mortar shell hit their apartment building, killing Maximoff's parents and trapping her and her brother. A second shell hit the apartment near them but did not go off; the Maximoff twins were left trapped for two days staring at the non exploding shell reading the name on it, Stark Industries.
This horrifically traumatic experience gave the twins a great hatred for America, especially Tony Stark and later, the Avengers. They often took part and led protests against the Avengers. They dedicated much of their lives to this hatred and began searching for ways to bring down the Avengers. This constant political activity put them on S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA's radar.
In an effort to help purge their country of strife, the twins agreed to undergo experiments with the Scepter under the supervision of Wolfgang von Strucker's HYDRA cell, and achieved superpowers as a result, with Wanda attaining various abilities including telekinesis, telepathy, and energy manipulation. When HYDRA fell, the twins joined the robot Ultron to get their revenge on Tony Stark, but eventually switched sides and joined the Avengers when they discovered Ultron's true intentions. Pietro and Wanda survived and became a member of the Avengers. During the Avengers Civil War, they sided with Captain America and after their defeat, The Maximoff`s, Barton, Wilson and Lang were arrested and imprisoned in the Raft, where she was the only one outfitted with a shock collar and put in a straitjacket to prevent her from using her powers. Tony Stark visited the prison to find out where Rogers went and was disturbed to see Maximoff's condition.
Rogers eventually infiltrated the Raft and freed Maximoff, Clint Barton, Sam Wilson and Scott Lang from their imprisonment. Despite being wanted fugitives, Rogers told Stark that should he ever need their help, all he would have to do is ask.
Hero Name: Spider-Man
Legal Name: Peter Parker
Origin of Powers: Bitten by a radioactive spider
Age: 23
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Description (Appearance): Standing at 5'10" and weighing 165lbs, Peter Parker appears to be on the skinny side, though he has a surprisingly muscular build under his clothes.  He has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. He currently wears a costume similar in design to the original Spider-Man costume, the Spider Armor MK 4.
Civilian Wear: Brown leather jacket, t-shirt, jeans, and a pair of sneakers.
Powers:
- Superhuman Strength: Spider-Man possesses the proportionate strength of a spider, granting him superhuman strength. Normally capable of lifting 10 tons, he can push this limit while under extreme stress (sometimes all the way to 20 tons). His strength extends to his powerful leg muscles which allows him to leap heights and distances far beyond human capability.
- Superhuman Speed: Spider-Man is capable of running and moving at speeds that are far beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.  He once clocked in at around 200mph on a dead sprint.
- Superhuman Stamina: Able to exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair his performance.
- Superhuman Durability: The composition of Spider-Man's skeleton, inter-connected tissues, and nervous system had all been enhanced. His bodily tissues are somewhat more durable and resistant to impact or trauma than an ordinary human, although he's certainly not invulnerable. While tougher than any ordinary human being, he can still be injured in ways comparable to an ordinary human.
- Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: Spider-Man is extraordinarily limber and possesses tendons and connective tissues that are twice as elastic as the average human being's, despite the enhanced strength.  He's also faster and can react quicker than the average human by a factor of 15 (he was often able to dodge bullets only inches from hitting him). In combination with his spider-sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge almost any attack, even bullets only inches away from his face.
- Accelerated Healing Factor: While his healing factor is nowhere near as impressive as the likes of Wolverine or Deadpool, Spider-Man can still heal faster than an ordinary human being.
- Wall-Crawling: Possesses the ability to stick to walls and ceilings.
- Superhuman Equilibrium: Possesses the ability to achieve a state of perfect equilibrium in any position imaginable. He's able to adjust his position by instinct, allowing him to balance himself on virtually any object, no matter how small or narrow.
- Spider-Sense: Spider-Man possesses an extrasensory "danger" or "spider" sense which warns him of potential immediate danger via a tingling sensation in the back of his skull, enabling him to evade almost any injury, unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes.  It seems to respond to a wide variety of phenomena (everything from falling safes to speeding bullets to thrown punches), giving him several hundredths of a second warning, which would normally be sufficient time for his reflexes to kick in. The sense can also respond several minutes ahead, though he cannot discern the nature of the threat by the sensation alone. He can, however, discern the severity of the danger by the strength of his response to it. The spider-sense is directional and can guide him to or away from hidden weapons and enemies. Sudden and extreme threats can cause his spider-sense to react with painful intensity. Spider-Man can also sense and dodge attacks directed randomly or by computer.  His spider-sense  can even be triggered while he's asleep or stunned. His spider-sense has helped him preserve his secret identity since it alerts him to observers or camera while changing into or out of costume. The spider-sense can also react to those who Peter himself does not consider to be a threat. Spider-Man can choose to ignore his spider-sense, and distraction or fatigue diminishes its effectiveness. His fighting style incorporates the advantage that his "spider-sense" provides him.
Special Skills and Other:
- Photography: He may no longer work at the Daily Bugle, but he still knows how to work a camera.
- Genius-level Intellect: Peter Parker's genius intellect allowed him to build his own set of webshooters and spider tracers when he was still in high school.  Throughout his career as Spider-Man, he was able to construct a multitude of high-tech suits, starting with one he created during a school trip to Europe using Stark technology.  His current suit, the Spider Armor Mark IV is the latest version at his disposal.
- Martial Artist: After temporarily losing his spider-sense, Madame Web recommended to Peter to train under Shang-Chi.  Together they created "the Way of the Spider", a modified verson of Peter's own combat style and Shang-Chi's martial arts.  Peter also received combat training from Captain America.
- Acrobatic: To complement his superhuman agility and reflexes, Peter trained to gain mastery over acrobatics.
Equipment:
Webshooters: Over the years, Peter has redesigned and improved upon his web-shooters.  The web line's tensile strength has been estimated to be around 120 pounds per square millimetre of cross section. The 300 p.s.i. pressure in each cartridge is sufficient to force a stream of the complex web pattern an estimated 60 feet (can go significantly farther if shot in a ballistic parabolic arc).  He can shoot a single, incredibly strong line; a more complex, spreading spray; or a thick, tremendously adhesive liquid.  He can weave his webs in many different ways such as shields, parachutes, safety nets, and barriers.  He also added the following to his arsenal:
- Impact Webbing: Web pellets that upon impact (hence the name) releases tendrils that ensnare the target.
- Stingers: Metal darts with a paralytic element that is used to temporarily incapacitate foes.
- Spider-Tracer: Small electronic "Spider-Tracers" of Parker's design that allows him to track objects or individuals.  Comes with a small electronic receiver that follows the signals of these tracers, but Parker eventually modified them to emit a signal that can be followed using the spider-sense so that he would be able to sense them within a 100-yard radius.
- Stealth Suit: Originally designed by Parker to combat the Hobgoblin's sonic Screams; the suit warps light and sound around it, rendering it invisible.
- Utility Belt: A belt that contains extra web cartridges, spider-tracers, a miniature spy-camera, and a UV light for forensic analysis.
- Spider Armor MK I to IV: A series of Spider Armors developed by Peter Parker over the years, the latest being the Spider Armor MK IV.
Weaknesses: While incredibly durable, he is still susceptible to many of the same injuries that could be inflicted upon an ordinary human being.  His Spider Sense can also be tricked as it's up to him to determine the source of his Spider Sense going off. He is also weak against ethyl chloride (a pesticide).
History:
During a scientific demonstration while in high school, Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider.  At first feeling ill from the effects, upon recovery, he discovered that he had developed super powers.  His newfound powers inspired him to create his first invention: The web fluid.  He constructed his first web-shooters to complement his new super powers.  At first, he attempted to make money off of his new abilities, such as becoming a masked wrestler.  He even tried to pitch his web fluid idea to a construction company, but was turned away upon mentioning that it only lasted for a couple hours.
Peter's Uncle Ben once told him that "with great power comes great responsibility", but he didn't listen at the time.  After a wrestling match, he got stiffed on the payment, so when an armed robber stole a bunch of money from the wrestling federation, he chose not to do anything about it.  Later that day, Uncle Ben was shot and killed.  Peter tracked down the killer and upon pulling the killer's mask off, he discovered to his horror that it was the same robber he allowed to escape earlier that day.  Had he stopped the robber, perhaps his uncle would still be alive.  From that point on, Peter dedicated his life toward fighting crime and living by his uncle's words of "with great power comes great responsibility".  For the next few years, he would patrol the streets of New York City as Spider-Man.
During his high school years, he was recruited by Tony Stark and became an intern at Stark industries.  He became an honorary member of the Avengers and fought by their side many times.  Upon graduating high school, he earned a science scholarship to Empire State University.  He went on several more adventures, meeting new people and making new friends and foes alike, during his undergraduate years.  It was around this time that he met Felicia Hardy, AKA Black Cat, who would become his girlfriend a couple years later.  For a period of time, he worked as a part-time photographer for the Daily Bugle to make ends meet.  He would later be able to leave that job upon being hired by Horizon Labs.  He is currently working toward obtaining his Ph.D at Empire State University as a graduate student while also working at Horizon Labs.
Fear not true Believers, we have intrest from a Captain Marvel, Storm, Gambit and Human Torch as well. YAY Just waiting for their bios.
Gannameade
Hero Name: The Human Torch
Identity: Johnny Storm
Secret or Public Identity: Public
Origin of Powers: Altered Human
Age: 26
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Description (Appearance): Johnny stands six feet tall with a toned build that goes perfectly with his handsome face.  His chocolate skin and athletic build has truly been a summons to both heroine and celebrity alike.
Civilian Wear:  He is known to dress stylish for appearances.
Powers:
Pyrokinesis- The Human Torch possessed the mental ability to control ambient heat energy and the physical ability to transform his entire body, or portions of his body into a fiery, plasma-like state of will. The cells of a normal human body convert energy from foodstuffs into a form of energy usable by the body, adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Among other mutagenic changes, the cosmic ray bombardment triggered a specific genetic code rearrangement that caused the Human Torch's ATP production sites to generate a new form of energy containing molecule. (Reed Richards has dubbed this molecule adenine ribo-heptaphosphene, AR-HP.) This complex molecule not only provides ordinary bodily energy but contains large stores of latent chemical-bonding energies. Another favorable mutagenic change are his cells' ability to utilize this extra energy by converting it into a moderate-density, plasma-like state that is regulated by a subconscious mental field and can be modified by an act of will. When sufficient quantities of energy are consumed, the Torch unavoidably reverts to his solid state.
Plasma Form
The Human Torch possesses the physical ability to envelop his entire body or portions of his body with fiery plasma without harm to himself (plasma is a super-heated stated of matter such as exists in the atmosphere of stars). Ordinarily, when aflame, the Human Torch is enveloped by a low intensity flame of low level plasma (reddish, approximately 780 Fahrenheit), which ranges from 1 to 5 inches from his body. He can, however, generate much higher levels and flames about himself. The energy used to support his low-level plasma is small; only when the Human Torch wills his flame to a higher level does the majority of surplus energy with the AR-HP complex become involved. In its plasma state, The Torch's body is no longer solid; projectiles that are not melted pass harmlessly through his body.
Fire Manipulation
The Human Torch can generate shapes composed of fire from any point on his body. (He usually employs his hands to "sculpt" the flames, occasionally as a lasso to ensnare enemies.) He can form fire into long streams, spheres, or even more complex shapes like letters in skywriting. These flames-objects will only remain their shapes as long as he concentrates upon them. The objects will only burn about 3 minutes before expiring unless the Torch continues to infuse them with energy. The temperature of these fiery projections is generally around 2,800 F (near the melting point of iron).
Nova Flame
The Torch refers to his highest, hottest levels of plasma that he can create as his "nova flame." The exact temperatures that his "nova flame" can attain are not known. At an average rate of expenditure of energy, the Torch can stay aflame for about 16.8 hours. In his younger days, he could only maintain his flame for much briefer periods, and sometimes exhausted it while in combat. He cannot maintain his "nova flame" for as long a time as he can maintain his ordinary flame. The Torch can release all of his body's stored energy in one intense, omni-directional "nova-burst," which can reach about 1,000,000 F, and which is similar to the heat-pulse of a nuclear warhead detonation, with an area of total devastation of about 900 feet in diameter and the power of a super nova. (The Torch has claimed that he can destroy a small moon with his nova-flame.) This violent discharge uses his entire reserve of energy (except for the necessary to keep him alive) at once, entirely exhausting his flame power. He generally requires at least 12 hours to recover entirely from such a feat.
Flight
The Human Torch's plasma has a high hydrogen content, and is surrounded by an exuded cloud of mono-atmoic hydrogen atoms. The hot cloud provides sufficient positive buoyancy for him to float. With mental stimulation of his flame, he can provide enough lift to carry around 180 pounds. By forming a jet from his feet, directed behind him, he can achieve a normal flight speed of 140 miles per hour, and accelerate up to supersonic speeds capable of catching up with faster beings such as the Silver Surfer while in the Earth's orbit. He can also discharge concussive blasts of heat most notably in the case of his human candle punch.
Thermokinesis
The Human Torch has the ability to mentally control the ambient heat energy within his immediate environment, even when he himself is not aflame. He can reduce objects' temperatures (if they are in a normal range for existing on Earth's surface) to about 30 F, raise them to several hundred degrees, or extinguish open flames. His radius of influence is about 80 feet. The heat energy he takes from the environment is absorbed into his own body. If he takes in a critical amount while he is not aflame, he will become aflame. There are unknown limits to the amount of flame he can absorb into his own body harmlessly while he is himself aflame.
Immunity to Fire & Heat
The Human Torch is unaffected by heat and flames, including his own, even when part of him is aflame and the rest of him is not. His flesh cannot be scalded or burned by any heat source whose level is below that of his maximum output.  Storm's ability to ignite himself is limited by the quantity of oxygen in his environment, and his personal flame has been extinguished by sufficient quantities of water, flame retardant foam, and vacuum environments. #11
MAC
"Besides, you couldn't pay me enough to join the Avengers."
The Basics
Legal Name: America Chavez
Alias: Ms. America
Age: 22
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 155
Sexuality: Pansexual (but with a preference for the female form) | Panromantic
Power Origin: Fuertona empowered by proximity to the Demiurge in the Utopian Parallel
Physical Description
Tall, toned, and honey-hued with long dark hair and wide brown eyes, MAC is anything but shy and dresses to show off her form in whatever she just happens to find lying around. While not a fan of make-up or other girly type considerations, she does love her hair and takes good care of her curly mane though she tends to pull it away from her face when at "work". She wears no jewelry, no piercings beyond her ears but she does have two small tattoos, a star on the inside of each wrist. Born on July 4th, the young woman loves to wear red, white, and blue and one will usually find a commingling of those colors in whichever outfit she picks out.
Personality and History
Personality
America has a strong independent streak, which makes her less quick to gel into the team dynamic with others. She openly rejects leadership, preferring to do her own thing and act in her own best interest. She is also snarky and sarcastic with a no-nonsense approach to fighting crime which might not be what others require but is always what she considers the most expedient solution. She tends to do her own thing more often than not and has a hard time dealing with anyone trying to control what she does or where she goes. Approach her on a good day and you might get punched. Approach her on a bad day...and she'll take you to space and leave you there.
Biography
(copied from here:) America Chavez was raised by her mothers, Amalia and Elena Chavez, in the Utopian Parallel, a dimension outside of time and space and in the presence of the Demiurge. When America was approximately six-years-old, the Utopian Parallel was threatened by destruction. America's mothers heroically sacrificed themselves to seal the black holes pulling Utopia into the common Multiverse resulting in their particles being smeared across the Multiverse itself. Wanting to prove herself as a hero and knowing Utopia didn't require salvation, America ran away from her home and her responsibilities. She traveled across different dimensions, eventually adopted the moniker of Ms. America, and began covertly acting as a superhero.
Superpowers & Equipment
Powers:
  • Self-Propelled Flight: at super-human speeds
  • Superhuman Speed: She can run and move at phenomenal speeds.
  • Superhuman Strength: Self-Explanatory and includes a specific move called the Power Stomp which focuses her internal power into her feet and legs in order to deliver an energized shock-wave with a single step.
  • Superhuman Durability: Which includes being flame retardant, bulletproof and the ability to survive the vacuum of space
  • Star Portal Creation: America has the rare ability to smash open star-shaped portals that enable her to traverse the Multiverse, or offensively as a spatial slicer.
  • Superhuman Longevity: self explanatory
  • Hyper-Cosmic Awareness: A metaphysical insight to the goings-on of the multiverse at large.
  • Energy infusion: Individuals of the Parallel that Chavez calls home are capable of harnessing their inherent power from within, using it to vastly augment their physical fighting ability.
Equipment:
Shit, she doesn't need any equipment! She's a beast!
Skills
  • Bi-Linguil: English and Spansih
  • Hand to Hand Combatant: Specifically boxing, grappling, wrestling and Muay Thai
  • Meal Prep: Yeah, it's a skill.
Notes on Weaknesses
  • La Legion The demons that invaded America's ancestral home have the power to feed off her race's energy, which leaves her weakened and dampens her abilities.
  • No idea concerning other weaknesses.
Hero Name: Seeker
Legal Name: Raine Thornes
Origin of Powers: Eldritch Entities, Cultist Ancestry
Age: 17
Sexuality: asexual
«Description»
5`8, short white hair, frail frame, graying skin color. Never seen wearing anything without black.
«Powers»
Shadow Manipulation, Void Magic, Inter dimensional transportation, Eldritch Vessel.
«Special Skills and Other»
•Knitting/Sewing: fairly good handiwork in cloth craft.
•Close quarters combat: is adept in usage of short ranged weaponry.
•Void Sense: Can trace anyone/anything anywhere within the confines of the universe by having the eldritch deity in worship release a sonar like pulse throught the void that sends back a pulse from the target. Requires name or descriptor of object/person to track. Cannot increase range to multiverse without aid of powerful artefacts. (Utility)
•Teleportation: can traverse wide distances through inter dimensional transportation. (Mobility)
•Pocket dimension: a sub space in the void where Raine can put things in. The time inside the void is paused, there's no gravity. Food doesn't expire, inertia doesn't decrease, light can't move about or escape. (Utility)
•Sub space propeller: propels any object once held at high velocities. (Utility)
-Dabbled in illusion: can use shadow powers to disguise appearance of herself and others. (Utility)
•Oblivion Incarnate: become the physical manifestation or personification of oblivion, or Eternal Oblivion, a state of ceasing to exist, and nonexistence, a state of not existing at all. (Utility)
She becomes unable to execute any conscious actions in this form in exchange for extremely high defense and vitality. (Defensive:Once Per Day)
«Weaknesses»
•Limitations per usage of offensive abilities to two uses, three for defensive(except for Grimdark Awakening) and four for mobility and utility. The more she uses her abilities/spells she becomes weaker until she eventually faints and has to rest for around eight hours to regain her abilities. Thrice longer if her state is critical.
•Other Void Magicians can easily use her powers against her. Light magic or divine light can cut through void magic.
•Heavily reliant of her magics.
•If cannot avoid strife would prefer fast paced combat due to low endurance and stamina.
«Equipment»
•Grimmoire's Knitting Needles [EQUIPPED]
•Various sharp objects ranging from broken shards of glass, large needles, and swords.
• Ritual Materials, Improvised Explosive Devices
•A knitting kit one of her friends gave her on her 13th birthday.
«History»
Raine comes from a long line of cultists who worshipped eldritch deities in their ventures to gaining unnatural powers that allowed them to do many things in exchange for their loyal servitude to the deities that they prayed to. The cultists were known to be witches, sorcerers, and other some such magicians who were shunned by society for their beliefs. Throughout the centuries they used their powers to indulge themselves in their fantasies of riches, power, and fame and were the most hated by humans up until the mutants first appeared. Ever since then they were rarely even noticed anymore and when they were they were often hated still. Not as much as mutants were though. Raine is a deviant of the practices of eldritch worship and aims to find a way to cleanse herself of the mark of the worshippers of eldritch deities while also keeping her abilities. The beings that she is forced servitude to feed on her very life force which is shortening her already short lifespan. And she doesn't like it, not one bit. She has experience in combat due to having been raised in an environment that caters to snooty magic users and arrogant cultists who often engage with her. Either it be in arguments, rivalries of profession, or simply being a$$holish they always seemed to swarm her whether she ignored them or not. Moving to new york on her 13th birthday she was finally free from the other magic users and cultists that once caused her great agony. She met a few friends online who were similar to her in terms of abilities and uniqueness and was finally living a somewhat normal life. But then again New York always seemed to be normal up until world ending calamities, mutated super monsters or power hungry villains decide to show up and fight with the many heroes of the place. She was starting to think she'd never get to live a quiet life ever. At the very least she was able to just ignore it all with the use of her powers. Or that was what she thought before her Landlord and neighbours nextdoor finally had enough of her magic rituals and sorcery that they decided to kick her out. Where was she supposed to stay now that she'd pissed off her third apartment building?
Jean Grey is dead in this timeline and is none playable.
The founding Avengers Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye are off world on a mission.
Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are not Magnetos Kids but rather Dormante Inhumans who were experimented on by HYDRA.
SHEILD is no more and is underground after Cap discovered it was inflertrated By HYDRA.
JJ Jamerson is editor of the Daily Bugle Newspaper and Media outlets.
Eyo.
From one very crappy unsuccessful author to the wonderful VV yourself. Take as much needed time for yourself, you write this story. Also it gets us all writer's block. Well actually I have literal hundreds of stories I never properly wrote cuz I lack skills in writing PLOT but yeah writer's block is a huge assbutt. Stay safe and stay about as healthy as most of us are nowadays. Which is to say that I kinda suck at reassurances or talking to peepos in general but I wanna support ya!
