Hey, sorry for my lack of response. Life got busy and I finally was able to sit down, think, and realize that it's extremely easy for me to get caught in a quagmire making an original character for the Fate series. Would there be any opposition to my playing Emiya Shirou?

evangel

Gotcha, I'll try to get the profile up as soon as possible. Would it be possible to get a Discord invite?

Marie Reynolds

Hey Bad Sister have you gotten a chance to look over my servant?

Alistair Leonhart

Alright, let's jump on the Berserker spot now that it opened~ (Assassin would be free then)

Appearance: Asterios towers over most Heroic Spirits, being just under three meters tall. While not a complete hybrid between a man and a bull in appearance, he possesses animalistic traits, such as horns, a mane of wild, white hair, and inhuman eyes. Asterios is seen wearing iron armor, much like a corset, over his bulky and scarred body, iron rings around his arms, a red piece of cloth from his waist to his feet, split into two sections. Around each ankle is an iron ring with an attached chain, linking heavy, metal orbs which Asterios appears to have no problem wearing. In each hand, he holds an axe with an incredibly long pole.

In his first Ascension, he wears an iron mask resembling a bull's head, reflecting his nature as the Minotaur, and carries axes with straight edges in each hand. In his second Ascension, the iron mask is removed, revealing his black and red eyes, and the axes he wields are replaced by a pair with rounder edges, named Labrys. In his third Ascension, Asterios' mane grows even longer and wilder, and his horns turn red and grow thicker.

Name: Asterios (Lightning), Minotaur (The Bull of Minos)

Master: Undecided

Personality: Asterios' life was marked by isolation, lacking contact with any person but the seven children who year after year were 'sacrificed' to him. Despite the range of wisdom offered by the Holy Grail's summons, he suffers from moderate speech impediments and has difficulties expressing himself properly. A life of obeying the imprisonment mandated by his father turned him subservient and eager to obey orders from Masters, not to mention him being loyal by nature. A life of longing for freedom, for the opportunity to lay in the grass and be bathed by the sun, kept his human heart pure in spite of his scarred god-monster body. As a Servant, he seems perpetually dopey and happy, as no bad day in the surface compares to his ancient prison.

History: Minos had exchanged promises with the Sea God Poseidon to sacrifice a bull presented from him, but in a certain year, though he has the valuable Divine Bull for instance that should have been originally sacrificed, he sacrificed a different bull instead. Poseidon, who had his promise trampled underneath Minos' foot, cursed Pasiphaë, the wife of the king, by inducing her in that she will bear sexual desires towards bulls. And like that, so was born Asterios, his name meaning "one who rules the stars", but because he possesses the body of a man and the head of an ox, he was given the name "Minotauros", which means the Bull of King Minos. Greatly perplexed on how to deal with him after the scandal, Minos ordered the famous artisan Daedalus to build "a maze that one cannot get out from" - in other words, the Labyrinth.

It became custom to offer seven boys and girls each as a sacrifice to Asterios because of the king's command. Understandably, it is not good to permit the offering of the people of his own country, so King Minos demanded from the state that he invaded, Athens, to offer sacrifices as compensation. Unknown to anyone but the Minotaur himself, he had never laid a finger on any of them, sharing his food with them every day as he raised, trained and enjoyed his time with their sole company, in exchange learning their fragmented child-language and of the world outside the only place he had ever known. He dreamt of flowers, the sun, birds and grown people, of falling in love and of happy families, and despaired against his prison.

The 20th time he had received "sacrifices", they arrived escorted by the hero Theseus, who appeared hellbent in his pursuit of a child-eating monster. When he found not a bloody-mawed beast, but a small army of well-fed young adults and teenagers facing him down to let his "father" alone, he wept during the many days their battle lasted. One by one, his children fell and his rage amplified, not understanding why he had to be imprisoned and killed solely for his bestial appearance. In the end, he fell too, victim to grievous injuries not without their retribution on their maker. Theseus showed genuine remorse, but as he explained, he had already taken on a quest from King Minos to murder him, and to return empty-handed would have him had his head cut. Asterios found it within himself to forgive him, dying a peaceful death as the many teens murdered were attributed to the rampages of a monster, and Theseus would move on to be remembered as a great hero.

Class: Berserker

Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Height: 298 cm (300 cm in Ascension 3)

Weight: 150 kg

Armament: Labrys of the Abyss

Likes: Playing with children and people he likes, seeing or learning new things, human contact/skinship, feeling liked or loved, being called Asterios or Lightning, protecting his Master and loved ones, overall little things that make the memories of imprisonment and solitude go away, and let him feel like a hero instead of a monster.

Dislikes: Being treated as a monster or as something inhuman, isolation, imprisonment, harm coming to his loved ones, witnessing children in peril, being called Minotaur or Bull of Minos, overall things that remind him of the darkness and make him feel monstrous.

Sexual Information:
Sexuality: Heterosexual
On's: Intimacy, worship, size difference, awe, impregnation, "soft"/loving femdom, excessive cum and kinks related to it, sex marathons, "subtle" exhibitionism (looks normal or just a bit skimpy to others but could very easily cause wardrobe malfunctions, etc), public sex, dubcon (ONLY if they actually wanted it but could never admit it or similar cases, no "never liked it but dick game so good she got into it mid-rape" stuff), (stuff to be added later on)
Off's: The usual blood/toilet stuff, NTR/cheating, bondage, most bdsm in general, feet, noncon, humiliation, (to be added later)

Wish: A world where all children are loved and raised properly, and hardly any harm comes to pass to them.

Stats
Strength: A++
Endurance: A++
Agility: C
Mana: D
Luck: E
Noble Phantasm: A

Class abilities:

Mad Enhancement (B): Class Skill that characterizes a Berserker, raising basic parameters and strengthens one's physical abilities in exchange of hindering mental capacities and/or in exchange for their sense of reason. In some cases, it also affects and/or seals away some techniques, Personal Skills and Noble Phantasms. In the case of Asterios, it raises all his Parameters, but robs him of most sense of reason.

Skills:

Monstrous Strength (A): Grants him physical aptitude far beyond the limits of the human form.

Natural Monster (A++): Asterios was born as a monster, not a fully human being. His Strength and Endurance go past the limits of human bodies.

Labrys of the Abyss (C): Two gigantic polearms carrying the essence of the Labyrinth in them, and his skill at using them effectively.

Noble Phantasms

Name: Chaos Labyrinthos
Quote: "Here I go! Get lost... Wander... and die!"
Rank: EX
Type: Labyrinth
Range: 0
Maximum target: 14 people
Description: A thaumaturgy almost worthy of being called a Reality Marble, this Noble Phantasm manifests the memories of the Maze of Daedalus within Asterios and entraps his opponents inside those memories. Given it is a construct born of hopeless imprisonment, finding an exit is all but impossible, and this Phantasm will not disappear until either Asterios or all his affected opponents have been defeated. An opponent who witnesses this Phantasm and survives will find each repeated exposure to it easier to navigate, as the memories change little every time it happens.

I'd be willing to Master with you. It's a bit obvious to have the two magicians together, but I've been told being a bit obvious isn't a bad thing

Emiya Shirou KIND OF DONE PENDING REVIEW

Appearance:In the events of Fifth Holy Grail War, Shirou is a teenager with auburn hair and golden-brown coloured eyes. He is often seen wearing his casual clothing, consisting of a blue and white long sleeve baseball jersey T-shirt and blue slim straight jeans. During school, he wears his Homurahara Academy uniform but underneath his jacket uniform, he wears the same long sleeve baseball jersey T-shirt.

Name: Emiya Shirou
Servant: Asterios
Alignment: Good Neutral
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 5'4
Hair color: Auburn
Eye color: Golden-brown
Likes: Cleaning, cooking, housework, respecting women.
Dislikes: People dying when they are killed, umekobucha.

Magic: Projection, Tracing, and Reinforcement.
Quality & Quantity: Somewhat acceptable. Due to Shirou's lack of inherited magic circuits, he has a difficult time practicing the unusual magecraft of projection even with rigorous training. In this timeline, Shirou received much more formal instruction from Kiritsugu but is still severely lacking as a magus. Because Avalon was left inside of his body for a certain amount of years, he possesses a natural affinity for swords.

Abilities:
Avalon- Worth noting that Shirou does not actually possess Avalon in his body any longer.
Kanshou & Bakuya- Two swords that Shirou can materialize out of thin air. Even though he has intensively trained, the amount of time that the swords could spend in the material world is limited and the manifestation consumes a lot of energy.

History: The red-haired boy is one of the many injured from the catastrophic end of the Fourth Holy Grail War. The flash of destruction and pandemonium was followed by a hellscape of the burning and dying, with their pleas and screams forever seared into Shirou's thoughts. The seven year old waited for death while marinating in the physical and mental torment but instead was met with a completely different fate. He never forgot his rescuer's face, tears streaking down his haggard cheeks in sheer joy that the child was still alive. His name was Kiritsugu Emiya, and he was the man responsible for setting Fuyuki ablaze.

This is something Shirou wouldn't discover for a long, long time. He was far too busy being adopted by Kiritsugu, discovering that he is a magus, discovering that Kiritsugu is incredibly awful at household chores, and discovering that Kiritsugu disapproved of leveraging teaching his tradecraft with household chores. Yet ultimately, the now elder Emiya relented and began half-heartedly instructing the younger. The child soon regained his cheery, positive disposition as he was able to spend most of his time learning at school, learning how to cook and clean at home, and how to be a magus like his (new) old man. The recklessly full schedule did an excellent job of keeping Shirou busy. It also provided a bonus effect of immediately improving the menu of the Emiya household and masking his overwhelming survivor's guilt.

---

On a particularly chilly autumn Sunday morning, the ten year old Emiya Shirou had his eyes glued to the television set. The program playing was of a masked hero, a standard ally of justice who righted wrongs by the power of friendship and (mostly) his kicks. Kiritsugu never saw much of a need to restrain Shirou's television consumption as this was the only thing that he knew of that the boy did for fun, which consisted of thirty minutes of toy advertisements and righteousness once a week. Well, there was that one time Shirou went missing for an entire afternoon and the only answer was that he was trying to jump a pole. Besides, Kiritsugu had his own fun watching how Shirou reacted with every twist and turn of the plot. On this Sunday however, Kiritsugu had a cough. It wasn't loud, but the sight of blood on his palm was concerning. And by the time he thought of concealing it from Shirou, the boy had already met his eye with an expression of fear and horror.

Kiritsugu was dying. The tormented Shirou had nothing but questions. As his young mind struggled to comprehend concepts and facts such as to why the grail's mud had affected Kiritsugu three years ago while Shirou was left alive or even the reason for the entire wave of destruction, the elder Emiya patiently answered his inquiries and many more. But the one singular response that shook Shirou to the core came from this query.

"Can it happen again?"

"Yes."

He wanted dearly, viciously, desperately to say no. In fact, Kiritsugu himself had taken steps after the fact to ensure that a Fifth War would never occur, but his network of connections spoke that despite his efforts, various parties are moving in a way that seemed to suggest he had failed.

That was how Kiritsugu found himself more than ever before, a reluctant accessory to Emiya Shirou's training as another magus. There were times he cursed himself quietly for the supposed hindsight of removing Avalon from Shirou's healed body. The risk of an unwanted third party going after his kid for the artifact seemed so small now compared to the looming danger Shirou was about to dive into. Face-first, even. The moment he declared that he would personally stop the Fifth Holy Grail War was complete and authoritative. The best that Kiritsugu could do was stow the mysterious item delivered a day ago, and impart as much of his knowledge as he could before his body gave up. In an all too short two years, Kiritsugu found himself at the precipice of life. It was a lovely, sweet-smelling evening spent alone with Shirou in front of his garden. His sight is mostly gone from the curse, but the moonlight saw it fit to still grace his undeserved vision.

It was then that Kiritsugu unveiled to Shirou that his childhood dream was to be a hero of justice. The ideal who stood up for the weak and the meek. Someone who could always save everyone. In the twilight of the short age of thirty four, it was left unfulfilled as one of his many regrets. It was all so silly and childish, looking back at it. Kiritsugu had always known how far he had fallen from the Kiritsugu who wanted unconditional salvation for everyone, and yet at the edge of death he couldn't make peace with it until another child shouted out.

"I'll never forget how you felt, jii-san! I'll be a hero of justice!"

It was almost imperceptible, but Kiritsugu felt bit by bit his anxiety leaving him. As if shedding them away with tears, Kiritsugu became vaguely aware of the relief he felt with the twelve year old Shirou's dedication. It was just a child picking up another child's dream, but a burden of crushing weight had evaporated from Kiritsugu's shoulders. All that was left was how beautiful the moon was.

---

Well, he did it. Emiya finally felt that he could breathe after what felt like an eternity where he submitted his resignation from the Archery Club. The lone student in a brown uniform walking down a road lit by the afternoon red glow masked the ridiculous farce that had occured moments earlier. The utterly disrespectful and not at all kawaii kouhai known as Emiya Shirou had lasted but a short few months in the Archery Club, during which he never missed a target but one. Rudely dashing the hopes of members who finally felt like this year they would go beyond being last place and disappointing Fuji-nee, on top! Truthfully, it was perfect. The training incident that somehow left a burn mark and a fractured shoulder all in one go was the excellent excuse for Matou Shinji to declare that the scar would make it too unsightly for the auburn-haired boy to do formal competition, which became an excellent excuse for said auburn-haired boy to bail. Joining a club, demolishing almost everyone else in it, and leaving at the drop of a hat after not even half a year. It was a heck of a way to start out his first year of high school. But above all else, Shirou felt a relief for catering to his anxiousness at the fact that Archery Club was too fun, and taking up a lot of time. Time he could be spending helping other people. The only thing was that while Shirou was healing, cooking and cleaning would be a bit of a pain.

It would be a bit of time before Shirou found himself in front of the familiar gates of his home, the boy having embarrassingly walked off path multiple times daydreaming about his newfound free time and how to get around his injury without completely destroying the free time he had struggled for. However, the moment that Shirou had placed one foot into a territory that should be familiar and safe, his hair immediately stood on end. There was something wrong. He couldn't quite place his tongue on it, but someone or something had violated the enclosed area. Cautiously and nervously, Shirou unlocked the front door and swallowed before slowly sliding the door open. He was prepared for this, but he wasn't prepared to BE prepared with only one arm available. On a cursory glance, nothing had seemed amiss. Fuji-nee's shoes were there, with another pair of dainty--what.

"Oh, Shirou! Welcome home! Come meet your new caretaker!"

Oh heck no. No no no no no.

The boy immediately poked his head into his sacred living room where Taiga's voice originated from, ready with a thousand protests and sanctions against the brazen, lazy, good for nothing sad excuse for a teacher and found them all destroyed by the sight of another cook in his kitchen. Matou Sakata. Sakana. Sakuga. Sa--Uh, Shinji's sister. An elegant student with the grace befitting a flower, she effortlessly presented all of her actions with dignity. Like chopping an onion. With dignity and grace and elegance as a former fellow archery club member, and girl. Who stared at the head of the boy peeking in while on all fours.

Shirou slammed the door shut audibly before sinking down to the slightly dusty floor, his mind entirely spinning at a million meters per moment. Why did Fuji-nee invite her in? Girl. Caretaker? Girl. What the heck does that mean? Girl. Is she supposed to feed us? Girl. No, no, this is unnecessary Fuji-nee can't cook but GIRL she can just survive off instant ramen for a month GIRL no I wouldn't consign anyone to that fate that's too cruel GIRL fuji-nee's nutritional intake consists of literal garbage already GIRL oh no oh no oh no what if she handles my laundry GIRL FUJI-NEE WHY

Shirou opened the door again (still on all fours), as swiftly as it had closed earlier, only to find himself meeting eyes with the elegant girl who even gave the act of being surprised and slightly embarrassed a modicum of dignity. Darn it, even her rosy cheeks were enough to make his heart skip a beat, at which Hero of Justice Shirou immediately closed the door again for a swift retreat. Sighing, Shirou took the largest breath in his life and declared privately that he would not run from this situation. The childish way he's acting may be stressing this girl out, who may not even want to be here and may have been completely forced against her will by the evil Tiger of Fuyuki. if so, it was up to Shirou to correct what was wrong.

"Fuji-nee!"

Shirou opened the sliding door for the third time, this time without crawling at the ground AND fully prepared with confidence that he would graciously send this girl home on her way and give a lecture to Fuji-nee about the evils of forcing ladies to do things they do not want to do. The sight of his teacher/mentor/guardian grinning devilishly, beer can in hand, sensing his utter vulnerability isn't even enough to faze the courageous teenager. "How could you do this to Sakuta-san? Conscripting a girl just because I'm not capable of using two hands is too cruel!" Actually, at this point, Taiga Fujimura had erupted into a full blown cackling, completely drowning out Shirou's righteous spiel. Shirou waited a full forty seconds, instantly silenced by the spectacle of Taiga rolling on the floor and most likely about to prove that it's possible for someone in real life to die from too much laughter. Wheezing and coughing, Fujimura finally explained to Shirou that the Matou girl had been present out of her own volition. There were no wrangling, blackmailing or threats involved.

Oh, and her name wasn't Matou Sakuta.

Shirou took an aghast step back, his face burning redder than the afternoon sun outside. After recollecting himself and gathering the courage to accept his own mistake, Shirou marched awkwardly towards the kitchen where Sakura was still cooking, and stammered. "I-I'm so sorry for my rudeness! T-thank you so much for helping us out and feeding us both!"

He then took a swift, deep bow. Taiga could tell that Shirou's attention was everywhere except where he was looking, because the boy immediately punctuated his apology by swinging his head right to the edge of the kitchen counter. It was nice seeing Shirou so animated and flustered (and bleeding) again, years after Kiritsugu's passing. The Matou girl got flustered and embarrassed herself scrambling for the first aid kit, but it didn't escape Taiga's watchful eye that she clearly was having far more fun than her previous, morose days. Bringing her here was the right call after all.

And the year passes by more quickly than anticipated . . .

Personality: Persistent to a fault. Shirou is never truly able to shake off his trauma from the massive fire that ravaged Fuyuki, and possesses a severe survivor's guilt. The condition was exacerbated by Kiritsugu's illness and death, resulting in a hunger-like, pathological void crying out for Shirou to put others' needs before his own. The symbiosis of this trauma with Shirou's fascination of heroes of justice meant that Shirou had a distorted idea of who a hero of justice is, as someone who sacrifices themselves completely to protect others.

Shirou's near obsession with training and helping the less fortunate intensified with Kiritsugu's death. Although that meant that he was somewhat prepared for the upcoming events, it also interfered with the growth of his social skills. The awkward Emiya is entertaining to watch for Taiga, who at the very least was confident that Kiritsugu had raised him well enough that he wouldn't mistreat girls or bully the weak.

Wish: None. Emiya intends to participate in the Fifth Holy Grail War by stopping civilian casualties and forcing the other masters to stop fighting.

Sexual Information:
On's: Being a himbo.
Off's: Being mean to girls.

Hello, hello, hola...

Currently my character is the only master without a servant, and you know, there can't be a servant whitout a master.

So I'm reposting to see if someone is willing to put a character to roleplay as my servant in the Holy Grail War RP.

I'm not picky about a servant, but you should consider this about my character as a master:

  • There will be non-con (not neccessarily between master and servant, but certainly between the master and a couple of his enemies).

  • The master has a true neutral personality escalating to an almost villainous personality, so a servant who is a true villain or a hero of justice would create an interesting dynamic (just a preference).

  • I'd prefer a female servant for my master (again just preferences).

Chakra control

What is chakra? Chakra is the basic energy which resides in everything and everybody, in simple terms is the soul or vital energy, and it  can be used in different ways:

Dragon breath: by accelerating the chakra flow from his body against the chakra of the environment he creates a static electrical discharge, that can be thrown through conductive materials or  through the air (which depletes his energy faster).

Dragon scales: by keeping a constant flow being expelled out of his body he gains enhanced physical resistance by a limited time and a limited invulnerability for a shorter time.

Dragon teeth: by focusing a faster flow of chakra on a surface, like his hands, feet or a purified steel, he reinforces the invulnerability on them, capable to smash (punches or kicks) or cut through steel (karate chops or slashing with blades) or similar.

Dragon eye: by increasing the flow of chakra in his eyes he gains an enhanced vision sense (allows him to see magics, for instance).

Abilities: magics knowledge, footwork and body patterns reading, swordfighting, quick reflexes, advanced martial arts, fireguns training, speaks English, Chinesse and Russian, contacts in the underworld.

History:

Daisuke is a member of the main branch of the Minamoto clan and a skilled warrior nicknamed ‘Shadow of the dragon’. The Minamoto is a clan which has strong ties in the politics, business and underworld of Japan, and also a long  tradition in the occult world fighting the dark forces that menace Japan through the powers that were given to them by a curse that passes from generation to generation.

Although he was the only male of the main family branch he always was overshadowed by the talents and fighting skills of his older sister, Sakura, and his older cousin, Yurika. He envied his sister.

Although he was the only male of the main family family branch his skills were very poor and Sakura was chosen as the heir of the clan -since their parents had died when they were younger-, to succeed their grandfather as the head of the family. He envied his sister even more.

However, she abandoned the Minamoto to participate in the previous Holy Grail War, disobeying their grandfather’s will they say, but she was brutally murdered. After Sakura’s death Daisuke was put aside again when Yurika was chosen as the new heir.

When he entered into adolescence and his powers fully awakened and his fighting skills improved due to training, although he was a remarkable warrior, he was still inferior to Yurika and the top fighters of the clan.

Although a strong warrior, praised by his intelligence and determination, he was often criticized by his superiors because of his recklessness in combat, his constant use of physical and verbal violence, and his reluctance to follow Yurika’s authority in battle,

When the current Holy Grail War, the clan -which didn’t want to lose a second heir- send him to participate but under a false identity, and without any support of the clan, if he wins the clan would indicate him what wish he’d have to ask, and if he failed, he would fail alone.

Long (long) lore

Much before the written history, the first Minamoto was a young man dominated by his passions and obsessed with power, who rose against the the gods, unleashing dark magics against mankind.

After his defeat, he was punished, using the blood of one of the dragons killed by his magics, a curse was set on him which gave him powers to fight with the evil forces he had unleashed and, at the same time, to ensure he wouldn’t be a victim of his passions again, his ability to experience emotions was hampered.

The curse had been passed from generation to generation while the Minamoto clan had fought witches, wizards, demons, monsters and anyone who threatened the land now known as Japan. They don’t have any choice but keep fighting and dying, in a battle that seems endless.

The members of this family, particularly those of the main family branch, are expected to train their bodies and minds to be able to fight dark forces in the future, as their ancestors did during centuries before.

The youngest generation of the Minamoto main branch -Daisuke, his elder sister, Sakura; and his elder cousin Yurika- learned hand to hand combat, swordfighting, and secret lethal techniques that were not allowed or even forbidden by mainstream martial arts schools.

However, while his sister Sakura was considered the genius of the family and his cousin Yurika one of the strongest of her generation, Daisuke was more or less just above the average. It wasn’t only because he was younger, but because he was evidently weaker than expected of someone of the main family branch.

By the very same reason, although Daisuke was the only male of the main branch, for everyone, including Daisuke, it was clear that Sakura -his sister- would succeed their grandfather to become the leader of the family, he envied and admired her at the same time and both maintained a good relation.

The Minamoto clan has a strained relation with the Church and the Magus Association, and has  known about the Holy Grail Wars, but they had refused to participate, since their curse obliged to destroy only dark forces, they consider the Holy Grail War is not of their concern.

However, some years before Sakura disobeyed his grandfather and cut her bonds with the clan to participate in the previous Holy Grail War, allegedly for her personal interest, just for her corpse to be found sometime later brutally murdered.

With the depart and later death of Sakura the clan needed a new heir, Daisuke was ineligible due to his age and apparent incompetence, and therefore he was put aside to choose Yurika as the new heir.

Daisuke disagreed with the choice, though he is not sure if it is because Yurika is unworthy of taking Sakura’s place, or if seeing Yurika as the new heir reminds him that Sakura is dead, or simply by his own envy, ambition and resentment after being discarded twice from the succession line. He challenged Yurika, only to be humiliatingly beaten by her.

Those times were difficult for Daisuke, he was mocked and despised by his incompetence that caused of his entire lineage being put aside, and he was betrothed with a girl of another traditional and powerful family who didn’t care hiding her indifference for him.

But during those times Daisuke dedicated to a rigorous training and when his powers fully awakened during his adolescence, he had greatly improved his fighting skills. Not long after, he started to took combat missions for the clan and revealed to be a remarkable warrior.

He was still weaker than Yurika and the top fighters of the clan, but he was able to take down opponents who were much stronger than him through intelligence, tactics and skills, and gaining the nickname of the ‘shadow of the dragon’.

Although the results were not in question, Daisuke was still criticized by his recklessness in battle, excess of brutality in combat and his ocassional reluctance to follow orders of his superiors, and his quarreling with Yurika (he doesn't confront her straightforward since he knows she is stronger than him). He is considered ambitious and resented, and a threat to the clan unity.

Some months ago, the Minamotos found information about the beginning of the Holy Grail War, they decided to send one of the clan members to participate, as they were not in the mood to lose a heir by second time, Daisuke was chosen, and as the clan preferred not to be related to the War, he was sent under an alias and wouldn’t count with the magical artifacts or the intelligence network or any other kind of clan support, if he failed (as many expected), he will fail alone.

Personality:

His personality has 3 definitive characteristics:

Determined: "Make your Combat Stance Your Everyday Stance": determination is an important characteristic for a Miyamoto, after all, a family that is dedicated to fight shadows needs it in order to continue with this mission and enforce it on others. For him, determination is not about to set rules for a goal, but to set rules for your life, in that way you will achieve your goals naturally.

Intelligent: Although Daisuke had never been precisely a genius and he realised that determination doesn't help much if it's not properly focused, that's why he appreciates the intelligence. Only through intelligence it is possible to focus the warrior's strengths (like determination or bravery), the conditions of the fight (ground, moment) and even the weakness of the enemy.
Then he works hard to evolve from the mere warrior who might win fights to become the strategist who shall won the war.

Distant: as a child raised in a  powerful family with an aristocratic past, for many people he is gentle but distant, the kind of guy who never used slang, and the straight A student type. But besides, the same curse that gives the Minamoto their powers, also had a secondary effect by slowly eliminating their emotions. Therefore, during his early adolescence when his power started to manifest he also became more and more indifferent and distant to others.

Wish: Release his clan from the curse, bringing her sister back to life, or living a normal life in a normal family? (he has not been informed what is the wish the clan will ask if he wins, nor he has decided what his own wish could be)

Character development ideas:

Learning to trust someone else.
Accepting his sister’s death and moving on.
Realising he is using his sister’s death as a excuse for his own ambition.
Accepting his limits as a warrior.
Building a significant relation with someone else.
The discovery of the pleasures of a life out of the clan.

I've tried, gives me the "you share no servers with them or they blocked you" message. Anyone?
