Looking for characters for a fantasy RP with a bit of a difference.

Hi all...

First time trying to run an RP on here, (though I have done it before over the table top and online)

What I'm looking for to start with is one or two player characters to help me develop the world I'm wanting to introduce.
It will involve fantasy races and such, but to start of I'd like player characters who come from the 'real' world and are therefore human.
For the introduction I want to do they should be:-

In the police force or something similar
Have no strong family/relationship ties to hold them back.
Be moderately realistic.

Please let me know if you're interested and I'll send out the format I'd like characters in. (I'd like to explain it to someone one to one so they can point out all the flaws in the system I'm working with.)

You say "moderately" realistic, like what do you mean by that per se?

The kind of character you'd find in a standard cop show or similar.

I don't mind if they're a bit over the top, (like the 'hard drinking cop on the edge' stereotype), but nothing totally out there.

As a character I'm going to assume they're a 'normal' human, with a selection of things they're better than average at, and a few things that they're worse at. Hopefully a simple way to describe a playable character.

 I'm not that fussed about posting rate.

I could cope with anything from once a day to once a week

I've been wanting to do something similar where a group of people from the modern day world "travels/is sucked into" a fantasy world! I'd love to be part of it.

Could you PM with a me a description of the character you'd like to play? Their appearance, behaviour etc.

Also 5 character strengths? (physical/mental talents, skills etc.), and two weaknesses?

From that and maybe a little discussion we'll be able to start something?
