Muse

Shandrilaine Diamonddew
Chaotic Good High Female High Elf Wizard (Bladesinger)
Height: 5'11"  |  Weight: 125lbs  |  Age: 115
Background:    My name is Shandrilaine.  It means Nightrazor.

I laid claim to my adult name at the tender age of fifty five, when most daughters of my people would enjoy the carefree pleasures of maidenhood well through their first century.  This is why I did it.

Though the primordial dragon Gaularuthor destroyed the full glory of the elven nations, in the forest nation of Aelvenhiem, our strength and beauty still shines.  At the heart of the Moonwalde is the crystal city of Moonblossoms.  The Thirty-Seven great families of Moonblossoms can all trace their lineage back to the avanastran, the heroes of the Dawning Times, from who's number the first kings came.

Riardron was a scion of house Holimion—Diamonddew in the Common tongue of Man.  Though far down the line of succession, Riardron's was blessed with a vast gift for the intricacies of music.  By his 137th year, he was honored with the position of organist and choirmaster at the High Cathedral of Love and Beauty—the oldest of the great cathedrals dedicated to Hanali Celanil that was not sunk into the sea by Gaularthor's counterstrike.

So touched were the clergy and faithful by his art and wisdom, that seven maidens all vied for Riardrdon's hand.  Three of them--the twins Caelynn and Keyleth, and their tender friend Jelenneth--swore the oath of the Triune Goddess Angharad, that they would be wives to one another, and pursue his heart as one being.  They would win  him together or not at all.

   Truly, what man could resist?

The four were wed in Riardron's 155th years.  Together they had four sons and two daughters.  The first was named Neese as a child, and took the name Arimantha in her hundred and first year.

The second daughter was named Bryn, and she speaks to you now.

Some say my gift for music might one day match my father's.  Most of them are fishing for a kiss.  Song, dance, and keyboard instruments were my greatest loves as a maiden.  My passion for them and my understanding that I had so long to choose stopped me from ever settling among my suitors, stopped me from ever pursuing pleasures beyond kisses and cuddles.  I knew one day I would understand which man best touched my heart.

I was also fascinated with magic, but knowing that to pursue it could could warp my children into drow ever stayed my hand.

Amarantha was not so shy.  Perhaps even more beautiful than I, she yielded to the suite of Lord Perren Moonflower.  Preparations were being made for their wedding when Amarnatha was stolen away in the night.

It took us the better part of a moon to find where she'd been taken.  A great host of those who loved her took up arms and descended upon the cult that had ravished her again and again, filling her womb with profane seed and dark magic.  Though we saved her, she gave birth to twins twisted and powerful, drow tainted further with draconic features, terrible strength, and inhuman magic.  Allready traumatized by her violation, and traumatized again by Lord Moonflower casting her aside, my eldest brother took the children into his household and gave them to his most trusted servant to raise as her own.

Those immediately responsible were slain, but I could not forget, and I could not forgive.  The cult of Gaularuthor can be found in every corner of what remains of this world.  I could not let them continue to perform such atrocities in the name of returning an anchient evil from the world beyond the grave.  I was butt a dancer, though, fit but not strong, with only the most rudimentary skill with sword and bow.  What could I do?

The answer came from a love I'd always denied—and a love that, in embracing, I drove away every other suitor.

I took up the study of magic.  I turned both to the academies of the arcane arts and to the Bladesingers of the  Red Tiger school.  Today I am a maiden warrior whom no man will wed or bed, but I have no regrets.  The magic that has made me an unsuitable mother has given me the power to protect my people and the goodly folk of the world.  One day, by sword and spell, I will destroy this cult.

One day, I will be known as the tiger who slew dragons.

   That will be enough.

Description: See Image.

This blond beauty has an intricate tatoo of a red tiger rampant on her back, rear paws ballanced on her thigh, front paws raking at her shoulder.

Personality: Despite her stoic acceptance of the fact that she is not suited for love, Shandrilaine has never rejected Hanali Celanil and stil wears the goddess's medalion around her neck, resting in her bountiful cleavage, just above her heart.  She still sings and dances, still plays the hurdy gurdy and the organ, still presents herself as beautifully as possible.

Though given to bouts of melencholy, Shandrilaine accepts the sacrifice she has made.  She refuses to brood--when she can help it--and finds much happiness and enjoyment in life.  She delights in magic as she does in art and beauty.  She takes pride in her power, and cheerfully takes up the mantle of the charitable hero.

Just as a note, though not publicly, I'd players to think a little bit about the story of how they came into possession of their item.

Ok, I will try think story for my +1 custom rapier :).

Calison

A little late, but here is my submission for consideration.

Kasala Lufaren
Alignment LN Gender Female Race High Elf Class Wizard
Height: 5'8'' |  Weight: 126 |  Age: 120

Description: Traditionally, Lufaren mages tended to marry those of non-magical talent to lessen the chance of birth abnormalities. Kasala's father chose to be non-traditional, choosing to marry a sorcoress he had formed a centuries-long bond with. Kasala was largely spared the fate of tieflings, but her hair and eyes betray her talent readily. Unlike her autumn-haired parents, Kasala's locks are distinctly violet, her eyes a pale lilac. She stands at a middling height for women in her family, but she stands out from her cousins at court for not just her hair, but for her figure as well. Kasala favors dresses and robes with slink to them, all the better for accenting her curves and the swell of her bosom. While she might not have the most forceful of presences, she knew how to catch eyes and lure attention to her--often to the jealousy of her cousins and other women at court. Her style is of a subtle grace, favoring single, solid color attire that let her body speak for itself. Kasala allows herself a few fine adornments, namely a fine golden hair clasp and earrings. While traveling she favors a violet cloak she can easily wrap around herself.

Personality: One of the nicer adjectives Kasala's cousins would use to describe her would be 'impish'. While a capable flirt, Kasala only teases people she knows and knows well. At court she carried with her an image of a dark seductress, but she only played with this to annoy her extended family and to strictly have fun. While she wouldn't have the word to name it herself, Kasala is a demisexual, finding only sexual interest in others only when she has built a substantial bond with them first. Her mission at thwarting cultists is her current love and like anything else she has turned focus to in her life, Kasala pursues it relentlessly. A self-described pragmatist, Kasala hardly has time for the impractical or the convoluted, choosing instead solutions to problems that require either the least effort, least moving parts, or both.

Background: The Lufarens are an old high elven family that claims a lineage stretching as far back as the forgotten age. They proudly assert to be direct descendants to one of the original warders that sealed away Gaularuthor of the End. As such, Kasala was born into the profession of wardstone guardian. Kasala was raised in The Court City, where the Lufarens keep a ornate, though ultimately showy estate. While recent generations of the family had leaned heavily into its noble ranking and indulged in opulence, Kasala's father set a course correction for the family that is still resented by the lesser branches. With the steady rise of the Cult of the Dragon, Kyrtaar Lufaren leaned into sacred duty and shepherded his daughter into the same.

Kasala had no want for mentors or instructors as her magical talent blossomed in her late 60s. She spent the next half of her lived life refining her spellwork under the guide of her father and mother and several of their most loyal retainers. Her schooling had instilled in her that magic was meant to be graceful, not just in its weaving, but in its use. Evocations were taught to her as necessary vulgarities, but Kasala's heart always swelled when she sent dueling opponents flying with a well timed wave of thunder. Her tutors would guide her toward abjuration as her chief school of study--all Lufaren wardstone guardians focused intently on protection magics and Kasala's study was no different, but she readily sought the theories and practical applications of other schools of magic in her free time.

The Lufarens are part of a larger society of high elven mages who have tasked themselves with the protection of one of the wardstones know as the Society of the Barrier. Until recently, Kasala was content that the measures her order had in place to safeguard the stone was sufficent. The location of the stone was a tightly kept secret and its magical and physical fortifications know only to the highest ranking members of the order. And then news came to The Court City that what had been twelve wardstones had been reduced to eleven.

Kasala had been one of the first of several in the society to argue that sitting pretty and passively observing the cult's movement was no longer enough. The oldguard of the order was ever mindful of the pervasive presence of the cult and like many other rulers and organizations did not want to draw their ire too openly. Kasala called the leaders of her order cravens, her own father included. An active defense was required; they had to meet the cult in the field and deny them whatever advantages or resources they sought. Kasala and others sharing a like mind were branded as reckless and bloodthirsty, but she stuck to her notion of sitting idle and waiting for trouble to knock on their doorstep was hardly a solution at all anymore.

And so the so called 'Destructionists' faction of the Society of the Barrier informally drafted their charter of protecting not just the wardstone under the Society's protection, but all wardstones from the grasp of the cult. Kasala laments the name that has become the banner of the splinter faction, as it was cumbersome and ultimately misleading. Nonetheless, she has devoted her heart and mind toward rooting out the Cult's intentions in whatever region she finds herself in.

The story will likely start with her following a lead to Dagheim, where she hears a Cult cell is after not something, but someone.

Kathyan

Evayla Thunderstorm
CN Female Dragonborn Cleric(Tempest)
Height: 6'4"  |  Weight: 165  |  Age: 16
Background:Pirate

Description: With a menacing look and a fearful reputation even for a dragonborn Evayla still has a figure that allows her to get away with whatever she wants without having to resort to violence and she perfectly knows how to use this to her advantage, heavy and firm plump breasts, long shapely legs ending in a exquisitely toned bubbly butt and a lovely face that can became quite charming when she sets on that though she still loves to get rough as well. She is always wearing a quite revealing heavy armor and a pirate jacket and has a parrot familiar usually found on her left shoulder, she also has a holy emblem tattooed on the outer side of her right breast to show her reverence to the primal spirits that she exposes every time she cast a spell.

Personality: Evayla is a bad ass girl and a troublemaker who likes to do what she wants and enjoys picking up fights and causing ruckus. She is aggressive and dominant with everyone but with those she considers her friends she is very protective and possessive as well. Always liking to get what she wants she will not only take a step forward to get it but will most probably go to any length to get her hands on it, be it a a valuable object, some booty or even a cutie.
Trait: To me, a tavern brawl is a nice way to get to know a new city.
Ideal: I’m committed to my crewmates, not to ideals.
Bond: I’m loyal to my captain first, everything else second.
Flaw: My pride would probably lead me to my destruction.

Background: Evayla was born on North Down and spend her childhood and given her draconic attributes she was quick to be feared, something that she would enjoy taking advantage on to abuse the people of the small town she was raised. While not too strong her mother was a sorcerer powerful enough as to stop the villagers to try anything against her family or at least directly.

It was once when a small crew of pirates landed on a nearby fisher town that several of the villagers went upon their meeting trying to convince then to steal the sultry dragonborn girl, hot as she was they would surely rape her and take her with them they thought and none of her parents would be able to prevent this fate and the town would be free of Evayla. They did managed to get rid of Evayla but not in the way expected though, for the cocky lad joined the pirates instead and cause quite a commotion before leaving town with her new friends.

Live was good then, freedom to do whatever she wished, to go wherever she wanted and there was one man she had to thank for that, Captain Braun, a mature human with a black beard that loved to spend his afternoons between Evayla's thick thighs, a pleasure she wouldn't resist as well. But just as her previous life had changed suddenly when she met him, things would soon change for her once again. The hidden treasure of Krak'al'dun, the old hag charged quite a sum of money for the old parchment that contained the map but it was well worth it the captain said and it really sounded like a great deal despite the death of a couple members they suffered getting it but they were finally able to get it, surrounded by mountains of silver there was a magical artifact that none of them was able to identify. All they had to do was to go to a big city to to get someone to investigate upon it but they never could.

Evayla woke up on an unknown shore, the rest of the ship sinking at the horizon and the rest of crew all dead, even her captain, the powerful Braun. They haven't even stole from them and only the artifact was missing. Who could have been so powerful to slay them all, and why had they left her alive? A few memories went clearer after some time, she recalled someone saying this belonged to the cult of the dragon but that was it.

Zaer Darkwail

Awesome char there Kathyan :). Although seems most are CN sort gals (ironic that party rogue if I would be picked is a LN because personal sense of code, could be CG in theory for personal code part but she is not whimsical and rather judgemental on people and sticking on her opinion once she sets it).

Naughty Miss Adventure

Glad you could make it Kathyan.  With that, I'll conclude the recruitment process and start mulling over the characters with Quasar.
